BGC has a building restriction, offices should be 80% wall glass and 20% concrete, then residential buildings are at least 20% glass and 80% concrete or you can increase the glasses percentage but not lower than 20% that's their rule. And the rule became the benchmark for those incoming under-construction business districts/cities now like ARCA South, Pasay City Harbor Center, Horizon Manila, SM Bay City, Solar City Manila, and City of Pearl Manila, among those 19 new reclamation cities at Manila Bay. Cheers!

BGC (Bonifacio Global City) is formerly known as Fort Bonifacio since it is part of an American military base before it was developed. The area was designed as a three-by-three matrix of high-tech offices, residential buildings, retail outlets and pedestrian-friendly roads and walkways.
It was just developed 15-10 years ago, that is the reason why all the buildings are new, some are wondering why we still have the old Manila vibe in some other locations here in the Philippines, well.... its better to build from scratch than to modernized an old city with so many people already residing on it.
This is just one of the Financial District of the Philippines, Makati is still the biggest Financial District here with so many high rise buildings compared to BGC.

This area (TCT dated 1902) was turned into a camp then known as Fort William McKinley after the 25th US president, William McKinley.
Under the AFP leadership of Gen. Alfonso Arellano, Fort McKinley was made the permanent headquarters of the Philippine Army in 1957 and was subsequently renamed Fort Bonifacio,[5]...."

It would be nice if you can also visit American cemetery just outside BGC. It was a huge place too. I hope you can make a footage of it.

During world war 2 Philippine cities were most second devastated cities. 80 percent of the classic buildings and roads were destroyed. Houses were destroyed. Philippines started from almost zero again during 1940's.

@@AFRICANTIGRESS we are still aiming to reclaim the lost glory we once had for we are the 2nd richest country in Asia back then but now atleast we are progressing fast again and it wouldnt be the same again after a few years for we are building many projects 2 subways, inter island bridges, many airports and new cities thats why many of our neighbors are jealous and insecure

The audio just only came back when you started talking like facing the camera in your face and do an interview with that guy named Marcus. That's it. But the rest, is just silence.
