Andy, I'm 66 years old. Been a jack of all trades for everything but truck driving, 20+years. You are truly an inspiration from the first video I watched of yours. Thank you.
I totally agree! I laffed my butt off when the solution to a stripped out gearbox was a "BFW". Whattahoot! If this guy was closer I would grab tools and give him a hand as I too have a superficial knowledge of a bunch o' stuff. The last time I loaded by car with tools and crossed the border to help a friend who had moved into a new house, in Minnesota, the border guy was just a bit suspicious that I was going to be paid. I had to imply that we were friends with benefits. Luckily my missus didn't make that trip as she would not have found that strategy funny. Ha!
As someone who has done the same thing - all of it - this year, I salute you! My oldest daughter and I dug our "holding tank" hole for a tote by hand, which was great until the last 2 feet where it was solid clay and sandstone! Fixed up an old 5th Wheel and live comfortably. I do recommend a heated hose! Bought ours on Amazon and works well.
Our motto is we'll figure it out. Almost never know what we're doing, but almost always figure it out. Enjoy watching someone else doing the same. Take care!
I learned so much from the videos that I almost wanted to move to the country. Lol. I'm to lazy to do all the work but I live trying to imagine my self doing the same stuff you are doing. Keep those videos coming.
Keep building your house on the rock Andy, and a wise man would buy a Skid Steer! I love you and as always you still need a skid steer! Buy Carlos some more chickens she'll forgive you!
Hey Andy, Fellow contractor in the LP of Michigan, just wanna say I love the work you put into the editing, education, comedy, and humility of your videos. I appreciate you, love you, and keep doin what you do man.
you are a jack of all trades. honest, when the world ends as we know it, i can only hope for a guy with your ability. its a pleasure to watch your content, where can i buy your merchandise .
Hi Andy from the UK I found your channel by chance and I'm glad I did. Your vids always make me smile and I always look forward to seeing the progress of the offgrid chicken shed. Keep up the good work and more power to ya
1:55... "Lets talk about everything I did that people are gonna argue about" 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Im Dead!!! That statement wins the internet for rest of the year! Lmao
I just love how you make do with whatever to make things work. I make things work with what might go wrong in the house ya know, with this, and that's around the house. I'll be prayin the roof hangs in there till ya get the shed thing over it. Looks great! God bless.😊❤
Love you and God Bless! Thanks for taking us on you journey! All in all it’s going really well! You have clearly missed your true calling! Very clever comedy with great delivery!
Your kick ass brother lol I want that life so bad! Also I think 4 grand for that camper was a great deal.. pretty much all campers RVs roofs end up leaking at some point
I would suggest a built mud room as a transition between outside and trailer, will certainly cut down on dirt in trailer and you will thank me come winter.
Great video as usual! 😎 Rolling the pipe out is much better! I'm a electrician and it's the same with rolls of wire... ROLL it out and it's nice and neat and not looking like a string of DNA! 😂
Morning Andy! I can’t seem to save the video you did around preparing Chicken and dumplings when Carlos was sick🤷🏻♂️. Thought I saved the facebook post but was hoping you could repost it today???🙏
Many years ago when the small town I lived in finally got sewer we found out our septic tank was a 55 gallon drum and a fuel oil barrel... You should be good
Always look forward to ur vids . Iv bee living in fifth wheel for last few years an working restoring old cars.. much loves from lethbridge Alberta canada
A pony pump or even a pressure tank may give a bit more pressure; but sure you know that. I’m actually from the St Helen area. Love your content by the way.
The ones I got are stainless steel. Other people said you're supposed to wrap them with silicone tape if you're gonna bury them. I don't know. I'm not a plumber. Lol
"Maybe I'll get made fun of less in the comments" The ones that are criticizing you are the ones that are *QUACK*ing jealous. The ironic part is that they're helping you grow by criticizing you, and you'll show up more in their feeds because they interacted with your channel. The algorithm says, "He likes this!" 🤣🤣🤣
I watch this channel as an example of how not to do things. Please change your channel name to “Andy’s Halfassed Homestead.” Just kidding. I love yas! ❤
Man that pipe seems kinda small as a feed for multiple outlets but hey i live in new zealand and we use 30mm medium density pipe and we dont have a frost line ether

Much appreciated!
It’s not a home plumbing project unless you go to the hardware store at least 3 times 😂
Those chickens are going to love that "off grid chicken house" they deserve it.
Awesome! And the stalking chickens are hilarious!
Andy,
Its always fun watching. I enjoy your humors thought process. Keep up the good work. I'm guessing the tailgate on the Dodge doesn't open. Boe 👍😊
I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciate your channel. Thank you for sharing all that you do!

Andy thank you so much for your videos. Your humour (yes, I'm Canadian dammit and that's how it's spelled!) is just awesome.

