I don't think it would dent or.scratch easily, I used nitro lacquer on this, pine is a decent wood, probably just a little softer then poplar that's used by squier alot now. I love pine, the smell while working with it and the woodgrain is always nice to see. Thanks for watching!!!
@@fnaguitarplayer9 True, but Squiers use very fat&hard poly finish:) So even a soft wood there is very well protected. Squier classic vibe tele 50s is made from soft pine, but with a fat poly, its super hard.
Wow, I think it turned out great
Nice Job 👍🏻
Thanks! Thanks for Watching!!!

I think electric guitars made from scrap lumber are pretty cool. I may go see what my local lumber yard has available.
I hear ya, something i wanted to do for a long time thought i'd try it! Thanks for Watching!!!
Sweet tones. Im wondering how fragile is pine body with a nitro finish for a dents and scratches?

That is true, that finish is thick
I would consider it, but I don't know if pine would hold up and resist twisting enough. Thanks for watching!!!
is that pressure treated wood?
No just regular 2x4's, not treated. I don't think treated would take the finish very well. Thanks for Watching!!!
Next build: neck through guitar out of a 4x4
lol I don't think pine would take stress of a neck, usually made of hard woods. cool idea though. Thanks for Watching!!!
Man, you really can't stop talking.
He's narrating his video you ingrate.
Sorry, either details or no details, feel its necessary to explain things, i'll try to cut down on talking. Thanks for Watching!!!
Other guy is obviously in the wrong place. Anything diy should have plenty of talking and details. I for one appreciate the amount of talking you do.
