yea man I would love to hear the whole story of the storyline cause I am finding reading all of the broken appart stuff on the website really unapproachable to pull together myself

As someone who is basically new to the game and only has limited knowledge of the lore from some cards and off-hand comments from other players, it was really cool to hear it all layed-out so succinctly. Also really loved that you managed to tie other areas into this video. More lore videos would be much appreciated!
The only thing better than FaB's gameplay is the actual lore. They're weaving and building up such an incredible tale and I can't wait to see where it takes us and the game over the next few years.

I really enjoy playing Iyslander, but have been trying so many different heroes lately and feeling no direction, I have not delved into the lore...until this video. I now have direction. I want to be the best Iyslander player possible, I love this story! I also have an interest in Shiyana and will be looking into playing her in the blitz format. Awesome video! I don’t think you can group Viserai with Chane & Levia. They have closen their path, while Viserai seems to have largely been a pawn to powers outside his control, that he has only just broken free from. I feel very strongly that Viserai’s power (or specifically the power of the Arknight Shard) was used by the Demonastry residents to open the gateway, without his knowledge/consent. I fully expect to see a redemption arc story line for him in the not too distant future…
Question do you have any storytime videos explaining FAB lore from the very beginning because idk where to even start with learning about the lore of this absolutely amazing game…
It’s also worth mentioning that most Drachi don’t use Aether. Their fire magic comes from their ‘dragon blood’ ancestory. (See Kano’s story). That would make Iyslander like Kano, as 2 of the very few from Volcor who can use Aether
I think, their innate fire ability is indeed granted by blood lines, but it still aether magic. They just have aether affinity because of their blood. And of course, they don't use the aether consciously, but some of the wizards are able to imbue their magic with arcane. In Kano hero story you can see that because of aether disturbances, the fire magic is harder to cast, which indicates that it is indeed related to aether.
So.... are they ever doing paperbacks? why even get invested if they don't think it's good enough of a story to print on paper? I can do print on demand, what is their excuse? It's extremely easy to print and distribute books now for cheap, even for them. Cool world but evidently they don't think so, gives the impression that the lore is just throwaway nonsense to give cards context and nothing else
