I used an Adamant Garchomp with Rough skin ability. 252 Attack and 252 Defence. Shell bell held item. Earthquake and Swords Dance were enough. And it helps to have a support Pokemon with the Intimidate ability.
Yeap - shiny Garchomp evolved from its gible stage, caught on the first day of Scarlet and violet's release from a raid. I screamed so loud when I spotted it, I swear the whole street heard me xD

I succeeded with this specific build, but there's a few things to keep in mind: - Use PP Up on Earthquake to play it safe - You want an Intimidate NPC - Flare Blitz can Burn you. If this happens too often, your damage will be too low and you may run out of time - Start with 3 Earthquake to build up tera charge. Then Terastallize and EQ again to regain health through Shell Bell, or Bulk Up if Emboar reset your stats and your HP is good (>60%) - Once Terestallized, alternate Earthquake and Bulk Up to keep HP in a healthy spot. Make sure that Emboar has reset your stats before Bulking Up. Bulk up 5-6 times - Heal Cheer if affected by Burn - Attack Cheer if you have sufficient Cheers remaining and the tera shield is down or about to go down. It will help greatly to damage through Emboar's Bulk Ups - Earthquake until you win
I got a surprisingly good set with Rhyperior 252 ATK/ 252 DEF/ 6 HP Held Item: Shell Bell Ability: Solid Rock Attacks: Curse, Earthquake, Breaking Swipe First 3 turns, use Breaking Swipe to reduce Emboar's Atk stat while building up Terastalization. After it nullifies our stats, don't terastalize right away. Instead, focus on using Curse. Since Rhyperior's weak to Fighting-type attacks, Emboar will only use Drain Punch which, due to Solid Rock, is weaker than a neutral, Reckless boosted Flare Blitz. Terastalize after either maxing out on Curse or health is no low for comfort and need to heal with shell bell, then continue using Curse. Once maxed out, proceed to attack Emboar with Earthquakes. For added measure, use Go All Out cheer and/or Breaking Swipe after breaking the shield for when Emboar uses Bulk Up.
Swampert 252 atk 252 def; remaining EV’s in HP Earthquake(max PP), Bulk Up, Chilling Water, Rock Smash(optional, will not need) Ground Tera, Impish nature, Shell Bell
Remaining starters for 7 Stars Raids : - Gen 2 : Feraligatr - Gen 3 : Sceptile - Gen 4 : Torterra, Infernape - Gen 5 : Serperior - Gen 7 : Incineroar Feraligatr will be scary because of Sheer Force + SD/DD Torterra will be scary if it has Shell Smash. Also, it will have Shell Armor, which means you can't crit it. Infernape is honestly one of the scariest, Iron Fist + SD/BU + Drain Punch/Mach Punch + Fire Punch + Thunder Punch Serperior, Contrary + Leaf Storm + Glare, enough said I don't expect Sceptile to be too difficult, but it's worth noting it can boost itself with SD Incineroar can also boost itself with either BU or SD and it has Will-O-Wisp and Snarl so it could be tricky.
I used a Ceruledge (Tera Ground), with Tera Blast, Swords Dance, Bitter Blade, Iron Defense, Metronome Item, Max HP and Def EVs and the Flash Fire ability. Also needs two Intimidaters (Arcanine is great for an extra Burn Chance) and either Arboliva or Gardevoir (for Healing). First Turn Iron Defense, then chase tera with Bitter Blade. Use Iron Defense when Stats get reset. Tera ASAP and then go for 3 Sword Dances. After that, it's just tera blast spam. Tried it 6 times, and every time the counter is at at least 30% time remaining.
Arceus ground worked for me Modest - 252 special Attack - 252 defence Acid spray Iron defence Recover Judgment You only really come unstuck to very clutch crits, otherwise it’s smooth sailing
I used Therian Landorus, It was quite fun to think about the build myself and use a Legendary Pokemon since they are usually collecting dust in my save files lol
Yeah, I like this Ursaluna build for it. Just swept it quickly. And got so many as shiny thanks to Teddiursa/Ursaring outbreaks n all (even some from PkmnGo) and a friend with pla
Might be an idea to share Raid Power sandwich recipes too for people wanting to farm HM 🙂 For electric, it's: ・ Cheese ・ Avocado ・ Basil ・ Cream Cheese ・ Pepper ・ Salt
Ursaluna doesn't need Drain Punch. Drain Punch is 75 BP. Super-Effective STAB Earthquake is 300 BP. Shell Bell heals 1/8 HP. Drain Punch heals 1/2 HP. 75×1/2=37.5. 300×1/8=37.5. Basically with Shell Bell Earthquake you'll deal 4x more damage while getting the same amount of recovery as using Drain Punch without Shell Bell.
I know a lot of people don't realize it, but you can catch the tera Ursaring in Paldea or from a 4 star raid and port to Arceus to evolve, then port back. If you're like me and want one in any ball other than that time traveling ball mons get going to or from Arceus. Doing that also cuts down on the amount of hypertraining you'll need if you don't have many bottle caps since it'll come with 3 max IVs. Not to toot my own horn, but I feel like this Ursaluna build is based on the rough one I posted to a few video comments and anonymously on Game8 last week (which is still not in their list of counters). So it's nice to see a better version getting highlighted by someone that frequently makes these sorts of videos. Of course I wasn't studying stats to get the right speed IVs for going before Emboar, and I spent that first minute playing with Charm and building tera charge. I also didn't highlight Guts because I didn't get burned any time I ran the raid so it completely slipped my mind. Also dunno why I was using High Horsepower and not Earthquake, maybe I was thinking it would hit teammates like normal battles since I never use it in raids and didn't know. But before I posted anything anywhere I wasn't seeing anyone talk about using it, everyone was all over the other mons. I wanted to use my own build/strat without using what others posted online, so I went with the huggable dirt bear.
I personally use Quagsire with an Adamant Nature, max EVs in ATK and DEF, Unaware ability, with the moves Earthquake/High Horsepower/Curse/Recover It's much slower than other builds, but I find it to be the most consistent for me
Yes, you just wouldn’t have access to the guts ability. Which in my opinion isn’t needed since the burn status will be all rng chance. Minds eye is pretty useless in this raid as well. Defensively Bloodmoon Ursaluna could do it.
@ashmartin19 I find a lot of players have a "if it works in Solo, it works online" mindset, eventually ending raids in the process. A few well trained mon are the exception, but the rest are a rough carry
If Bloodmoon can get all the moves, go for it. But remember this relies on having Belly Drum, which this bear line only gets from breeding or using the Mirror Herb trick. Since Bloodmoon can't breed I don't know if it can, but I haven't tested that.
@@link3895bloodmoon ursaluna is also more of a special attacker, so it won't get nearly as much benefit from bellydrum as regular ursaluna. It doesn't have access to the guts ability, either.
For the love of all of Arceus' gifts, please don't blindly throw Ursaluna into this online without drain punch! He's a precious teddibear that needs his healing!

Well technically drain punch also heals the 1/8 extra hp of the damage delt, but ur right
The usage of Drain punch is avoid it shields up too early while still healing good amount of health back. When it shield up, EQ won’t heal much.
Guts ability wont trigger unless burned
