11:30 "VP, that's pretty good for me. Get nine-ball again. Oh that's good, that's so good!" 9:07 "Never lucky dude." Holy goldfish! I am losing my memory.
Not going for the 4 9 11 plow is definitely an example to what sets you apart from unprofessional players. It really looks like the play, even the other experienced player was surprised. But like you said - I'm pretty sure that if you did it, it would be tougher for you to win. Amazing to watch.
It's probable that it was a decision to purposely make himself weaker. Additionally, it's possible that since blue getting plowed there makes him 100% lose the game, it would result in blue rage blocking dylighted for the rest of the game.
I had the same thought but I learned something today. The 3:1 port was so much more valuable than flooding his hand with Sheep and potentially losing the 3:1 port to Blue.
I’m not understanding not going for the wheat port first. Surely that just means city up on the 9 5 10 and any of those rolls is any resource you could want?
The thing is, wheat was never going to be stuck in his hands. It's the most useful resource and it was low on the map. If he had extra wheat he could simply trade it rather than port. The 6 ore is needed to balance his resources, which is better than 2:1ing for ore every time.
He explained it pretty clearly... If he puts it on 10 5 9 it's gonna get blocked heavily, so he doesn't really get much out of it. A blocked city tile is 0 production. If he puts it on 2 9 10, it's less likely to get blocked... which leaves 10 brick open and he has brick port... which... definitely worked out for him. If you scrub through the game after he cities that 2 9 10, you'll see the robber basically lived on his two good wheat tiles.
@@Konitamathat's not really good logic. If you have 1 wheat or 1 ore tile and it's blocked that logic works. If you city the 5910 you become unblockable. If they block the wheat you have 2 strong ore tiles. If they block the 10 ore you still have the 6 ore. Either way if you city the 5910 you can build a second city within 2 orbits probably and then you just run away with the game.
I don’t see it, what am I missing? All I see is that after the settle he has 11 bricks and 0 wood. Porting bricks for wood gives 5 bricks and 3 wood. Not enough to take road
Blue is so bad lol. Giving you trades alllll game. Black also gives you the settle at the beginning immediately after saying how strong you are. He literally trades you then says the game is over xD
Its so funny how he calls whatever the dice roll a "__ Ball". "We just need an 8 ball here" 😂😂😂😂
Almost as funny as what he says at 20:20
The desert robber is the ultimate chad move, don't care what anyone says 😂

Tell everyone what you did to that nugget
‼️SPOILER SHIELD‼️
🛡Extra strong
Thx dud

City 5 9 10 surely better? Also that sheep extorsion at 12:41 - the only solution for blue there was to do a non-binding.
I'd also city that so you can quickly go for second city
Passing on the 4 9 11 plow was lunacy.
It made him less of a threat, people are more likely to block/steal from blue. And he obvs didn't need it to win
Dylan got 2 non-blocks in return, and a 3:1 port, and good diplomatic relations with Blue.

Yes I see the benefits once explained, but when this situation appears to me i just plow😂

Great videos, on demand !
hey dylan, how come you think you've been having a harder time breaking into the top 50 than you did last season?
he is playing significantly worse
@@budderpenguin43 the average player is also a lot better with all the educational resources available now

don't like the city either 2 ore on a 10 is better than 1 free card, 5 or 9 is always open for a ton of wheat.
Why did you not settle on the wheat port first? Instead of the brick port?
He gets a diverse set of numbers for ore, and black has good motivation and resources to plow the brick port
@@nicholasvigil4678 Not only that, he mentions he's worried orange could quickly get to the brick port and then they'd be insanely strong.
Plus you'd never port your wheat ideally
Oohh okay all this makes more sense now. Ty

madpanda very polite like it
not sure why u city the 2 9 10 vs 10 5 9
he overthinks a lot

I agree. THe 5/9/10 will produce you more even with one of them always blocked. + much easier to get cities.
Bro, 4911 is so good. 2 sheep 2 ore 2 wheat and you have a wood for some roads. Big mistake imo.
15:52 no one caught it but you had the win. 6 roads in your hand and takes road with 5 of them and settles for the win
loool. true.

What? He had a maximum of 4 roads? What are you talking about
yeah, you're correct. I forgot that when u port your materials go away haha
no one caught something that wasn't possible... brilliant lol
I'm top 60 too. Top 60 worst players

You didnt buy out the deck after you said you would. That was really bad. And black trades you the win.... Can we get better content please! :DDD
