    Dope vid as always. Just a suggestion... I think it would be cool for you to have a board up with pros and cons of each company. I know that you have videos on each transfer company. But to be able to get all the detailed info in on vid I think would be dope. #KEEPHUSTLING 💪🏽💯

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      thats a good idea but i probably wouldnt make that video. because my "cons" might not be everybodys "cons" and that can potentially hurt somebody's business. and im not in the business to shit on anybody. get me? theres things i like personally about transfer companies and theres things i personally dont like. but if i share those views, it casts a negative light on that company.
      So thats why i share what works for me. cuz if it works for me, it might work for you.

      any company off the list or any company from the sample pack can provide that. or any company mentioned on my channel.
      not sure if you watched the video but i use a few different companies for different reasons. all transfer companies can do single color designs. quality would be based on your idea of "good quality". i would start by ordering samples from whatever company you wanna use and see how the lay down and how the feel and how they wash

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it came with the press. not sure what its really used for but i imagine its to keep the rubber pad in place. thats just my guess. not sure of it really helps to slide shirts on and shit but maybe thats what its for hahahaa

    Love all your videos bro. You got any recommendations on clarity of print and sharpness regarding Good Proof or Hot Split Retro. Recently tried out some hot split retro with smaller text and the ink was really bunched of and some fine detail got a little lost in the print. Probably my fault, need to experiment with the smallest size you can successfully print with using transfers. But in terms of print quality, of the companies you use is there one that's above the rest for single color transfers that'll produce a crisp print even for small details?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      i use hot split for neck labels and thats tiny text. never had any issues. but try goof proof and see if that solves your issue or contact TE and ask them for the allowable line weight and text size they can print.

    • @hausofzeros2015
      @hausofzeros2015 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BigBrandoh Appreciate the response bro. Yea I've seen small text screen printed before so I wasn't sure what the deal was. I did notice that the Goof Proof samples I got looked sharper once later down so I'm going to place an order of Good Proof instead for the new design. Looked at the minimum weight and gap requirements and I should be okay with this new design. Thanks again dude.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i personally never printed my own transfers. so i have no experience in anything like that. i let the professionals print my transfers. haha if i need multi color prints. instead of investing in a printer, i just let supa print them for me with their big ass printer. hahahahaa they can turn around 300 transfers for me in a day, not sure how long it would take for a home printer to spit those out.

    • @UnpopularOpinion42
      @UnpopularOpinion42 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BigBrandoh yea I’m not getting into printing them, but there are people on Facebook that I’m going to send art to and just purchase the transfers from. DTF is too new for any of the big transfer companies to be offering yet. But, from what I’ve seen, better feel than any other full color transfer out there and no clear outline. any transfer company on the List or in my sample pack. minus Supacolor. i personally dont know your budget, how many your ordering, how many colors... so your best bet would be to just check out a few companies and then compare prices. see what works for you. then i would order samples to see how those transfers feel, how they lay down and how they hold up in the wash.

    I am a noob.
    I am getting into printing apparel business, and in need of advice on where to buy blank transfers to print full color designs on jackets, hoodies and t-shirts.
    I am buying 16 x 20 heatpress from Amazon for ~$600, and printer I will be using is color 800w.
    Could you direct me to the supplier/suppliers that I could use?
    I've looked at TKO and it seems that they mail you transfer with printed designs on them, others I can't find to have sizes larger than 12 x 12.
    Thanks in advance

    Bro how do u compete with DTG? My clients are always brining up how their DTG printers doing like $5 for a 2-3 color shirt and all this. Are there any good selling points of plastisol heat transfer vs DTG? Thanks!

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      any time a customer tells me "i can get it cheaper from over here" i just tell them to go over there. im not here to haggle my prices. but i do know and understand what my competition charges. around here. theres no dtg printer that will do one shirt for $5 haha so whoever is your competition out your way charging $5 for 1 shirt. they for sure must be hard up on money and tryna get anything in.
      i have no problem turning away work. if its not profitable for me and my time, i turn it down. Say somebody brings me a 8 color design and they say "how much for 1" i tell them, i cant do that. 8 colors i would talk them into ordering 24. that would be my minimum for a multi color job like that. if they say they dont need 24 they just need 1. i say i cant take that job in. they would have to look else where.

    Question: I have ordered from supacolor however they have been inconsistent with some transfers that has trademark issues. Basically I print t shirts of public figures. Can you please tell me how do I get around this?? Can I print my own transfers? If so where or how do I do this?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if you print shirts for public figures. all you have to do is get written permission (like an email direct from them or letter head from them) from the public figures that gives you the rights to print for them. thats all. done deal.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      but, if you are taking pictures of public figures off of the internet to print. thats illegal. so supacolor will not reproduce any copywritten or trademarked images. that holds them liable as the printer and holds you liable as the decorator and reseller. thats why copyrights and trademarks are here hahahaaa.
      the photographer who shot the picture owns copyrights to the image and the person in the picture owns the TM of his or her profile. you can face legal trouble from both. i've seen it happen a few times.
