I'm so surprised because I landed right in front of a unicorn and it just stared at me but I managed to catch it pretty easily and now I have a general for my army of Nifflers (I got a male unicorn!)
I was literally just dropping rocks on poachers heads up the mtn . Just after the letter quest, and I seen a new beast marker pop up so I checked it out, and was like oh your mine. So I had to TH-cam if someone found the nest yet lol good job everyone.
I only found one unicorn den and visited during the night and it only got one unicorn but I did hear hooves nearby running away so I asume the other unicorns might have ran away when I tried capturing the white one.
I use the Disillusionment as well, but I use Arresto Momentum from a distance and as I approach it wears off and I freeze them then it's NapSack time.. But I've only found 1 den, which I assume is the only one.. and I've only gotten males.. 4 so far.. RIP..
I just saw your video, and couldn't figure out where the den was on the map, but I found it thanks to your tutorial. Yes, I agree with everyone there are a lot of poachers in the area and wolves, so I was nervous about catching the unicorn and scaring her off. Luckily the levitation spell helped a great deal. Also hiding in plain sight, I was waiting for my moment in the bushes, and she just laid down then as soon as she sensed I cast the spell and she was running. Question: Are there more unicorns in the game or only 1? I read an article saying that there is only 1 in the game, but that would be great if you could tell me? I know there are more animals than the unicorn if there are more unicorns just let me know! Thanks, everyone! And Thank you for posting the video you it a subscribe and a thumbs up from me! I love this game so much! And you taught me how to zoom in on the map to find other animal dens!
There are male, female and special golden unicorns, I dont think there are any more. However as far as I know they are not limited, you can catch one every day or every other day (if you dont want to wait just jump time on the map!), so you can definitly get multiple unicorns! 😊
If you never went to the area the den will not show up. I had the same problem because I kept on not finding the den when looking around on my map. It happens with every animal den. You just have to fly over it and then it will show up on the map
@@radvelvetcakez dam it didn’t post so I gotta retype but 1.go to beast spawn and capture it 2. Walk away from the spawn but not too far and open your map to wait 3. Save game after wait then load the save**** do step 2 & 3 in that order and repeat till you get a shiny or the opposite gender or both (if it’s not what your looking for still catch it and do the steps like they are and it’s guaranteed!!)

So I've run into a bug where no other unicorns are spawning. Only ever found two, and both were females. This game is full of near game breaking bugs, such as deeks stupid ass not allowing necessary conversation for quest progression with him, to my vivariums not loading or their entrances not working. And now this bullshit. Love the game, but getting fed up with portkeys lack of patches
I'm trying to get a male Unicorn, what you caught in this video is a female. any idea where I can find a male? because holy cripes I've been there and there is always only one female unicorn and I already got a female unicorn name Hazel. a old lady asked me to catch Hazel and keep her safe and I want to breed a baby unicorn. Only way for me to do that is to find a male Unicorn hence why I'm here... x.x
@oJurn there are rare ones with the same "shiny" symbol as pokemon lol. Their just a different shade usually but it's a cool feature for sure. And I imagine will be part of an achievement

Just got the nab sack and went on the hunt for puffskins just stumbled upon a unicorn den. Update I got the unicorn!! First try too

Do you have to be a certain level or quest progression before unlocking the unicorn den? I'm like level 25 but I still don't see it yet.

....also...Save before you try, this way if you're trying for pairs and you get another of the same sex, just reload and try again....

It’s easier to just freeze them. I’ll get close enough to lock on, freeze them, get close and freeze them again and just do the mini game.

If you use decendo on the unicorn you captures them instantly and not trouble