I appreciate you mostly showing only the rear end of the 1st gen. Seeing the front end just makes me sad 😂😭😭
Fabulous video 😂
Regards from Australia 🦘🦘
I've spliced a ton of rainbow tree roots in my career. You are correct sir, they are expensive roots.
The chicken's follow you waiting on food to drop out of you. I have seen it time and time again. 😂😂
Love you and God Bless! Thanks for taking us on you journey! All in all it’s going really well!
You have clearly missed your true calling! Very clever comedy with great delivery!
Must be living right, nothing breaks everything starts...amazing
You've come a long way since the day we watched you wrestle (bend) the sand point well drill! Congrats!
For frost free I always cut a slot in a old bucket and set it over the bottom packed with old straw and that helps keep dirt out for draining
Your kick ass brother lol I want that life so bad! Also I think 4 grand for that camper was a great deal.. pretty much all campers RVs roofs end up leaking at some point
your ingenuity is awesome! "problem solved with a BFW" LOL!
Hands down one of your funniest videos. Hope your all doing well sir.
I Just Love your common sense repairs, Keep up your video's PLEASE.....
God bless. Love your family too.
I would suggest a built mud room as a transition between outside and trailer, will certainly cut down on dirt in trailer and you will thank me come winter.
The chickens seem happy!
Great video as usual! 😎 Rolling the pipe out is much better! I'm a electrician and it's the same with rolls of wire... ROLL it out and it's nice and neat and not looking like a string of DNA! 😂

Hey bud, have you thought about doing longer videos here on TH-cam? Lands looking good, y’all stay safe out there brother.
A pony pump or even a pressure tank may give a bit more pressure; but sure you know that. I’m actually from the St Helen area. Love your content by the way.
Andy you always give me a good chuckle
Carry on, young Trooper.
Very nice😊
Calculated heavy mechanical persuasion.
Thank you Andy! Keep up the great work!
As always awesome work bud..
There was a man who had some chickens and Andy was his name oh. Hahaha.
I've been a rv tech for 12 years now. I cringed a lot but I still approve
Bro, I love these videos!!! Great job!!
If all else fails, a carport canopy will work wonders for keeping leaks out of an RV! 😎
Tracer wire. It's great.
The chicken whisperer lol
Love your channel. When’s your next meet and great
When the chickens move in LOL love the vids keep em coming!
13:16 the girls want to take you up on that magic you were talking about....
Didn’t you do all this before complete with a roof at what is now the sawmill?
Is the limp in your step something new? Hasn’t noticed in other videos.
Hey Andy, I’m a retired aircraft mechanic and I think that I could put some wings on that trailer and make it fly…
Great video!
Been watching since Facebook but I've kinda had it with that site
Amdy are there no push fit connectors for pex pipe in your area
I used a belt sander to sand a 3/4 inch crown into a 2x2 and then screwed that up to my camper roof. Took the sag out completely.
Live your life on your tems my friend
So the plan has changed from the chicken *house* to the camper? Or is that just til the *chickens* get their new roost?
Is the camper for you or your wife or visitors?
"What do you want?"
"Corn"
"When do you want it?"
"Now!"
Question...what material/coating are those pex clamps, won't those pex clams rotten beign underground after some time?
The ones I got are stainless steel. Other people said you're supposed to wrap them with silicone tape if you're gonna bury them. I don't know. I'm not a plumber. Lol
Lol..go with God, I guess..lol...big up yourself, all the way from trinidad and tobago 🇹🇹
They are prepared for the chicken war Great General Andy!
That’s definitely a high quality “holding tank”.
"Maybe I'll get made fun of less in the comments"

🤣🤣🤣
Precisely. The system works. Lol
You probably want to built saw horses to support the outer edges of your slides to prevent sagging.
I watch this channel as an example of how not to do things. Please change your channel name to “Andy’s Halfassed Homestead.”
Just kidding. I love yas! ❤
Man that pipe seems kinda small as a feed for multiple outlets but hey i live in new zealand and we use 30mm medium density pipe and we dont have a frost line ether
hows the leg / foot/hip?
Ah andy we make fun of ya cause we love ya😂
Looks like the HOA committee was following me around lol
12days would be a record on our farm lol
Could have tried dowsing for it.
I'm kinda lost on the details for thatvholding tank that's definitely not a septic sytem. Can talk more about what you definitely didn't do?
ermagerd Andy?! you call that flat??? :-) lol looks good from my house ;-) seriously though, it'll work just fine, let her wobble.
amazing what a credit score of 600 will get you these days.
What happened to the chicken house u was building did u finish it wondering why u now have a caravan
Yeah buddy ❤
My chickens and ducks follow me around like dogs too 1 tries laying on my chest while I change oil or work under a vehicle
Man you seemed extra whitty and just even more yourself than usual this video. I've been reading can't hurt me because of you're last video.
I'm glad to hear you say that. The early wake ups and workouts have really put me in a good mental place.
The chicken will be happy in there. With no freaky urologist watching them
Love it😂😂😂
I could probably watch a full video of those chickens following you.
Just and another shim or two to the roof line.
❤❤❤❤
Dang! You fix things like I do! Get a bigger hammer!!!
Job well done 😂😂
Its not breaking stuff its finding weak points?
Did you start drinking again???? 🤔😂😎
Great to see Andy living high on teh hog and farting through silk now.
Chicken whisperer.
Those chicken want their eggs back
What did you do !! Your limping.
Patellar tendinitis. Lol
If you didn't go back to the hardware store at least 3 times, your not pluming
😃
