Yea I love all the themes in this game too but my personal favorite is the eroded valley music. I absolutely love that theme. It's so soothing and very relaxing
This was what got me hooked into the game. I was playing the demo, and going through it with this song in my head was one of the best experiences I had with these Ys games. After the demo, I was like "Yep. I gotta get this game!!!!"
What did you find annoying about it? The only thing I can think of is how easy it is to be poisoned (although every status effect in the game besides dark was really obnoxiously implemented).
@@Jordan3DS did you even try playing nightmare or at lease hard without getting an anti poison equipment just yet? the damage is very serious and sometimes gets people panicked.
@@mementomori502 I played on Hard without anti-poison equipment, and while getting poisoned was obnoxious, I liked going through the area overall. The only thing that sucked was doing the raid mode of the area (although every section like that is just obnoxiously filled with a thousand enemies, so it's not an issue exclusive to the forest).
Mount Gendarme was way more annoying the first time around... all the damn dinos that cant be defeated arggh! Its fun dungeon though at least once you get orichalcum weapons..
Being the summoner of Mist that I am from Final Fantasy 4, this song resonates with my senses. I can just see myself in my Rydia outfit practicing my summoning for fun out in the woods. What is it about this piece of music that is so drawing to me?
This is among my favorite tracks especially because it reminds me of Quatera Woods from Ys VI. I don't dislike a single track in the OST but this one is incredible.

Where am i? *Opens the map and sees that the map changes and sees a floor changer with a button pressed.* I scrolled to the upper lvl map and i realized i am on the bottom lvl. So all i need to do is get back to the upper lvl.

The very idea of a forest born out of an elevated coral reef is facinating: it is a proper Forestception.
Zenn virus they changed the name from the demo. "Raised coral reef" in demo. "Towering coral reef" in full game.

Oh god every YS 8 OSTs are so 1998 - 2004 JRPG atmosphere they're all really fit the game environment.
Even though the Towering Coral Forest was an annoying dungeon to get through, this song made it enjoyable
