Johnny was an amazing singer. I grew up with this music, and starting with the Crests. I’m 76. I last saw him at the Woodbridge Concerts in NJ. He should be in the Music Hall Of Fame. RIP,Johnny!
The only singer I ever heard that can take somebody else’s song, sing it and make it his own. WHAT A VOICE! Great Group great selections and arrangements.
What a consummate and talented professional. Once the music starts, Johnny focuses on the best performance he can muster. No distracting silliness because he has sung the song 10000000 times. So sad he is gone but thankful for memories on TH-cam.
I miss Johnny he is my all time favorite a voice of gold. John is now singing for the Angles & the Lord !!!!He is in my heart. From John Kunz Glenside Pa.
