Our "kids" are 37 and 31. I still love seeing my husband interact with them. To see my eldest (daughter) still pulling the daddy card very effectively, never fails to make me laugh. To see my husband and son together being daddy and grandpa just melts my heart all over again. I love your attitude about being only 2 months in on this life adventure and excited for more!

You guys are really good parents. I was a Mom at 21 and it wasn't easy, but if you have a good support system (which you do) then I think you will skate through the whole of parenthood. There isn't only one right way to parent, you have to do whatever works for you and however you feel God is leading you to raise your child. You're only 2 months in and already you have a system down, you're thinking of things that will help make it easier for you .. give yourself a pat on the back, you're doing great! 👪

My mom is still going and present (she had me young) and my husbands mom had him same age as us and the difference is insane... I do pray most days I can be there for my kids even tho we waited.. ❤

A sighed prayer means just as much to the Father,I believe, when He looks down and sees you feeding your baby and sighing a prayer up. I've been there many times. With the whole age of becoming parents my parents had their oldest child at 23 years old and they got married when they were 21. I think that it is better to have kids young because then when you're 40 you can have all the freedom you want and you can have energy as grandparents to keep up with the grand kids. That's the way that my parents looked at it. My parents are the best parents ever and I think ya'll will be too.

I wanted to pause real quick and comment. Mal just said she loves being a mom and parenting with Cam and when he holds her or basically when he's in active daddy mode she gets googly eyes. I agree 100%. There is nothing sexier then watching my man be a dad. And play with our son and push the stroller on our walks. Everything. You both are kicking butt at being parents. I appreciate you showing the harder moments of having a newborn because not all newborns are easy and just sleep or cam self soothe. My son cried just to cry sometimes. Hes 3 will be 4 in October but from like 2 months until probably 4 and half, 5 months he just wanted to be held and wanted to cry. I took him to the Dr. like there has to be something wrong with him. His Dr. told us he's the male form of a diva and he'll faze out of that. I know for us those were in the dead of winter days so we couldn't just go for a walk and then when thr weather wasn't freezing covid hit. I'm talking quarantine just happened and a mask wasn't a requirement yet. And he's just a little guy I didn't want to catch it and give it to him. Anyway it will get better. You will get more confidence in your parenting because you'll find out what works for your little girl. Keep your heads up. Ok enough rambling from me. My apologies. If you read this far thank you for reading. ❤❤❤
I think you guys are amazing parents you’re very smart doing a portion of your income for the baby because the baby is in your videos and also I don’t know why people are in this new mindset of being young parents is a bad thing that was very normal 10-15 years ago if you were born in the 80s or 90s it was very normal to start having kids 19 to 25. I had my first child at 22 and that was on the older end of normal at that time and I am not even 40 yet
Being parents is tough. I actually appreciate you guys showing that it is not sunshine and rainbows everyday. Its hard but rewarding. Also I would look into having a midwife and doula, then going to a birth center (with a tub for water birth, just cuz you have much more control on movements and environment isnt as chaotic as hospitals) instead of a hospital. Could ease your anxiety and its just as safe as a hospital. I would recommend a home birth but thats a big leap if you are anxious of a rough labor again.
I don't know how anyone could think that either one of y'all are older than you are. If anything, you both look younger than you are. Y'all are both amazing parents and an amazing couple. The baby weight comment was rude. But you were definitely spot on with your answer. It can even be different for the same person with different pregnancies. My first daughter I lost all the baby weight before she was even a month old, and my second daughter it took me a while to get back down to pre-baby weight. Everyone is different, and that's okay. I feel age doesn't matter when becoming parents.. It's more about maturity and if you're emotionally and financially ready. I'm a single mom by choice and I had my boy at 31 (just before turning 32), I was only ready at that time. My sister had her oldest at 17 and she's an amazing mom, I definitely wouldn't have been able to do it at that age. People always say "you're too young or too old to become a parent".. But age doesn't mean much...

You are a great mommy and daddy! As a first time mom (although our LO isn’t so little anymore she is 29 months 😮) expose her to those noises lights and sounds while she naps in the day! Daddy making some noise is ok! It’ll make life easier as a toddler parent trust me! 😂

You are a great mommy and daddy! As a first time mom (although our LO isn’t so little anymore she is 29 months 😮) expose her to those noises lights and sounds while she naps in the day! Daddy making some noise is ok! It’ll make life easier as a toddler parent trust me! 😂
Also I’m 45 and everyone thinks I’m too old to be a first time mama so everyone has opinions of age. You do you!
