I love Mia at 12:29 being like 'excuse me who said you could stop petting me'
Just love Mia. She's really 'there"...
Beautiful tree! I love a tree full of memories of life. Everyone of my ornaments has something attached to it, and now I decorate it and sit back and smile, and maybe shed a tear at everything. Isn't this the best time for old and new memories.
Love your tree. Many years ago we bought a hanging angel for the tree and over the years she has fallen apart. Now one of us hides the separate arms, body and head on the tree which we have to search for. My husband hid the angel yesterday and I have only found the arms so far. I wouldn’t mind but it’s a tiny tree!
Love multi-color tree lights! We've also had them ever since I was a child.
I love my Bosch!
We bought a new fridge, washer and dryer this weekend. Long story...
Always love multicoloured Christmas lights and always will, must be a 70's 80's and 90's kids thing 🙈 loving watching vlogmas crocheting and knitting a dozen and one things one of them is crochet paper chains 🧶
Beautiful dishwasher. I have that one and absolutely love it. 🥰 love the shawl choice
We have a Bosch dishwasher and it's still going strong after 13 years.
Our “Not our Cat” came into the backyard after being missing for about a month and a half. He was starving, I gave home a bowl of food and then off he went. But at least I know he still ok!
We've had our Bosch dishwasher for about 15 years, it's been brilliant, never had a problem with it 😊
Tree, ornaments and lights are beautiful. Looks like the Christmas season has started.
We have had our Bosch for several years. It is a great dishwasher😊 I think you will love it too! Thank you for sharing your Christmas with us! It has been so nice to see and “open” your advents with you❤❤
It’s always coloured lights on our little tree! Glad you’re pleased with your new dish washer. Take care xx
Mia looks so attentive. I think k she things all the talk is for her. 😂
We have a Bosch dishwasher for several years. It is quiet. We haven't had any issues with it.
Happy Vlogmas Ali, and Happy Holidays.
We have a Bosch dishwasher as well- it’s fantastic. It is 9 years old and going strong! One repair that wasn’t too expensive and back at it.
I agree with you. I always liked the colored lights better. Have been enjoying your vlogmas so much. I haven't been commenting lately. Guess I've been lazy but I am always so excited to see a vlog from you and your family any day of the year. Also enjoy your crocheting, knitting channel since I always have a crocheting or knitting project in my hands the minute I sit down. Also do many other crafts but those are the favorites.
I'm in love with those Blue Fern Yarns, the moodiness of those colours 😍 (Also love Mia, she is so sweet, your not-your-cat 😂)
Did you put your Christmas Eve box under that gorgeous tree? It is funny how much a tree just brings in the Christmas magic!
Hi Ali. Your tree is lovely. Hope the new dishwasher lasts longer than the last one. x
So do I 😅
Ooh a book nook, very exciting, I love miniature things.
right lets stop right here at 2.29, that shawl, its the only pattern my mither could ever crochet and she made beautiful baby angel tops in it, I however cannot crochet a stitch, thank you for sharing this memory with me
I enjoyed Richard Coles's books as well, even if they're not the best books ever they still seem to draw you in. He also did something with Mark Gatiss for BBC radio a few years ago, and it's still on BBC sounds, 'Hunting Ghosts with Gatiss and Coles'. I enjoyed listening to that too, a spooky tale for a winter evening.
I look forward to seeing your Ziggy wrap and Just Feel Festive shawl take shape. Your home looks very festive and cozy. How sweet is Mia? You stopped patting her and she turned her head to your hand as if to say, "Why are you stopping?" She is a beautiful cat, she looks quite regal at times. ❤
I love your multi-colored lights on your tree. I have gone with white the last few years and I do miss the colour. I might switch back next year. I loved Mia sitting there beside you as you were chatting. So cute!
Ooo, exciting. We just gave our daughter the owl bookshop for her birthday. It's utterly gorgeous. She loved making it. Enjoy.
