- Zombicide: Black Plague is one of our favorite games. So, of course, we had to build a 3D board for it, and we did that brick by brick!

i love this game. its one of my favourite boardgame that i play to this day.
you have done a great work!
Thank you!
master piece. most importantly, what a wonderful idea, a zombie game with real walls, immediately brings the game to another reality level
Thank you!
This is truly amazing. Great job! I wish this came with the board game! That would be super immersive!
Thank you! I very glad you enjoyed the video. A board like this really does add a lot of enjoyment to the game. I love having everyone over to play on it.
Looks great! I'm getting ready to build some modular magnetic walls for my zombicide game!
Whoa! You guys are creative! Looks well made. Never thought to go 3D.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Remarkable work guys! Everything looks fantastic.
Thank you!
What a stunning result! Congrats for this great work.
Thank you Ralf!
Incredible! I can only imagine the time and energy put into this. Bravo!
Thank you!
You both did a great job!!!
I'm very into Z.
Playing 2nd Ed and Invader right now. BP is coming up next.
❤
Thank you!
Gorgeous, but crazy, brick by brick. Great idea color coding zombie bases.
Thank you!
Great How-to.
Glad I subscribed!
Thank you. I am very glad to have you with us on the channel. :-)
I need an invite to a game night 😁💪🏽
Good work guys!
Greetings from México!
Awesome and inspiring!!
My biggest issue with miniature/board games is the fantastic minis on a 2d board : /
I’m doing this for sure , )
Thanks for great work 🎉👍
Thank you - glad you enjoyed it. Yes! I feel the same way. It is so much better having 3D terrain for the games too.
Great job. Beautifully done tag-team project. The theming for this fantasy version is strong. Though gameplay-wise, I wish that Cmon did more play testing. I had to twerk some rules to make the game fun.
Thank you! We modified a rule about shooting into melee. You only strike another survivor on the roll of a “1”.
@@EHeathRobinson That's the Nat1 rule. A good idea for pros at the game with risk vs reward factor.
Some simple rules I can suggest for your games.
#1 - All xbow requires reload action except for repeating xbow (making it good again)
#2 - On start round, spawn zombies first. This creates a 'sense of urgency' in an otherwise empty (infected) town/map
#3 - Food items heals 1hp as well as gives 1 xp. You can also spend 1 action to feed your friends, encouraging the co-op factor.
#4 - Ranged vs Melee balance. Ranged is pretty strong in the game. One way to buff melee is to allow dual wielding weapons to combine their 1 damage to kill fatties. Both weapons need to hit, creating thematic moments. If you wish, you may use different colored dice to simulate the two weapons.
Happy Zombie Slaying!
(Optional rule)
I usually buff Abominations to 6hp (using D6 to track its hp). This way, it feels like requiring team effort to kill it instead of one dude throwing dragon vibe...
@@johntan4997 Those are some great ideas! Thank you.
Hello there! Those are awesome work! I'm also a big fan of Zombicide Black Plague and often play it every weekend with friends. My favorite expansions are the Zombie Bosses and No Rest For The Wicked. And my favorite special guest boxes survivors are Marc Simonetti, Paolo Parente, Jovem Nerd, Adrian Smith and John Howe. And my most played (...and loved) survivors are Cadence, The Prior & Hildir the wise. I wish we can play together someday. Anyway, keep up the good work, guys! :)
Thank you! I also have a bunch of the expansions, but they have not hit the table yet. I need to break them out. Maybe I have some of those survivors. I’d like to try them out.
wonderful job, plus with his partner who shares the same hobby
Thank you!
Thank you for the video. And wow
Glad you enjoyed it!
you're amazing" Congratulations
Thank you so much!!
Wow... What a nice work
Thank you very much!
Extremely creative!
Nice job! I like the small foam blocks!
Thank you!
Amazing!
Thank you!
It's a great work. Fantastic
Thank you!
Love the different brick coloring and shading! Bold move sir!!! That finished product is awesome...you kinda ruined BP for me now since I can't play with this board/terrain haha Great video Megan and Heath!
Thank you very much! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. It is a lot of fun to play on.
You two are amazing, I am inspired amd cant wait to do this too!
Thank you!
Amazing! Great job! You rock guys!
Thank you!
Oh my god that was trully amazing . You give me lots of idea for some project . Thx a lot ;)
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Loved it, going to subscribe!
