Fantastic flick, only small criticism is that The Joker goes down too easily. Remember he has a madman's strength, he is immune to pain and he's a highly skill fighter. He's beaten Batman in fist fights several times including their first encounter back in Batman issue one. Other than that it's amazing, so much better than any Hollywood live action attempts. The guy playing The Joker is second only to Mark Hamill.
I agree, most of the time the excuse is that it makes the actor's expressions difficult, but recently the opposite has been proven. Other than that, Batman with white lenses makes a lot more sense, so he can't be recognized by his eyes and instills fear in his enemies by giving him the impression of being a shadow creature.
That stalking scene is one of the absolute best live action Batman moments ever. It really nails the concept of Batman being a supernatural demon to his enemies instead of just a man. Love it.
One of my favorite scenes too, and honestly we just made it up on the spot because it was late, raining, and too dangerous in that building to do any stunts!
Batman should be like a horror movie to the mooks that encounter him. That's for sure. True, Joker is too nuts to be afraid of him, but everybody else should be.
I liked the nods to the tv series Batman when Batman punches the Joker and he falls back on a sign that says "Pow!" and the nod to the animated series where Batman is on top of the building and lightning strikes.

The fighting choreography was better than in a lot of movies. In a sequel I would hope for more gadgets, but I get it's hard to do with a limited budget.
Thank you so much! The fight scenes had to be top notch or the whole movie wouldn't work in my opinion. It might have ended up just sounding like Hamil's Skeletor too lol. Some of the writing I had Hamils Joker in mind, but the performance was definitely more of a Goodfellas mobster with a dash of Cesar Romero. Make sure to subscribe if you haven't already, we will be making a sequel with Mr. Freeze!
@@NoirTech83 he sounds a lot more like jack napier from the 89 movie( jack nicholson), looks the part too. Mobster vibe
@@yagamijubei28 Jack Napier played by Jack Nicholson, talking to Jack Palance, a Jack for all trades.
@@NoirTech83 thats the most awesome part.
5 ⭐s man 5 fucking ⭐s!!! This fan film is everything I wanted with a Batman film and more. You guys did an amazing job with this! Fight choreo was fucking solid, the Joker is legitimately hilarious and your take on Batman with the white eyes holy shit man!
Clearly your standards are very low!
What a fun fan film! I loved the noir style; it reminded me a lot of The Batman Animated Series. The approach also felt very comicbook-esque. I think the artistic choice to go with white lenses for Batman was one of my favorite character design choices. Your Joker's different types of laughs was one of the best parts; it was so very uncanny. I hope you make a sequel one day! Just link us to the Indiegogo and I'm on board!
WHY HAVEN'T THIS BLOWN UP ALREADY?!!!
Beats me! Most people love it but it has had a very hard time spreading to more people.
People just forgot that these fan films were put in a lot of work and not as big as the theater screen but I love fan films, they bring the project of what was already loved into a reality
Thank you x how come I’m just seeing this a year later !! It so impressed at your production quality, acting more most importantly the FEEL of the Batman !! It’s not something that is easily explained & is highly subjective but I’m the kid that only had comics until I was 18 in & Burtons Batman!
So brought back those memories of reading tattered old paper as they were hard to get hold of in the suburban Yorkshire U.K. in the 1980’s x thank you all x
Oh do an obscure baddy like dr Lite or condiment king !! Itd be mega
This version of Joker reminds me of Dr. Phil for some strange reason. He even kind of sounds like him too. Kind of scary, to be honest.
Great job.
Well done! The fight choreography was great and felt like Batman!
Thank you! That is my favorite scene in the whole movie!
Appreciate that! I did the fight choreo for this! It was definitely an adventure from start to finish!
Y’all did a fantastic job! Great work!
Awesome!!
this is a genuinely great fan film, i've always enjoyed portrayals of batman as a fear-enducing stalker (if that makes sense) and this was pretty much perfect imo. even the joker, he was greatly interpreted in your own style and if i were to describe how this joker acts to myself from half an hour ago, i'd be a bit meh, but it actually works quite well. great job 🔥
Edit (after reading the pinned comment): YOURE MAKING A SEQUEL?!?!?! LETS GOOOOO
Thank you so much! I would love to do a sequel one day, I have the script written and costumes made. I will make another one or two movies before I make a sequel however.
This Joker is kinda funny in this. It’s kinda rare to see Joker be actually funny.
Thank you. We were going for the Clown Prince of Crime angle, not the modern anarchist version.
Same. I miss it when he’s actually got a sense of humour. Not some monologuer about how he wants to suck off batman or how life sucks
I love this concept and the execution, this presents the bad guys as the prey and Batman like some kind of souless predator, with that terror vibe, you nailed it and even better, you actually presented something original that has never been done with the Bat in live action
Thank you! Predator is one of my favorite films so there was definitely parallels there, and if I didn't think what we could do would be original, it wasn't going to happen.
This is the live action Batman film true Batman fans been waiting for
thank you! Tell your friends about it, if we get enough views on this one, we will make part 2 which introduces Mr. Freeze, with the "Heart of Ice" treatment!
What color is the batsuit?
@@samirhall7530 It is grey, with a slight blue tint to it. Maybe it doesn't come across on camera, since some others said they wish the suit was grey.
