In the future for sure 😂 I'd say those protest signs from fo76 'bot took my job!', 'give us our jobs back!', 'man > machine' and similar are quite literally around the corner considering AI will replacing some jobs soon, in near future it will replace more and more of them.
Man, you wouldn't want to be a businessman in the Fallout World; you make it rich quick but you run a huge risk of ending up with some hefty charges! Good thing Nuclear Armageddon put paid to the risk of winding up in Court...
Ive always said a prewar series would be amazing to watch. As awful as things are in the world in some places in reality, the harshness and desperation we reach as a society is immensly fascinating to watch unfold in Fallout.
Think of how long cigarettes were legal even though there ws massive piles of research showing its dangers. There's plenty of instances of corporations acting in such ways. Oil companies to this day, while giving money to greenwashing efforts, fights any efforts to regulate them and denies there's any problems with the climate and will probably continue to do so for decades more. So a company working on military assets during a war getting away with such stuff seems pretty reasonable. Great video.
Thanks. I think the main difference between HalluciGen Gas and those examples is that the damage caused by HalluciGen is instantaneous. It’s a lot easier to ignore problems if they take a long time to manifest.
