I'm a Tico and I have to say that most of the touristic places have bilingual people in order to attend properly to the tourists, however this is not always the case. We kind of wish you would include a lot more US idioms and slang expressions in your teaching materials, though, so we could communicate with native speakers of American English on an entirely new level.
