Honestly super nice meeting you guys! TBH I wanted him to throw the master ball bc i had just so happen to get the shiny off the first raid I wasn’t even going to try and grind it out and I almost decided not to go to the community meet up but I ended up going just to say hi to trainer tips(nick) and Brandon tan having them catch the guaranteed shiny is just always going to be a memory for me and something I save on this account as a special Pokemon
I 100% agree as someone who would feel so much pressure on when to use a Master Ball, having someone I look up to catch a shiny with it with me sounds like one heck of a good way to use it.

Good on you man, and honestly this (or a rare Pokémon about to run) are exactly the point of this special ball. If we can laugh with people using it on a random Bidoof, then we should be chill with you locking in this memory 👍
You do you dude, don't let people tell you what you did was wrong, at least you know what you wanted to do with one, I personally will probably hold onto my master balls forever because I'd always doubt my decision!

I did 17 samurott raids for a 98 shiny then MIGHT have grinded like ten reshiram raids and got a 10/10/10 shiny

I did five Samurott raids, and got two hundos and a shiny. One of the better raid days I've had.

For those of you that don't know, shinies from raids are guaranteed catches, as long as you hit the pokemon with a ball.
But I had two 😤if it wasn’t for this interaction would of never of used either master ball

Buddy functionality idea / introduction of “bottle caps”:
What if for a certain amount of Km walked with a buddy, the buddied Pokémon were to find a bottle cap where, when applied, would increase or decrease the buddy’s IVs by 1.
For this idea, let’s say the Km needed to “find a bottle cap” were based on the rarity of the Pokémon and would multiply by 1.2x each IV gained.
For example, based on the eggs the Pokémon hatch from, or the level raid needed for the reward encounter, would determine if you needed 20 (tier1), 30 (tier3), 40 (tier4) or 50Km (tier5) walked for a single IV change. If a trainer had a 10/15/15 IV Charmander, they would need to walk 148.832km (round to 149) with the buddy Pokémon to get to 100% IVs. If a trainer had a 10/15/15 IV Gible, they would need to walk 297.664km (round to 298) with the buddy Pokémon to get to 100% IVs. If a trainer had a 10/15/15 IV Mewtwo, they would need to walk 446.496km (round to 447) with the buddy Pokémon to get to 100% IVs. The same math would be applied to reduce IVs for PVP Pokemon.
In addition to finding bottle caps with your buddy walking, perhaps they could be found in other activities by your buddy. Such as spinning stops/ raids/ gym battling / etc. This would also be EXTREMELY rare.
To avoid problems with caught 100%s, the stat changes could be visibly different than normal stats with the following:
* a notation on the Pokémon screen
* different colored IVs showing a bottle cap was applied
* the CP of these bottle capped Pokémon would be -1 of actual 100%s or PVP IVed caught Pokémon
* the 100% bottle capped would not be searchable with 4* but would have a search just for “bottle capped.”
Pros:
- This would make spoofing or radar services less profitable and encourages more gameplay with the same Pokémon.
- Entices player to “bond” with a single Pokémon for longer and therefore play the game more often to get the coveted 100% dex.
- Allows all types of players to get 100%s while also not flooding the player base with actual 100%s.
Cons:
- All players would have access to the best Pokémon if they walk enough
- The need to catch all Pokémon would be reduced slightly
If you can think of any other pros/cons, reply to this comment so we can share our thoughts about the idea and maybe someone at Niantic will pick it up! Ideas welcomed and I’ll update the post accordingly.

I got invites to Samurott on Saturday night from a friend in NZ, did six raids then, got a shiny (2*) on the fourth raid. Went out next day to do more and got another shiny (3*, 89%) after 12 (maybe 13, one ran) more raids, then went back to my apartment around 4 pm (did about six or so raids on the way back, no shinies) bc I was getting tired and hungry and all I'd wanted was one good-IV shiny, but during the last (bonus) hour decided to do a few more remotes and got ANOTHER shiny (2* again) and the very last raid I did turned out to be a hundo, not shiny though :p
Are you allowing yourself to progress on other special research while you do the daily one?
Ex: would you move on to page 3 of another research of the only thing was raids that you’re focusing on today?

I need to finish researches: 1) catch 3 Mareep (yes, I got it when community day was over and since then found 2 Mareeps), 2) catch a Ditto (there is a hope), 3) catch 5 Exeggcute - ZERO around, 4) evolve a Magikarp (also got this one after I already evolved a Magikarp and now they are not around,). I AM DESPERATE 😁😁😁

I just finished this research last month and ended up getting a 96% Mewtwo out of it! Not my best, but definitely a nice way to end the journey!
We Pokemon Go players may be have to first ever experience with Sinnoh Tour without complete Sinnoh Pokemon Pokedex.
A little possible Arceus will debut in this season, of course a lot of Hisuian form pokemon from Pokemon Legend Arceus make it debut in this season and this is logic that little possibility Arceus will debut during Sinnoh Tour.
I predict largely possible will don't have all Rotom form debut during Sinnoh also little possible Rotom will be Tier 2 raid boss during Sinnoh Tour.
How about Manaphy and Phione debut along with Basculegion ( all were water type Pokemon) but at least free to play players will not complete it Sinnoh Pokedex because hugely possible Manaphy and Phione locked behind paywall with money.
