alonso stop ignoring my messages because im located overseas cuh show some luv and im ready to support u with mad dough cause homies get money over here
Yup. My daddy is from Schoolyard Crip which is in West LA and he banged during the peak of LA gangbanging which was the late 80s early 90s. I grew up in Long Beach on the eastside off of 7th & Walnut just down the street from Asian Boyz and 10th Street Sons Of Samoa Crip. But my homies was all from Baby Insane Crip so that's who I hung around with as a youngster over the years because all they did was party and the baddest females used to function with us. By the time I was in high school, my best friend had got courted on so I wanted to get courted on, but my dad knew what was up so he sent me to Louisiana as soon as I got off probation in order to keep me away from the gang. When I came back, me and him started having problems because I was hanging out in the hood and getting into fights with Longos, so he sent me to go live with my mom in Inglewood "where the damus is at" (his words) because I wanted to be a super Crip so bad. Soon as I got to Inglewood High School I stopped throwing up them Cs lol but the fucked up part was that gangs like Inglewood NHP and Queen Street wanted to recruit me but I stayed in Inglewood Family hood off of 89th & Crenshaw who is they enemies. I could've been a Blood if I wanted too but it just didn't make sense to me at the time because I was living in a enemy hood and plus I didn't really grow up with them niggas anyway. Long story short, I played football for three years in high school, ended up on the streets for a while and became homeless after I moved to South Central, started hanging around guys from different hoods and saw some shit, stayed away from drugs and alcohol, lost a few homies to gang violence, started doing martial arts like Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, and Pankration right after high school sometime in 2010/2011, almost got murdered in 2012 but it wasn't my time to go yet. I ended up getting PTSD from my near death experience, I became a Buddhist in 2013 in order to seek out peace, serenity, and wisdom within myself, I moved out of the hood (but you know I still gotta go back because I love it and the hood loves me) and I am currently in Nursing school to become a CRNA which is a registered nurse that specializes in anesthesia. And I owe ALL OF THAT to my FATHER who did not want to see me experience the same horrible things he saw and participated in during the crack pandemic. I am where I am today because I had a father who gave a fuck about me, unlike damn near all of my homeboys who are gang members, they were raised by single mothers and had no strong positive patriarchs in their lives to show them the way. If I didn't have a dad, who knows where I would've ended up. I probably would've been another statistic.
Your comment literally makes no sense. You said” gangbanging has killed so many of our black men and women, white supremacy is our real enemy” do you know how stupid you sound? Sadly, the black mans worst enemy is ANOTHER black man...

I needed to see this video, me and this man have endured the exact same struggles and I respect him to the fullest for getting out that life after losing his brother, what most people don’t understand who have never lived that life is that losing you’re brother sister father mother or just a close homeboy is what kept a lot of us in that gang life. To be able to escape that life and re-wire you’re brain to not have the gang mentality is NOT easy and it’s takes a strong man or woman to do it. Much love and respect to this brother from a fellow rehabilitated man from COMPTON (won’t say the gang cuhz I’m not on that no more)

Just goes to show that if you give troubled young men a chance to grow into adults they eventually find their path to righteousness. Sad so many die young or grow old in prison. Right on to this man and his transformation will in turn help us to break the cycle of death and destruction of our youth in our communities. One love.