Thank you! Great to have you!
When i see something of this scope, i always think "damn you need a 3D Printer"
I will get one eventually. :-)
awesome work!
Thank you!
Upgrading Zombicide would actually get me back into the game, well done. What is the name of the saw that you used to "cut" the foam core?
Thank you. We used the Proxxon hot wire cutter. www.proxxon.com/us/micromot/37080.php
First off I have a huge love for Black Plague too. Great job!! Doing the stones tan color matches the boards better. Thank you so much for posting this. I have been thinking about something simular. I can't wait to do it now. I also paint minis, Black Plague was the 1st I did about 3 years ago. I currently painting a new set now that I paint better. Adding doing this to that project now. Thanks again. How do players react to it?
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed the video. The players loved the board! Everyone thought it was great when they came into the gaming room and I had it all set up.
Nice!
But WAAAY to much work.
I've also color coded my Zombies for season 1, just black for standard, yellow for runners, blue for fatties and red for Abomination
Looks awesome! I'm planning to do the same stuff with my tiles, but I've not decided yet what to do with another side of tiles :) they are double-sided, so what was your solution?
They sold extra tire packs at one point. So I just bought an extra set.
@@EHeathRobinson oh, that's great. I don't know but I haven't seen that set. Will check it out :) thx
What paint brand/type do you use to paint the miniatures? Do you know of a good paint brush and paint kit link? Thanks, you guys are great, super inspiring.
Thank you! Probably 90% of the paints used on those miniatures were from Army Painter. I think they have some basic sets with brushes and maybe primer too. I am looking forward to getting their mega paint set!
Amazing work!!
Thank you!
Amazing
So where can we get the zombiecide as beautiful as the nemesis box game but can you help me get the zombiecide because I can't get the nemesis
I am not exactly sure what you mean. Zombicide: Black Plague should be available online. I am not familiar with Nemesis, but it does look like a beautiful game.
I do hope I find a video where you play on this map in your channel! If I do, I subscribe *goes off searching for the video I'm talking about*
very cool
Thank you!
Couldn't find video of gameplay with these tiles? Link?
I am reediting these videos based on the feedback I have received. They will be re-released on this channel soon. I expect the first Zombicide game to be back online on Friday, March 11.
Aren’t the tiles double sided? I assume the walls come off too.
The tiles are double-sided. The walls do not come off. We glued them down for steadiness and security during the games. CMON sold a tile pack separately so I was able to get second set of tiles.
Great work
Thank you!
Omg. This is insane!! How much time did you put into this?!
I don't remember exactly. It was done a while ago and there were several of us working on it. I am glad you like it!
Soooo.... Did you have 2 sets of boards? Saying you can't use the backside?
Great job guys ! If you have so much passion and energy, why not try to have some kids ? 😅😂 you ll have more players for your future Zombicide plays to have fun with, dont you ?
How do you do Abominotaur, with breaking down walls?
Thanks to Black Magic Craft for the "How To"
What size were the bricks you made? Thanks.
They were 0.25 inches by 0.25 inches by 0.5 inches.
Heath Robinson, that’s great thank you! I’ve been wanting to create something like this for a while. This video has inspired me to do it!
@@jessecunningham7257 Great! I am so glad to hear that!
wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwoooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Interesting board game, and I like this creating terrain part.. But , The opening sound of video is very loud, and plaguy... It is very unpleasant.. sorry
Thank you. I am glad you like the terrain build. That is the important part. 🙂
ballpark, how many man-hours of labor went into this project?
You know, I would not even be able to estimate. We put this together a while back ago, and we were working on other projects at the same time.
@@EHeathRobinson I'm gonna go out on a limb and say, just an awful lot. 🤣
I love zombiecide and have been working on painting some of the sets I have, but I get in a rut and don't work on them for a while. It's a lot of painting.
@@OTwrath It was indeed an awful lot. And yes, you are right. It is a lot of painting. I have all the expansions, but they are not painted yet either. Sometime I am going to have to do a marathon weekend to make more progress!
this is nice, but you cant play with the other side of the board..
I got too sets of tiles so I can make the 3D board for both sides. :-)
🤤😲😲😲😲😲😲🤤
Are you related to Dave Rubin? XD look a like
No, I don’t think so. 😀
