now this is proper rugby, sadly you won't see games like this anymore.

If that game was played today, you would only have the ref and 2 linesmen on the field at the end. Citation officer would be working overtime.

They somehow didn't include the all out mass brawl or Brian Williams getting knocked out before sprinting back on the field five minutes later like a demon with his head all bandaged up.

The game was better without lifting in the lineout and when the ball wasn’t fed into the locks in a scrum.

Violent? I wouldn't rank what is shown here anywhere near the violence of Wales v Australia in Brisbane 1978, or the first half of the same tour in Sydney. Also the Lions v NSW in Sydney where Duncan Mcrae gave one of the Brit forwards exactly what he deserved late in the game. Actually, that game would be the most violent I've ever actually attended.
Manly v Cronulla Grand Final 1973 would also make this Neath v Springbok game look like a game of 30 pussies.

Do you mean where Duncan McRae gave Ronan O'Gara (a fly half)few while laying on the floor? Why do you say it was deserved? I'm asking because if you're watching live you may pick up on stuff on the field that you don't when watching on TV.
