I am 82 years old. My father and I were Baptist ministers, we joined the Church 50 years ago in Florida. My dad and mother also served a senior full time mission to Bath, New York. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the restored Church of Jesus Christ. Thank you for your service and your testimonies.
I am preparing to go on my mission and I didnt realize this video would be coming from return missionaries :) I was touched beyond and inspired even more to go on my mission. Im scared but now cant wait to preach to many and maybe Ill have a big miracle story that will change my life aha I love this gospel thank you so much for sharing !
I love the story that starts at 10:14 it hit me.... They were all amazing and i cant wait to be able to tell my own stories!!(: i am so thankful for all the missionaries and how selfless they are to go serve others for 2 years they are just ao amazing!!(:
Yes, the first young man! God brings miracles. If we are in need, and pray in faith, we will receive just as we needed just when we need! I've had miracles in my life!
these are amazing stories I cried on the one about the Mexico mission, I hare my testimony that trough scripture and prayer will lead us to heavenly father's plan💖
I live in a small town and have a small branch but missionary's make everything that happens at the lds church great you will get so very close to them you will learn to love them you will learn a lot more than you know about the church. That is my testimony I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ amen 🙏
This is really a marvelous work and a wonder. The story about Cristian's conversion to the Restored Gospel really moved me. The work of this Church is transforming individuals and communities for the better.
Miracles happen every day to Mormon missionaries. I know of a lady who was on death's doorstep with leukemia, ready to die. She got a blessing by two Elders and was healed. Her doctor was in shock. Her family was. People who prayed who were illiterate and could read, bad spirits being driven out. How do I know? I saw them for myself. :-)
Who else had tears setup from the third story? That really touched me! First guy face looks familiar, think I have seen or watched a video about lds from him b4; his story was from my continent, west Africa and from Liberia
there is a great pair of missionaries in my ward right now, one from Texas, and one from Samoa. the elder from Samoa had never seen snow before, so when it started to snow he was sitting by the Christmas tree singing and playing his ukulele. I was also told that the two of them are best friends. at the ward Christmas breakfast they sang beautifully and played the piano together, I know that they will never forget each other. btw they live with a family in my ward.
I seriously loved the third story! I felt the spirit while listening to it and it's experiences like that, is what I want to feel on my mission!!!!!!! I'm so excited to serve !!! I can hardly wait!
I'm currently watching the second and I have tears in my eyes. I know the pain. My brother and I (twins) went to the mtc together in Colombia and when my brother left for his mission in that airport (he left 10 minutes before I did. We both went to Ecuador but neighboring missions). I started bawling my eyes out. It was hard being two years without him but it was worth it. I loved my mission but I still felt like a part of me was missing and I knew it was my brother.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful testimony elders. Bloody amazing even so, I am an unactive member I still believe that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. Long story short I was a strong member of the Gospel 6 years ago. I didn't have the faith and courage to carry on so I left the church. Listening to the Elders Korero might inspire me to come back to church. Sweet!!!! thanks, elders, haha I send my love from New Zealand.
Hohapata, I was also inspired by the missionaries in the videos. Amazing testimonies! It seems that deep inside you may still have a knowledge that the church is true. Let me add to the testimonies that I also know the church is true. I challenge you to attend church again and read the Book of Mormon again. Pray and ask God if what you are reading in the Book of Mormon is true. Then reflect on the feelings you receive in your heart.
When I took the lessons, I felt so much like Agnes. It was hard to retell when they said even though I understood exactly what they said. So much was, it was so hard to believe the rest of the world hadn't grasp this truth. So what was I missing?
What is the Book of Mormon? I thought it's the Bible since y'all believe in Jesus too.Is it deferent then bible and why would it be deferent if the Jesus is the same Jesus that I believe in?
Mormons do use the bible. But, we also believe in the book of Mormon. The book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. according to LDS.org, "The Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ and confirms the truths found in the Holy Bible. Far from undermining the Bible, the Book of Mormon supports its testimony of Jesus Christ. One passage says that the Book of Mormon “shall establish the truth” of the Bible “and shall make known to all kindreds, tongues, and people, that the Lamb of God is the Son of the Eternal Father, and the Savior of the world" if you want to know more, just visit LDS.org. Hope this helps!
Meri Mer just like the Bible is a history of the people, prophets, and teachings; the book of Mormon is about the people, prophets and teachings in north america. Its a another testimony of Jesus Christ. Where did the people come from that lived in north america that Jesus taught the people here just like He taught the people of the Bible.
The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, it is the "Stick of Joseph" as mentioned in the old testament. It is part of the marvelous work the Bible teaches would happen in the last days before Christ's second coming. The Stick of Judah (The Bible) and the Stick of Joseph are now one in our hands, and could be in yours if you act on the promptings for good that are in your heart.
The Book of Mormon is another witness for Jesus Christ. The Bible and the Book of Mormon go hand in hand in teaching people about Jesus Christ and His gospel. You can learn more if you want to by going to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great question! Just happenstance. Of the 850 or so RMs I've interviewed for Prepare to Serve only about 270 were sisters (see: preparetoserve.com/sister-missionary-interviews ). That said we'd love to interview more sisters! Thanks!~Alex
@@MissionaryMall I wish I lived in Utah so you could interview me!! I have amazing stories from my mission. Our Father in Heaven is a God of Miracles & loves His children!!!
There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there's perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account. It's called Canaan, Babylon, and Egypt A Comparative Theological Analysis on Creation sold by Eborn Books. Great read. Thumbs up! 👍
As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we pray to our loving Heavenly Father. We know he listens to us and blesses and helps us. Hope this helps!
Investigators are people who are meeting with missionaries and learning more about the Gospel. They are "investigating" the truths of the restored Gospel before they commit to being becoming a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Hope that helps! :)
Yes! We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Sometimes called LDS. A lot of people call us mormons as a nickname, but that's not correct. We follow Jesus Christ! We are christians! :)
I am 17. I remember a story a returned missionary told in Sacrament about how he and his elder partner kept praying and they felt like they we're directed to one house. And the owners of the house kept denying them because they were busy. Well apparently thier daughter had devoloped a rare incurable disease and had a few weeks to live. The elders one time when knocking saw her and asked if they could bless her. The family didn't have any obligation as they just wanted then to stop knocking. They administered a blessing and she recovered fully a few weeks later. The family couldn't believe that this happened and they became devout in the LDS faith and I think one if the elders eventually returned and married the girl who he saved through blessing. I can't help but notice how it feels as if only LDS people truly work miracles.
Yeah I think alot of examples of faith come from the missionaries being there to bless peoples lives. It's truely by your faith that Heavenly Father blesses us to find answers to all our prayers. It's just getting through our trials that makes something become more and more the lesson we learned from it it's self. I think that our trial of faith is where we become better in all our choices so thats why we go through all these things in a world of uncertainty.

I would say...technology can do a lot!, yes! But when technology is not enough, when doctors are not enough, God can!, in believing people!
Why were there no sisters? :(

Truly a miracle
As Mormons, when you pray, who do you pray to?
As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we pray to our loving Heavenly Father. We know he listens to us and blesses and helps us. Hope this helps!
what happened to christian
Their stories inpire me to serve in a mission
what are investigators??