Hi Ali loving vlogmas they are my oasis of calm x
Morning Ali,,,,
🎉🎉lovely dishwasher,,,
🎉sweet start to ur shawl,,
Love playing with color
ELAINE 🏠💗
I love Mia, she is so cute, may we see the chooks too please? I watched this while taking a break from cleaning the kitchen, and you've reminded me I ought to put up the Christmas decorations before my mother and sister arrive. I did some knitting on a gift knit while I watched too. Lovely and cozy. Can't wait to see the book nook construction, my aunt loves making those!
of course! I haven't introduced the chooks in vlogmas yet - Peggy is moulting 😅 I will do so on day 11 :) xx
Hi Ali, I love your colourful tree with all the collective decorations from over the years. 🎄 Never had a dishwasher, my husband is “The Dishwasher” 😅 we don’t have the space for one, but we have other Bosch appliances and they have been very good up to now. Dan’s a whizz at Lego 👌 see you tomorrow, Love & hugs Suze. 🎄🐈❤ xxx
I also have a new-ish Bosch dishwasher. It's so quiet! We have colored lights on the tree. We had them when I was growing up. A real tree with hot big bulbs that had foil reflectors to keep them from burning the tree down - they were very hot if you touched them. So glad to have cool LED ones now. Merry times!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Your shawl is going to be so pretty! My Christmas tree has an assortment of different ornaments.
Looking really Christmassy now 🌲 I’ve ordered one of Rev Richard’s books on eBay as I found him fascinating in the jungle and want to try one of his books 😊
Cute tea mug! Also, Ginger Peach sounds tea-lightful 😁 good on you for getting a new appliance!!! I get you on the hard water thing 😒 totes not easy on the hands! That's when my cousin's balm comes in handy!
The Ziggy Shawl looks fun! Makes me want to make one in Ziggy Stardust colors 😍 love the cute little gnomes! My mom loves colored lights too, she puts them on every year 😄 Nice tree!!! Love seeing ur family decorating together! That stocking is so Charlie Brown vibes 🤣
Ok, im gonna have to start myself up a fund jar for the CURATED yarn co..🥲💗
I finished up knitting my mom's hat, she loves it!
Omg, can't WAIT to see how ur book nook turns out! I want to try one so bad!!
I love how loving ur cat is 😄💗
Tickled for you to have a Bosch. The tree is lovely and the house is looking festive!! The chicken ornaments is top notch. 🎄🧑🏻🎄🎄
I like the top cutlery tray on the Bosch so much more than the cutlery basket models - I'd never go back 😄
I like Reverend Richard Cole not listened YET to any of his books ones for future listens there is something so genuine about him & in I’m a celeb his friendship with GK Barry was so good to see developing
Gold star ⭐️ for you for actually reading the manual. I likely underuse most of our appliances bc I’m very lax about that job. 😉
I'm absolutely loving the vlogs! Very excited to see the book nook set up, they're so pretty. They look so nice slotted in between books but my bookshelf is already crammed to the rafters lol. I'm a dog person but Mia is the cutest little thing ever 🥰
Ali, did you know there is a lego set for a Christmas wreath? Just saw an ad for it, thought Dan would like it.
We have had our Bosch for a few years (3 maybe) and we love it. Does a very good job cleaning and the filter is easy to pop out and clean. (Our last one you had to take the motor apart to clean the filter. Who thought THAT was a good idea????)
Ginger peach ..... yummy!
I have enjoyed your Vlogmas vlogs. It wouldn't be Christmas season without them.
I said to my hubby, after doing the tree, every bauble is a memory. So wonderful ❤
Bosch is phenomenal. We've been through a few. My husband gets the message when the dishwasher let's him know the cycle is complete.
I must have been very unlucky, my Bosch dishwasher only lasted a couple of years, I had nothing but trouble with it. It was eventually replaced but I didn’t choose a Bosch!!!xx
Your tree is looking ace
We always had colored lights too ❤
Gosh Lillia has me singing (sort of😂) It's vlogmas It's vlogmas It's vlogmas❤ She had encouraged me and now I am looking for little fun gifts🎉🎉🎉 and lights too! Blessings to each and every one!
