I don't think i've seen anything quite like this before. I guess it just goes to show that the environments and their atmospheres are just as important as what we do in them~.
Man, Alice. I recognize and hardly recognize these environments. Not to say that linear gameplay can't or doesn't work, but for something like The Evil Within, I just remember jumping from one location to another without really taking the time to take in the environment. It's such a shame that probably a decent-sized troop of artists went into making these environments that some people will just try to get through as quickly as possible because the game doesn't prioritize observation and exploration. Thank you for this series, Alice. It really is one of my favorite things to watch on TH-cam.
I'm glad you're making more of these. Just watching this one tonight made me want to play the game just to get into that world and explore. The music really worked perfectly with the video. And... "random nonsense" is the best use of time, lol :)

So heartbreakingly beautiful. Some of the scenes make my jaw clench though, I've already associated them with threat and tension :(
