What is Deeper Connect Pico? Everything you need to know

  • The Deeper Connect Pico is a tiny but great device that gives a robust level of Internet security and VPN (Virtual Private Network) services for absolutely free. No strings attached. It works using a decentralized virtual private network meaning no one has control over it and the people are the drivers of this network.
    The Deeper Connect Pico reminds me of an episode from the series 'Start Up' and 'Silicon Valley' where the teams developed a decentralized network run by the people, the Deeper Connect Pico device works on the same premise and it's quite genius.

    Very informative and shorter than most YT channels. You deliver more info in less time and its easy to learn and follow your advice. I'm going to buy the Nano since it can mine Helium and DPR and its a cheaper route to Helium since the cost for 2 is less than most HNT miners.

    First off, thank you for the great video and explanation. Very helpful. How is this device if I still have a VPN vis software in my devices, like the cell phone, tablet and PC/ laptop? Do I need to get the VPN disconnected to use the DPN Pico? And how do I use the Pico on my cell phone or tablet remotely?? I still have to hook it up via cable? That is the part I still don't understand. Right now I either way have the VPN running or nor on my cell phone. No hardware needed and total mobility which is great.

    • @henreeneo
      @henreeneo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So if you have an existing VPN you do not need to connect the pico to the VPN. The pico has built in VPN features so you can connect it to your router via WiFi or the included cable and then create a wifi network from the pico which you then connect your phone or tablet to the Pico's wifi

    How strong is the wifi coming out of it and can you use routers in other rooms linked to the wifi to bounce the signal?

    • @henreeneo
      @henreeneo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not very strong. If you have single walls between you and the room where the pico is located you'd be fine. But if you have two walls signal may drop a bit. But if your walls are of wood it'd be much stronger than cement walls. But you can also connect the pico between your wifi router and your fiber connection so your network is being handled by the pico DHCP and all. But I wouldn't advice this method.

    Essentially all of your web traffic will travel through someone else's Deeper Connect device before reaching the internet. This also means that strangers' web traffic is coming through your device, and this traffic will look as if it were coming from YOU. This puts every user of these devices into a similar legal situation to Tor exit nodes; if someone uploads or downloads illegal content on your connection, it will be your house that gets raided by federal agents. If you value your freedom and privacy, this is a big problem.

      So look at it like a mask. A thief enters a store, you know he's there cos he's carrying out a robbery but you just don't know who he is. You can tell he's male, about 6ft tall etc only thing is you don't know him. It the same premise here, you can tell the computer but the IP is masked making it look like the PC is browsing from another location. Even when you run things like tracert in cmd the PC will only be able to read the spoofed origin IP. Essentially computers can only see what you tell them to see. There are ways however to tell the real IP but that's for advanced hackers and network specialists
