Good work there. And thanks to Prof. for gracing the channel. I do have a question though... Does he mean that if an applicant has a high GRE, work experience, excellent letters of recommendation, great SOP and only a GPA just below 3.0 will not gain admission and let alone get funding ?

Very very interesting. Thank you very much brother. Thought you should know, I have like 5 admissions in the United States, but I have not yet decided on which one to pick. And also still looking for the graduate assistantship position. The cheapest among the universities is Liberty University and as of yesterday, my 120 form was shipped to me from Virginia to Nigeria, 1which they sent me my tracking number. Please I need to talk to you.

Please I like to ask, must recommendations letters come from the school, I mean must it be done by your lecturers. Can a clergyman give a recommendation based on his relationship with you, or your boss in the office?
My two recommendations were don by non academia, is that why I was denied admissions?

Please how much minimum balance in Ghana cedis or dollar equivalent should you have on your bank statement for F1 visa?And at what point do I request for scholarship after applying to wiu?
I have HND in Banking and finance with a GPA of 3.83 out of 5.00 grade point in Ghana and a two years Bachelor in Accounting and Taxation with a GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 grade point. ... now preparing for the GRE .
My questions are,
1. Im I qualified for any university abroad to do my masters with scholarship?
2. Without the GRE, can i still get an average school in any country abroad on a scholarship? Thank you.

Please i graduated with second class upper 3.85 over 5.00 gpa. I was second to the overall best student out of 447 students. Am curently pursuing Masters in International Relations but i lack fund, please advice.

I can apply to many universities but I am always worried about burdening my referees so that limits my applications
You wouldn't be burdening anyone if and only if you get a general reference letter without any school's name being mentioned..

Good evening from Ghana and hope you doing well.
I have gained admission to two schools and that is University of Illinois Springfield and Niagara university
I applied to work in the department for the university of Illinois Springfield and they asked me to provide two more recommendations letters . At the moment I am working on it but then, they made it clear to me that it is very competitive. I went through the website for financial aid and scholarship and I sent the school a mail and I was told I don’t qualify for some scholarship opportunities because the scholarship opportunities is only for first years
I later went through the school website and I realized I can actually apply for financial aid so I realized I needed to fill a form, that is the FAFSA form .
During the process I was asked to provide social security number
I do not have American social security number I only have the Ghanaian one and is not acceptable for filling the FAFSA form
Please what do I do ?

Exactly! You can always take 1 from them and the remaining 2/1 from your school.
