The stuff that the steel player was playing behind Ford was killer! He should have been in view the entire time! His contribution was so strong that it was a major distraction during the guitar solo not being able to determine who or what was making that sound. I bet Ford would agree.
I wonder how many realize that the secret to RF's sound is his pick (plectrum) as much or more than the Dumble. He has a very distinctive pick sound, because of his attack, angle, the material and gauge, etc.
