- Today we are treated to LNER 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley on the Settle to Carlisle Fellsman . Starting in Blackpool, Preston, and Hellifield and seen at Selside Shaw working hard without any assistance from the rear after very heavy rain had just passed, i got permission to film from those in the field, very nice indeed . Note i have been kicked off the Y/T partner program for non compliance for three months, that's after appealing i don't know what i have done wrong, Robots and Ai ???
We were on it. What a day. So good to hardly hear a murmur from the rear gunner
NIce work Steve. Really good location to see Sir Nige at his best
Thanks Mark, glad it faired up, wouldn't have mist SNG however wet it was, thanks for watching . 🙂
Steve, Plenty of action in this video and all nicely captured. Regards, John
Thanking you John for your kind comments, yes 60007 made a nice change from the usuall, cheers Steve .
Very good Steve , going well with a nice break in the weather . We actually planned the same location but moved due to the rain coming at the camera 😂
Got pretty wet setting up but luck was on our side as it faired up for the steam .👍
Lovely to see her going so well with no help. Thank you for braving the elements as per!
Yes a great day for steam enthusiasts, thanks very much .🙂
Excellent vid Steve, good to see the A4 up here again. Good location and a bonus with the cement train.😀
Thanks David, yes glad it faired up for the A4, quite busy on the S&C this morning .
Lovely them Steve spot on lovely performance from the A4 St selside shaw 😊
Thanks Graham yes great to see the A4 this morning working without any help, cheers .
Lovely shots Steve, You gambled and won with the weather, instead of venturing up the S & C or catching the train at Hellifield I ducked out and did a 20 minute drive to Hellifield from Chatburn at 09.25 without bothering to look at bridge 65 a mere 5 mins walk away in a downpour and kept myself and camcorders dry! Within 5 mins of SNG going north the weather improved!
Just another day at the office!
Thanks for your efforts. Brian
Thanks Brian, not easy filming in the rain but seeing Sir Nige was worth getting wet for, thanks Steve .⛈
Nice video, Like ! ! !
Nice shots Stephen. Nice that the earlier heavy rain cleared out of the way before the train arrived
Thanks Idris yes it was to be a great sight seeing the A4 after the rain eased, worst 12 months weather for ?????
Excellent camera work Stephen. Glad you got a break in the weather - I had an awful two-and-a-half-hour trip up the Cumbrian coast from Barrow to Carlisle that morning and didn't envy anyone filming outdoors.
Sorry to hear about your problems with TH-cam - rather worrying for the rest of us.
Thanks very much for your kind words, yes pretty wet it was but after getting wet it faired up just about, yes i cannot understand and no explination of whati have done wrong only the standard stuff, robots oh dear 🤔 lookout all
Good catches of SNG working well Steve. Big fencing job going on?? The chap in orange didn't seem to notice the passing train 🤣.
cheers Phil, yes more money wasting on fencing, only level with the walltop any gaps be hard to put up, be rotten in five years, anyway it was great to see the A$ today despite the rain .
Another lovely video Stephen well done great camera work as usual I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on TH-cam bye for now Philip
thanks philip for watching, cheers .🙂
Nice to see SNG in action without help from the ubiquitous box. Well done 🤓 sorry about the AI and robots they're clearly deranged 🤔😂
thanks very much, yes great to see the A4 today despite the wet start, what can you do when you cannottalk to a person to sort out what and were, but no just the usall standard do and don'ts 🤔
Nice video Steve :)
thanks Simon, cheers Steve .
