In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

I do not miss Texas one friggin' bit. Be glad ya got out of there without being shot.
I spent a month in Texas and met the nicest people there. As for the risk of being shot, well that applies to all the states in the USA.
@@onherbike I am glad you did. I have friends there that are seriously getting ready to move to Canada. I worked there for years. And yes. The risk of getting shot in any US State exists. In some states, like TX, the gun violence rate is up to 21% higher than in other states. If TX seceded the US crime rate would immediately drop 16.8%. It is not just poor leadership it is a state of group mindset regressing towards violence as a means to solve anything. Is TX gorgeous? Oh hell yeah! Will I ever visit again? Oh Hell No! LOL

Only thing it ever produced of good quality is Willie Nelson. Maybe a couple of decent pilots...BTW is "Brandon" not "Branden" SMH

I hadn't heard the term dive bar, but I used to go past "Les Verres Stérilisés" in Montréal and thought it was a funny name for a bar. When I looked up dive bar, the first on the list was this bar which is quite old and having a name like "clean glasses" would have been cheeky at the time.
