i was black here, i remember this game being so frustrating and sad but happy now to realize i was playing Dylan! great video and great mistake analysis from everyone, think the rage robs from white were the biggest mistake tho :)
Hi Dylan, if you ended up hiring someone in that creative director role, I think it would be good idea to say that, just so that you don't have people thinking you just using people's ideas off their applications without ever planning to hire someone.
If you are only worried about white, why dont you just plow him and secure the sheep port very early? As a bonus, that port will be usefull for you aswell!!!

That's literally exactly what he did, before he ended his turn at 17:23 he didn't have the city in hand, and from then onwards he citied up at every opportunity, wtf are you talking about

I was just frustrated that he was complaining that after he got cut off he couldnt win and was talking about getting biggest army or digging for VPs. It did take him along time to realize as these are the 2 win conditions he always focuses on.
The Catan community is full of such awful people. Not the creators or most of the top players, they are great. But man, the games are just SO toxic nowadays. I hate it. I took a break after getting to around 70th this season and played chess. When I came back the other day it was just even more glaring how mean and horrible the community is. It's unlike the chess or even Risk community. Sad. P.s. I think its because Colonist doesn't enforce ANY of their "rules." If you don't, you become a joke.
@Paraninja ya. It's definitely not everyone, sometimes I meet awesome people. But there's enough where there's usually 1-2 in EVERY game. It wasn't like this when I first started following Dylan and Colonist was just getting started. It was them not taking action against these people that created the culture of toxicity. They simply don't want to ban paying customers or "potential" paying customers, but its ruining their entire brand.

I follow you for over a year but this game you made a lot of mistakes and confusions during the game like rolling a 7 and saying it was a 9. It happens to the best of us you content is amazing we all make mistakes but you are awsome keep up the good work

12:40 is road building to 6 3 12 better than plowing white to 10 ore? Better for ore wheat ratios and outs to steal road

Because the 9 ore 3:1 is much better for his game. Hurting another player at the cost of your own game is rarely a good move in 4 player games.

It’s really awful lately. Hard to get a decent game. About one in five games I’d say you find a good table.
