Absolutely amazing what someone can create in 12 minutes is outstanding , could have easily watched a hour long film of it , punisher obviously a legend , but a cockney penguin and a crazy joker was Epic. Loved well done griff n the cast x

I truly and absolutely love this gritty gnarly version of Batman. Bubble gut and all. Very close to Frank Miller's version.
The aesthetics and camera work are amazing. l loved how badass of a beast Batman was even in the retro outfit... the way he took hits with little impact on his composure. Just badass!
The plot could've used more work but it's clearly for the sake of production issues. With a bigger budget l'm sure this would've been just perfect. l love it anyway. Thank you very much for all the effort put into this!

Voice and acting wasn’t bad, but the look could have used more work in my opinion.
Batman's reaction to Punisher offing Joker showed the Ying and Yang relationship between the two characters. Joker and his brand of chaos was the perfect opposite to Bruce's desire for order. Frank Castle disrupted that balance.

Punisher vs batman is a great fight to see, they both fight for the same reason and have similar beliefs. Spirituality is sharing the same beliefs and fighting for the same reasons.

I think this was done very well! It had a slow start, but things took a turn when the first surprise guest arrived. Excellent score, good action scenes and an ending that leaves one wanting for more!
Definitely deserves to be reviewed and critiqued as if it was an actual feature film I think it had some flaws but then so did John carpenters movies have flaws. What I’m saying is this is absolutely fucking brilliant

This is very 80s lol as far as an else world story goes this works. It's a little campy but still had tension at the right moments.

Very well done as a die hard fan of The Punisher and Batman you guys did a fantastic job. Wish it was longer but still it was great.
This was awesome, could well see you doing some crazy vigilante series inspired by death wish and the exterminator. Loved the punisher in this, you cut closer to the silent, stoic warrior that he really is, rather than having him shouting and screaming like a nutcase every five seconds.

Watched this once a long time ago, it’s just as great as I remember… And getting Lawrence Harvey to play the penguin was truly inspired. Definitely wanted to see more

That was magnificent. Would love to see a feature length to flesh out the incredible characters. While I believe we can all agree, Charles' batman is a beast of a call, Harvey's penguin is one hell of a casting, deserving of his own feature. I understand the constraints of budget etc. Major props to James on this one, you deserve big things, sir. 👍🏼

Great film making/direction. Great soundtrack. Script & delivery couldve used some work - but great fan film. Also the penguin actor gets my personal best actor award - well chosen/executed.

Turns out the Punisher knows who Batman is. There were some cross overs in the 80's between Dc and Marvel comics.
I loved the Penguin! You chose the perfect and accurate actor to play! I would love to see more fanfilm focusing on the character. Just one question: Why is the movie called 1986? What is the reference, the context of the title?

The Punisher reminds me of John Wick in some ways in terms of combat especially the voice acting; the actor who played the Joker was perfect I thought it was like the bronze age coming out in life. I like the beginning shot of Batman in the far background where you least expect him to appear silhouetting the backdrop. The scenes were well shot like a 70s 80s Italian film gritty-like with some Christopher Nolan enhancements.
Man that was so amazing that I want more of it.
These were some absolutely perfect portrayals. Major props to the production team, the actors and the scriptwriter. The dialogue was spot on, Joker’s lines were hilarious & Batman was completely terrifying.
The intro gave me a Cyberpunk vibe. 👌
