Due to your comment, I just listened to all the songs again while reading the lyrics, and this blew my mind: The first words are referring to tropes in each of the girl's songs. "Blooming red" - Sakuya's Cherry Blossoms "The watch's needles" - Hilda's Ice World "Piece of the moon" - Popo's Rusty Key "the crying of fear is a lullaby" - Mordimort's Reddened Galaxy Just cannot really connect Lisette to "The Rose Flower", but the other four are fitting too well to be coincidence. There's always some gore-y stuff coming right after, so my guess is those are curses depicting what she is trying to do to all of them, repectively...
My favorite song in this game and that’s tough because this game has amazing music. I couldn’t believe how beautiful this was when I got to that fight.
Behold, the better final boss: Cartesia has a better presentation and the whole "Lv.99" thing is imponent at first, but once you understand what you have to do in order to win, it becomes an extremely boring battle that lasts forever in spite of how easy it is. Eve on the other hand, has you on your toes all the time thanks to her more threatening attack range and her turns coming a lot faster than usual. Also, changing mode is an interesting gimmick that forces you to approach this battle in different ways depending on the situation (her changing to defense against neutral attacks will definitely frick you up unless you have managed to keep your witches alive for that long).
Yami no Mukou (Beyond Darkness) Translated Kuroyuri pierced by repentance, hope, nonsense Blooming red, finger snapped broken, trampling dark footsteps The watch's needles, decapitated head, the maelstrom of laughter and Piece of the moon, twisted position, insides gathered up The rose flower, the soot-dirtied "It" that exists only in shape Both hate and sadness are inside the cradle; the crying of fear is a lullaby They intersect under the red moon, drowning under the sea of evil never to be saved If there is no resistance to the bloodshed, let out voices of prayer Falling blue, hanged man, sliced words of malice Spiral wound, glare of disdain, lump of desire Light of day, desired lie, smashed up mask The sound of waves smeared in the ostentation of "It" A counting song, voices of battle, the birdcage spinning under the name of evil Beg inside the sweet dream, licking lips at the seven deadly sins If there is no resistance to the dried blood, I am now Salvation The voice that fills the emptiness is a scream And the squashed eyeballs cannot see anything DIE Singing is done under the crimson moon and if the stomach and neck are cut open, The remaining blood is truth, deception; let death be salvation Truth Deception Die Repentance Hope Nonsense Truth Deception Kuroyuri

Just imagine Eve as well as Nightmare Eve aka Caresia (it’s what I like calling her) in MUGEN, it would be a tough boss fight for sure. I wanna see Rick Sanchez facing her.
I wonder why the version on the physical OST CD was 11.25 minutes long, and this is only 5.48 minutes long. Anyway, I have a doll with a Bluetooth speaker and was looking for the full version to put on for Halloween. I guess I'll just rip the CD version.
Despite the inherent creepiness, there’s such a powerful loneliness present throughout.
Definitely a Nightmare Lullably. Gets fucking awesome eventually. Perfect final battle theme that takes place in a nightmare.
This song is so great. Especially the part where she whispers and then laughs. An unexpectedly adorable yet still fitting boss theme.
The beginning gives me nightmares
Starlin M00N you should really read the translation ( as I remember its so creepy )

Starlin M00N Rose is Lisette's mother, so that's possibly the reason
But her name is ROSA, not Rose.
Such a great song, that I'll never hear in game because LEVIA all the time
I felt that.
Ngl back when I played this game I also spammed Levia, song wise I like To the Sea more but Levia's effects were too good to pass up
Same. One or two turns after this Song was played I used Levia to get HP and SP back
Levia was great but I like Reddened Galaxy in cases where I don't need the team wide healing/ailment cure.
Thank you TH-cam for reminding me this perfection. 😊
Yui Horie did an amazing job singing this

Re listening to all the music from this game and so sad cuz this could have been a great anime

Most of My party wiped out next turn she would obliterate me.
Dorothy: GIGA DRILL BREAKER!!!
Just saying, Looks like this song's name is "Yami no Mukou" which i have been told, translated as something like "Beyond darkness"
Correct translation
Yami no Mukou (Beyond Darkness) Translated
Kuroyuri pierced by repentance, hope, nonsense
Blooming red, finger snapped broken, trampling dark footsteps
The watch's needles, decapitated head, the maelstrom of laughter and Piece of the moon, twisted position, insides gathered up
The rose flower, the soot-dirtied "It" that exists only in shape
Both hate and sadness are inside the cradle; the crying of fear is a lullaby
They intersect under the red moon, drowning under the sea of evil never to be saved
If there is no resistance to the bloodshed, let out voices of prayer
Falling blue, hanged man, sliced words of malice
Spiral wound, glare of disdain, lump of desire
Light of day, desired lie, smashed up mask
The sound of waves smeared in the ostentation of "It"
A counting song, voices of battle, the birdcage spinning under the name of evil
Beg inside the sweet dream, licking lips at the seven deadly sins
If there is no resistance to the dried blood, I am now Salvation
The voice that fills the emptiness is a scream
And the squashed eyeballs cannot see anything
DIE
Singing is done under the crimson moon and if the stomach and neck are cut open,
The remaining blood is truth, deception; let death be salvation
Truth Deception Die Repentance Hope Nonsense
Truth Deception Kuroyuri
Kuroyuri is the flower Fritillaria camschatcensis which in japanese flower language means "love" or "curse"

First time fighting mother: It can't be that hard, let see her skill and range
Mother: can cancel song
Me: >:-(
Lisette songs were OP. Especially when mother used her strongest moves.
Not that big a problem. Frees a witch up to do other things, as well as allowing the other witches to do another song.
I get to kill god AND the moon? Hell yeah, 10/10, fuck the moon
Me and my bros hate the moon, stupid ass rock in the sky

Sasuga Yui Horie is the best.
