@@davidmincher8431 When was the last time Wednesday won a European trophy and provided England with its two greatest managers? Oh, and bad luck in the play offs.
It's a grand day out in Bucks for you and the farmers. Oh and how many titles have you won. You are a comma on a page. I cannot believe you are serious. Portman Road hardly a hotbed. Made in Sheffield is an international symbol of steel and craft. An international reputation and stamp. Nothing has ever come out of Ipswich that is industrial or even useful.
@@davidmincher8431 someone is a bit salty still aren’t they about losing to Sunderland. Ipswich and Suffolk? Let’s look at some facts. Average house price in Ipswich/Suffolk is £320k; in Sheffield it’s barely £220k. History? I forgive your ignorance but Ipswich was a major wool town for centuries. Ever heard of Thomas Wolsey? He was Chancellor to Henry VIII centuries before Sheffield even existed. Came from Ipswich. Ever heard of Ed Sherhan? He’s a massive Ipswich fan. Sheffield? Run down, property prices low, unemployment high, massive social problems. Industrial? Means dirty and polluted. Whereas many Londoners have second homes for millions in Suffolk. Many people work in the City and have bought £1-2 million houses in Ipswich. And Football? You’re talking out of your arse mate. Any club that produces one England manager let alone two is hardly a comma in football history and to suggest otherwise is mental. Have a word with yourself. Sir Alf Ramsey won the league at his first attempt - the only club to win consecutive championships on promotion - then won the World Cup with England on the back of it - and then bobby Robson made Ipswich a top European side. For 10 years we were top six, came 3rd four times and runners up twice, won FA cup and UEFA cup and had a team full of internationals. We are the only English side to have played in all major European competitions and never lost at home. One of only seven clubs to have won a major European trophy. This is a “comma” in history? You’re having a laugh. You do your own club a disservice by knowing so little and showing such little respect. Wednesday? Sure, you won things years and years ago but that’s when there were far fewer professional clubs, and most of that success was pre war or two centuries ago, and your last trophy was in 1991 which was the league cup. You’ve never won anything in Europe. Most of your fans have never seen you win any major trophy. That said, I would always think of Weds as a “proper” club with history and tradition. Unlike you, I’m enough of a football lover to know and respect other proper clubs. As for attendances, we get the same home and away as Weds. As for financial backing, we are owned by billionaire US owners which is why we attracted Man Utd’s assistant manager - arguably the best young manager in the country. I actually wish Weds good luck next season. Both Weds and Ipswich should be in the championship at least.
Shut up you pleb against Sunderland your attendance was 11k we would fill your stadium better than you do. Do you think we care about 20 40-year-old blokes who've watched football factory too many times grow up?
