    Thank God that I finally fund someone I could relate too :) Been a cook and then Manager of a Pizza restaurant I could say that your video is the best out there... I never mix a small amount to make a Pizza so all I needed is ideas and I got lots from your video. Of course you could agreed that we cooks are kinda in our own space when cooking anything we put our hands in and Pizza is just a sample... I love your mathod and will incorporated them with mine because I preferred to use fresh Oregano on mines but I just wanted to Thank you and Blessing for you and your love one on this pandemic crisis :)

      Sure you can. Most pizzerias don’t pre cook their sauce. They add spices a day earlier to meld at room temperature. I have tried both and find uncooked sauce much more flavorful. Usually oregano and a pinch of salt.

    proper tomatoes, salt, garlic, oregano and olive oil (and water if neccessary)... no sugar and no pepper (save black pepper for steaks, not for italian kitchen, especially pizza).... and no cooking the sauce.... rename video title to my style italian sauce, but not real italian pizza sauce, do not confuse the people :) if you go more deep in Naples, the real neapolitan pizza sauce is tomatoes, salt and basil (oil goes on the top after pizza is made, before cooking)... i can imagine the taste of your sauce and i believe it is fantastic, but it is definilety not a real italian pizza sauce :)

    • @Sapsche
      @Sapsche 7 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      That's not true at all, they are selling canned Italian San Marzano Tomatoes at Italian delicatessen shops, the only ingredients are tomatoes and tomato juice, a lot of sauce recipes use those as a base - and depending on where you are living you would sometimes not get fresh tomatoes that have the same intense and genuine tomato flavour.

    Oh my gosh, your stovetop is the only other stovetop that has flat burners other than my old stove. The burners stay hot forever even after you turn them off don't they. To funny. Do you use a certain brand of canned tomatoes.? Would it really make a difference in the flavor?

    • @easycookingwithede3408
      @easycookingwithede3408  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, these flat burners are very special, but not uncomfortable for cooking. also u can use the rest heat without consuming any more electricity. the canned tomatoes in my video are typical in our region trentino in the north of italy. important is, that there are no more ingredients except by tomatoes. the canned tomatoes of the different brands often don´t have the same taste, so that u have to check the right one for yourself. i wish u a happy cooking and a nice day, Ede.

    I'm a well followed chef at Carmines in New York city and we make classic , northern italian food and there is no way those tomatoes don't have an acidic taste. You must get some real sweeet tomatoes out of the can, because there is no way an average person who goes to the grocery store will be able to make great tasting pizza sauce by only simmering the tomatoes for 20 minutes. My guess, is that this recipe taste like garbage and has a very sour acidic taste , unless you possibly have pachino tomatoes or a very high quality tomato out of the can. What kind of tomatoes are you using?? I'm sure a lot of people would like to know.
