Good idea going over to mems3. You can disable the immobiliser within the ecu

Hello Gregory, greetings from Germany. I didn´t manage to see all your Videos of the MGF Race Car build yet. But what I saw you have a MGTF160 oil cooler attached to that engine plus some kind of oil - air cooler in front. Just in case I realy need to get one of these oil cooler lines from oilfilterbraket to oilcooler. I have collected 5 full sets of MGTF160 oil-water cooler over the years but everytime these lines are bad /rusty.. etc.) So if you may want to sell your very good locking one I would be happy to buy one from you. Otherwise I managed to get my hands on 3 new and soon another 4 used ULW 16 inch wheels from TF Sport Pack 3. 6,1kg for a rim seems to be the best with 95.25 PCD available. I dont do a race car build, just get all the parts for collective reasons (Trophy 160 with all the TF160 parts)
Btw. I have the VHS Kit here for my 2 MGFs. Do you have a detailed picture of the fitment of the rear braces under the engine cover and how you attached the braket to the wall between engine room and frunk?

I think the oil cooler itself is not very good, water in oil, can't see it being headgasket as that's new. As for the lines, yes I belive I got one of the last new sets available, I will probably keep hold of them, as you say, very hard to get hold of.
The rear braces you will need the bracket from the TF and just bolt it onto the separating wall between engine and boot.