Love Richard Coles books, I got the Christmas book in an independent shop in Abergavenny after saying I was not buying any but it was a signed copy. There is the recipe for Audrey's Bread Sauce at the end but need Mace for it. Loving your blogs as always.
For some reason YT didn’t showcase this vlog to me despite it having posted and for a short while I didn’t know what to do with myself 😅😂 I’ve been following along each morning with my coffee while I make sure my teenager is up & getting ready for school. 😊 Your tree is lovely & cheerful I grew up with white lights so that’s what we go for (this year I had to replace them and went for led… not loving it as much as the traditional bulbs they are more yellow and a bit too bright. They also have a scattering of dual bulbs that shift from warm to cool tone. It looks very nice from a distance (I admire it when I’m unloading the groceries from the car and glance in the front window 😂) but it’s a bit too flashy when I’m seated next to it on the couch. ::sigh:: It feels a little too early to start watching absolute favorite festive films so I’ve been browsing streaming services (and YT) for things to watch & yesterday on Hulu (unsure if that’s available to you in the UK?) there was a film adapted from a book that made me think of you & my dear friend Melissa who passed away coming on 2 years ago in January 😞 it’s titled The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland and it was very cute. I loved the illustration/animation style (the elves & reindeer are so adorable & I love the March hare & the bandersnatch is absolutely adorable I love him/them so much 🥺🥹 I want a plushy to cuddle 😂😅) it had just the right level of humor. According to Google it’s supposed to be released in the UK this Friday (13th) on SkyCinema? Idk if you subscribe to that but I’d recommend giving it a watch if you hadn’t already planned to.
I love my bosch dishwasher ❤❤ they are fab. Used the same setting for years. 😂
Love the tree..all sparkly an festive
I was wait for a homemade ornament.
I dislike getting new appliances they seem to get more complicated. Just give me an on & off button that’s all I need lol
Dearest Mia…. I actually thought that was a fur collar on your coat until you mentioned it was Mia having a snooze! 😂😂😂
A couple of good Vlogmases: The Botanical Knitter out of the midwest USA and MadeByMoomeeno out of Germany but originally from Wales. Lots of interesting local traditions.
Thank you for the recommendations as I’m really enjoying MadeByMoomeeno and looking forward to watching The Botanical Knitter. Oh dear more time spent watching a screen rather than doing things !!
If you start your book nook you are not going to walk😂😊
Vlogmas The highlight of my day. We are experiencing freezing rain some snow and cold cold cold This is Canada after all 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Your tree is beautiful! 💕🎄
Does Mia leave it alone when she’s visiting?
This is my first Christmas with Cammy and I’m not trusting her with a full size tree. 😂
I am the dishwasher never had one..Funny but when u washing dishes nobody bothers you because they r afraid u would ask them to help lol
Take care.
Where do you get your lovely oilcloth tablecloths? I have a very hard time finding them in the US and when I do they are very expensive.
Hi Kitty kitty. Merry Christmas.
Ziggy shawl is gorgeous.
Lovely Mia ❤
After years of watching my husband "fix'" my appliances when they've broken i now pay for a warranty with all of them! And he isn't allowed to touch them if they go on the blink! 😂
Haha, I have got the five year warranty this time too! x
@ThisLittleWonderfulLife very wise 🤣🤣 He is a master craftsman at taking things apart and a toddler when it comes to putting them back together 🤣🤣🙈🤦♀️He is now on a lifetime ban! Lol xx
How did Dan get on with the lego Land Rover? Xx
Ali I bet you will love this! Bbc archive 1964 Shetland shawl...... Not just Ali all take a peek only 9 mins long👍
Go rogue Ali, make "Noel" Leon" and confuse the family lol.
Has Dan seen the poinsettia set of legos?
💛💛💛
Ah yes, Mia is definitely a lady who lunches 😂
❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
Fellow Richard Coles fan - but his murder books, well, I think he keeps forgetting that there is supposed to be a murder. I keep going though, as I feel a really good one is going to emerge yet. His non fiction book "The Madness of Grief" is in a different league. Beautiful, raw and moving.
Get some help with housework 😊
