- Bandera is known as ''The Cowboy Capital of the World," and every year the town hosts a Cowboy Mardi Gras. Thanks to my new friends, I got to experience this Texas-style celebration. Dancing cowboys, colourful beads, and a rodeo-yep, it all happened!

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

The “horse parade” is a trail ride heading to San Antonio for the rodeo.
When are you making it to New Mexico?! The Gila National Forest outside of Truth or Consequences is some of the best riding in the west. The NMOHVA is a great organization to find fellow riders.

Rodeo, an American tradition of celebrating animal abuse. Sad
I have been following you for a long time Kinga.. But showing this segment (at minute 15:23)showing assholes abusing an animal(Rope squeezing the bull's balls causing anger and pain..( just like the macho Bastards in Spain do in order to aggravate the bull).. is totally inhumane and unacceptable. Animal abuse
Yeah. We have this need to hurt and celebrate. We're at the top of the food chain, only checked by competing human beings.
