What a beautiful pianist. She doesn't march in and stiffly sit at the piano and then turn on the appliance that activates the piano keys. Sara goes through a ritual of composing herself after her entrance is applauded, redirecting her sensitivities and marvelous facility to her instrument. Fantastic.
I really enjoyed this performance of the Abegg variations. Played exactly how Schumann would have loved it. This lady has given this piece a diamond of a performance. I have not heard any other major pianist play this so beautifully. Bravo to a brilliant female pianist. ❤
This piece is so unbelievable difficult. To play it so fast, so precise, and with so much passion in every keystroke, is something truly world class. Bravo!

One of the last great pianists, bourgeois background, taught by old, greater masters, and doesn't play making faces like in a shampoo commercial. The feeling is in the fingers and should remain there.
Please accept my apologies, Dileizhan. On second thought, I was intolerant and rude with you. Yes, I love Sara Daneshpour as a pianist, and In my opinion you are completely wrong about her wonderful rendition of this piece. But... this is only my opinion.
Really? Perhaps you have been listening to another piece, performed by another pianist. I respect you as a commentator, but yours is an absolutely revolting comment.
Certain runs/passages are much too slow. Also, her horrendous overuse and misuse of ruuubbaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttooooooooooo induces hair pulling. I respect her as a pianist, but this is an absolutely revolting interpretation.
Really ? And why not overuse of rubato in a piece which changed mood in each passage, typicaly Schumanian ? We are not here in an interpretation by a piano's pupal learning to hold the tempo right like we all learn to do at first. Check the version of Lang Lang and others.

Stunning performance - my favourite of the Abegg. Such poise, delicacy and charm throughout what is a very technically demanding piece.
Gorgeous. Such a soulful magical performance. I would love to hear Sara some day.

Mine too with Richter’s one ! So sensitive and subtle

Brilliant!
Admirable.
I love this interpretation. I can hear all the notes and very musical; not so fast a person can not hear i.e. understand what is played.
Это оочень здорово!!! Просто море эмоций!!! Девченка играет чувствами Шуберта! Ах уж эта Абегг!))
Она играет Шумана !
