@Osirus you know I’m still going for Shiny Entei or Shiny Raikou as roamers in Heart Gold. Have been for months now. I’m not sure if it bodes well that both of those are shinies you failed, but I’ll never give up!
Ironically, this was me about a week before the Shiny Rayquaza raid ..going back to play Pokémon shield and trying to get it from the Max lair den 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
I hate that game freak shiny locked the legendary pokemon in SV. It’s clear that they would rather us buy raid passes to shiny hunt the legendaries in pokemon Go. What a disgrace…
Plus don’t forget that they have or used to have a real time event where you could go to someplace like GameStop and get it there but as of basically the end of 2024 it seems they are keeping them shiny locked forever 😢😢😢 and yeah WTF were they thinking when they thought of this
I dont mind Dynamax adventures. It keeps my hands busy and isn't completely mindless, but I know it's not for everyone. I was dreading farming shiny Zygarde and was speechless when i got it on my 1st time beating it. While there are other fights that are obnoxious not needing to farm zygarde was a huge relief.
Shiny Zygarde on your first encounter is incredible, massive congrats on that. I still have to finish my Zygarde hunt I think I’m nearly 100 encounters so hopefully it shows up soon 😅

Dynamax Adventures was the reason why I have over 1700 hours logged to Sword. It was a good way to farm with just a click of a button but it drove me insane. But my most insane run came during the pandemic when I once caught shiny Palkia, Lunala and Yvetal all in the same day. After that, it was just one long dry spell for a while.
I can so relate to that feeling…but even though a while ago massive congrats on the three shinies in one day that’s absolutely incredible hope that luck returns soon for you ✨

43:10 - I feel this pain, a year or two ago I did this very same challenge, except with every single legendary pokemon and ultra beast in the franchise. Solgaleo, Lunala and Necrozma are still the only ones I am missing due to the sheer horrible mechanics of the Dynamax Adventure Raids. I was so sad to see everything still being shiny locked in scarlet and violet as I was hoping to at least get those 3, if not also the sword and shield shiny locks (I do not count the Pokemon Go shinies or event ones as I want mine to be caught from a main series game). One day....
Incredible effort. I’ve only shiny hunted two legendaries so far - Rayquaza and Arceus - so satisfying when they appear but my goodness what a mindless grind it is!
My best guess is that they believed 1/300 were already pretty good odds. Then they realized the speed of getting encounters to begin with and decided it would be better to get the charm too.

Pretty impressive hunt u did, but can you tell me how many hours in total did u put in? also what tool do you use to count the encounters? thks and keep it up, u're a huge help in making this community so special
@@andreapicci8015 thanks so much Andrea, for a counter I have it a little easier than most as I use my stream deck with its counter function in obs so I can just hit a button every reset I do to keep track, in the past before I had this I’d use the calculator on my phone with just a simple 1+1 formula then hitting the equal sign every reset to keep track, I’m not 100% sure but I think there are programmes online to help do a similar thing that you can also run on your pc. The hunt in total was over 300 hours the exact number I’m not sure of I’d have to go back through all he footage to find out but i started this in March this year and finished in early September. Good luck with your hunts I hope everything you chase down shines early for you! Keep me updated with your progress ✨✨

Only just finished a 4096 Zekrom hunt on Alpha Sapphire a week ago after 8,873 resets. Must be something about that Pokémon that's just cursed to go long 😂 This was a fun adventure to watch. A welcome bit of variety

Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon gives the best odds for shiny legendaries in terms of time efficiency. I am hunting a set of all legendaries right now. (I am also 41/47 on Dynamax Adventures right now) Great video as always. Thanks mate
Your right the base odds for all wormhole legendarys is 1/4096 :) just as I had the shiny charm already in these games my odds were enhanced to 1/1365. Thanks so much for the comment and kind words 🙏🙏
My first ever shiny legendary was Entei in Soul Silver after i restarted it for the 2nd time because i was bored and wanted to play through the story again. Best and most unexpected moment in my life! 2nd shiny legendary was Ho-Oh in the max raids.
Me: “Ha!! Those are rookie numbers! I’ve SR’ed close to 48,000 times in total Shiny hunting every available legendary and ultra beast (except for Stakataka and Blachepalon) in USUM!”
Picked up a 2DS and a copy of Ultra Moon recently, mostly because I hadn't played the Ultra games before and I wanted to get the console again. Wormholes just feel so much more fun than DMax Adventures, sorry SwSh, odds are great, but I do not particularly want to be spending 20 minutes on average for a check when I can get significantly more than that in older games.
Yeah just save in front of the encounter spot, encounter then reset if not the shiny and repeat until you find it, GL with the hunts if you take any on ✨✨
Ok, at 39:55 the entei hurt me as well. I’m just now putting together that you failed both entei and Raikou and I’m hunting for those same pokemon (albeit in HG) This does not bode well.
I would say: 1. Get all the RBY legendaries with the exploit used to get the shiny Mew. 2. Get everything else in ultra sun/moon. 3. All that isn't available in option 1 and 2, get it from Sword/Shield. 4. Good luck.
Well i never got transporter so as long as i can hunt it on the 3ds games forward i can get them. So i dont think i can get the shiny galarian birds cus i never got them from the reward. I do have the shiny sword and shield legends tho i wish there was a spot to catch them cus id prefer to catch my shinies in a specific ball rather than have them in a cherish ball through an event
@@TheJetsetter you can, they closed the online services but Pokemon have kept Pokemon transfer and Pokemon bank active. We don’t have a date for its closure yet but it’s something they advised will come at some point in the future.
Oof… I was considering trying to hunt for some of these, but Dynamax Adventures feels awful to play. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to make it to the last room.
You should try and find some folks in our discord to do Dynamax raids adventures online, they are so much easier and quicker when doing them with actual people :) good luck if you decide to shiny hunt them
Back when we were playing Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, I encountered the Reshiram in Omega and wasn't shiny hunting at all. But the 1st time I encountered it, it happened to be shiny and I didn't even know it until way after I caught it..Didn't know what the shiny looked like at the time and the only thing that tipped me off was the red star on the summary screen indicating that the pokemon was shiny.. I couldn't believe it.
haha yeah I love BDSP but I couldn't bring myself to hunt anything in those games the reset times is just so long, I am still to hunt Arcues there as well.....

It IS a Shield exclusive but can obtained in Sword through the internet.
And if you have a friend with shield you can join them In a raid, which is what I'm planning on

I did this saaaame thing lol. I spent 5 months hunting all the shiny legends in USUM
OMG Zapdos gave me a hell of a time as well! I dont count my encounters but on average 1-3 hrs a day, took me 4 weeks.
Congrats on finally getting the shiny bird, the pain of ultra wormhole hunts going over odds is never fun 😅

Yeah just save in front of the encounter spot, encounter then reset if not the shiny and repeat until you find it, GL with the hunts if you take any on ✨✨

They also had mystery gift events in SwSh but as they weren’t able to be caught in the indigo disk they never made the list, great shinies though

Ok, at 39:55 the entei hurt me as well. I’m just now putting together that you failed both entei and Raikou and I’m hunting for those same pokemon (albeit in HG) This does not bode well.

I feel that Entei fail, I’ve made the same mistake with Giratina and Yveltal, I reclaimed them eventually, but those stung
I would say:
1. Get all the RBY legendaries with the exploit used to get the shiny Mew.
2. Get everything else in ultra sun/moon.
3. All that isn't available in option 1 and 2, get it from Sword/Shield.

Well i never got transporter so as long as i can hunt it on the 3ds games forward i can get them. So i dont think i can get the shiny galarian birds cus i never got them from the reward. I do have the shiny sword and shield legends tho i wish there was a spot to catch them cus id prefer to catch my shinies in a specific ball rather than have them in a cherish ball through an event

@@TheJetsetter you can, they closed the online services but Pokemon have kept Pokemon transfer and Pokemon bank active. We don’t have a date for its closure yet but it’s something they advised will come at some point in the future.

Oof… I was considering trying to hunt for some of these, but Dynamax Adventures feels awful to play. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to make it to the last room.
You should try and find some folks in our discord to do Dynamax raids adventures online, they are so much easier and quicker when doing them with actual people :) good luck if you decide to shiny hunt them
Back when we were playing Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, I encountered the Reshiram in Omega and wasn't shiny hunting at all. But the 1st time I encountered it, it happened to be shiny and I didn't even know it until way after I caught it..Didn't know what the shiny looked like at the time and the only thing that tipped me off was the red star on the summary screen indicating that the pokemon was shiny.. I couldn't believe it.

Bdsp soft resets and da legit made me crazy in the head I absolutely hate doing those 2 methods but only way to get shiny legendaries on switch
haha yeah I love BDSP but I couldn't bring myself to hunt anything in those games the reset times is just so long, I am still to hunt Arcues there as well.....
