Kramnik at 19 looks like Kramnik now in a wig
Everything is clear about this game to me. Lets start the procedure!

Fun history fact: Shortly after attempting to flag Kasparov in a completely lost position in this game, kramnik blocked and reported him.
These were the times when he didnt know about the procedure 😂
Holy hell, I dig this kind of commentary. Their processing of variations is just enough for me not to get lost as compared to today's avalanche of notation and remarks.
I think this was shortly after he left Led Zeppelin
Imagine if he just got up and said “It is clear to me now, let’s do the procedure”, as he pulled out a gun…
😂😂
So interesting to see how commentary worked without engines…
Kramniks hair is crazy
It checks out with recent events I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Kramnik now is crazy 😂
19-year-old Kramnik looks about 41.
at least he doesn’t have gray hair
No, he doesn't LOL
Intresting

One of the very few players with a + score vs Kasparov 5-4 in classical if I remember right.
Suspicious middlegame from Garry, I do the procedure...

There are no best moves. Slightly stronger engines hate moves of other engines and so on.

This is very high level blitz especially for 1994 before engines
Blitz hasn't gotten that much stronger since. It is opening + quick calculations. What do engines change much here?

queen up must be a win !! :)
Isn't it wonderful? Those were the days.
Kramnik was a great player. It's so sad to see what he did to himself and his reputation by making this online chess cheating controversy.
And I am proud of Kramnik. He alone goes against the system, a real champion and not a clown blogger, like some

Kramnik had some serious hair back in the day.
Interesting hair... time for the standard procedure
look how fast kramnik made all of the opening moves. He has been indeed a theory revolutionary
He tried to flag him. Lmfao
Lol the signs were there all along that he would go nuts eventually
I knew Garry was strong but damn I had not imagined he would be this strong
He was. He indeed was. Pca world champion from 1985-2000. Kramnik himself dethroned him.
arguably the goat xd indeed really strong

19 year old kramnik is basically L from death note ahhahahahahahahahajah
Kasparov had to do the procedure.
Kramnik tries to flag Garry?
Moral degregation…
How dare he has a different opinion 30 years later...
19 year old kramnik looks similar to 22 year old hans niemann. Both look way older than their age.
Niemann is 21
Time traveller??
The thumbnail looks like a Tim & Eric sketch
That just shows you how after the time tim and Eric are. They captured a while generations style a decade later.
Kramnik has looked 45 for the last 30yrs
The old watch looks cooler I think
Kramnik looks like he could play Keith in a Russian version of The Office
Under ‘strengths’ you’ve just put ‘chess’, and under ‘weaknesses’ you put ‘paranoia’
Kasparov: interesting
I wish they did chess visuals like this again. Id rather see the real board and analysis bottom right, makes it mor3 intense when they move
Kramnik then proceeded to complain about the input lag
"Such a move.."
Interesting 😎
