- Do you want to learn how to order food at a restaurant in English? In this English video lesson I will go to 4 restaurants and I will help you learn 4 different ways to order food in English.
It was really fun for me to teach this English lesson in the real world at actual restaurants! Come with me as I order a pizza, a hamburger, a sub, and some donuts. I will even help you learn some English as we go through the drive-thru and order a cup of tea for Jen on the way home!
I hope you enjoy this English lesson and I hope it helped you learn just a little bit more English!
Have a great day!

I'm going to use this in class next week. So hard to find real people speaking real English in actual real life! Thanks, Bob.
I am thinking exactly the same. This is so good material to teach and practice real english. Love it. Thanks Bob the Canadian. When you come to the Riviera Maya in Cancun let me know. You are great.
It's true! Nice.

Idk bro but ur name is the most whitest name ive heard its like you were born and raised in austin texas
Bob the Canadian videos are my favorite to use with my ELL students. His diction, pacing and vocabulary are just right for our advanced intermediate students. We've actually developed whole units around one of his videos using it as a springboard to expand on.
I’ve been in Canada for 4 years, mostly for college. Believe it or not, I only shopped at Tim Horton once and order everything online to avoid face-to-face conversations because I’m just too shy of my poor English. Will definitely eat out more to apply what I learn from the video. Thank you so much !
That’s good and keep going to be better 👏🏾
go ahead and do it

Just speak, improvement shows. ✊
I've been to not in, sounds weird.
Thanks, Bob! The video is great as always!

THis is just amazing, usually people who make videos about restaurants tend to land it for beginners and the contexts they use are sometimes so unrealistic from what a person does actually experience when going to any english.speaking country. And this is definitely not for beginners. Please more!
I'm French and my English teacher asked us to watch your video and answer few questions. That was a good exercice, your video is really cool :D
I am Russian. And I decided to study English, and it is also interesting to see life in another country. Thank you. I wish you success, health and well-being.

Thanks, Bob. I'm a language teacher in Taiwan. I use this clip for my food project class. The kids love it, and the language itself is not too hard for the kids to understand. It's so good!!!
Im Egyptian. Thanks, Mr Bob. I learned from you a lot that I work in a restaurant as a waiter, and I will use this word's in my work
I really love this form of teaching, It's kind and down-to-earth.
What's the meaning of "it's kind and down to earth"?
@@17shahrivar1356 it means “practice”
I teach English down here in Brazil and your content is absolutely fantastic, Bob. What I love about your videos is that you offer tons of high-quality input for learners. It reminds us that we shouldn't be chained down to workbooks or outdated grammar-based methodologies. Learners need to be exposed to real-life situations so that they can build automaticity.

You are amazing!! I’m so glad to hear this! I have been living in Canada for over 4 years( half of my time, I have been raising my 16 months old baby ). I have never been to an English school. @hello Elias how are you doing?
I think it is very instructive and clear. My suggestion would be to make more practical day to day situations

Hi brother, what you have provided in this Chanel it is very helpful and astonishing. Good luck and to the best 😉.KSA
It feels like I was with you during all your orders. Thank you so much, Bob, for all what you do and all your lessons
I tried to confirm this with my friend and teacher before because I felt weird to say/hear 'having here or take away' whenever I order at a fast food restaurant (the take away is fine, but the having here is weird to me). But it seems like this is what we use here in Malaysia. Glad to learn another way of saying it: for here or to go :)
you've made a huge difference in teaching english by making and posting these useful and practical videos , tnx bob :)
Mr. Bob your English lessons are very interesting. In new the future I am going to Canada with my family and you will be my favorite teacher there. I will keep in touch with you for further improving family education.