I know the BLOOD, SWEAT, & TEARS that went to this amazing work. It's truly a stand-alone piece that pays just enough homage to It's many predecessors to make you go, "OK! That's Cool!" That's what is awesome about this film. It respects it's roots, gives you some new tweaks and in the end...
"LEAVES YOU WANTING MORE!!!"
Thank you! I will slowly release more in the future to fix that itch!
The best batman ever. I thank the director and everyone involved in making this vision of batman possible....this is the type of batman we wish to see.. You guys made our dreams come true...
Thank you !!!
WOW Thank you so much! This was my dream come true as well!
This was perfect, I can't wait to see Harley Quinn's representation in one of your sequels
not bad at alllllll!! waiting for more!
I’m in awe, best live action remake ever
I've seen a lot of Batman fan films (Great ones) but this is tops. I really enjoyed everything about it. Keep up the great work.
Wow thank you so much! I hope to make another one and outdo this one.
@@NoirTech83 Sounds good.
Best Batman Fan Film so far.. imagine 30 minutes without me skipping.. not even one sec... That's rare
Thank you very much!!
This was so well put together and executed from both a technical and accuracy standpoint. The costumes and music is spot on, and Batman's constantly glowing eyes was so mesmerizing and eerie everytime he shows up on screen. I can tell this was made by true blue hardcore fans who love the source material and actually like these characters. Please hire these guys DC
Thank you so much! The white eyes were a must for me if I were to make this movie, because it hadn't been done before. It took almost a year to figure out how to do it right!
@@NoirTech83 definitely worth the extra work, they look perfect here. I need a sequel with Two-Face or Penguin in this exact 1930's serial style, it rules.
@@mega6836 There is already a script written for part 2 with TwoFace! and another villain...the cold and lonely kind...
@@NoirTech83 YOOOOO even better, Victor would be great in the Battinson universe as well
@@mega6836 Freezes suit is already built and it's a real functional cooling suit. We live in Texas where it's hot and I'm a sucker for realism in camera.
this by far is one of the best batman fan film I've seen in a while so nice work to everyone involved
Esta es la mejor adaptación a live-acion que e visto en mi vida.
This is a phenomenal film with such a great old school feel that I longed for. My whole family enjoyed watching it, the suspense and the talent was awesome! Will be waiting for sequel!
Thank you! Maybe I'll get to part 2 one day, but do it faster this time!
The fighting choreography was better than in a lot of movies. In a sequel I would hope for more gadgets, but I get it's hard to do with a limited budget.
Thank you so much! The fight scenes had to be top notch or the whole movie wouldn't work in my opinion. Low budget did make it hard for more gadgets but we kind of leaned into it, as I wanted Batman to be more of a ghost rather than a man with tools, but I did make exceptions because I liked the grapple gun we had. If we do a sequel, you will see more gadgets I promise!
Well done ✔️ You certainly have what WB is lacking. Keep us fan-made filmmakers and DC comic fans proud 👏
Thank you so much for the kind words! Now if only I could get some of that WB money!
@@NoirTech83 I wouldn't worry about that. Great films were made on low budgets.
This joker is my cup of tea.
This was amazing. I definitely see this become a series.
Thanks man! If people keep watching them, I'll keep making them.
Amazing film and an amazing job well done to everyone involved! The imagery, cinematography, fight choreography, score, dialogue... everything about it meshes so well together and truly pulls you in!
Here's a man with good taste!
This Batman is like Affleck mixed with Pattinson
Totally not intentional but that is a great compliment!
@@NoirTech83 it's badass
This was good impressive fight scenes, very well done
THIS WAS AMAZING 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is absolutely amazing. I love the whole “ya don’t see Batman a lot for most of the film” aspect. It’s just amazing. Keep up the great work 😁
Thank you! make sure to subscribe so you are notified when we do the sequel!
10/10 I love watching fan films like this. Soo much effort put in to this and it shows from how entertaining this was.
Thank you! Everyone worked so hard on this!
Great Movie. The Guy playing the Joker is awesome and the Telltale/Batman Design is pretty cool.
Thank you! The Telltale look was a huge inspiration.
Very well done! Looks like they went with a Batman Telltale Season 2 kind of a look.
I never played the game but I did take inspiration from the look and camera work from the videos of gameplay I saw.
This is incredible! Joker is so well-characterised, and Batman, finally, the creature of the night. Amazing.
Ima fan of the all white eyes like in the comics..I would love to see that implented in the movies, that can explain how he can see in thr dark with ease or whatever type of vision he needs for any given scenario
All the movies and cartoons have been out there it took you to finally use his cake for something cool when he lifted that guy up
You should watch Marcus' making of The Bat videos to see how he did that!
Wow, what a great film. When is the installment?
What a very well created movie!! I genuinely think the fight scenes are far better than anything I've ever seen in any WB creation. Far more believable. Love the fight in the corridor with the dustbin lid and head-butting, superb. keep it up! Would like to see your take on Bane, that would be good.
Did you catch the Bane Easter egg?!
wow, this fan movie is amazing. good job!🖤🦇
Thank you so much! Make sure to subscribe so you get notified when we release the sequel, it't going to be....COOL
Hell yeah love this film!! Love the look and feel!
