It’s so clever. His scenes of ascended to dark urge to spawn him all become one and I can’t get over the audio you used for his lines. Hello again!! 👋 [SPOILERS AHEAD] 1:17 - Happens during Tav's playthrough when you meet Cazador without Astarion. There's a check you have to succeed, "3. [PERSUASION] I'm here to discuss handing him over..." and Cazador will reply something along the lines of "Very well. But cross me and I promise I will deliver you an eternity of suffering!" 1:34 - This is a combination so basically: • "He is so afraid" - Some time in Act 2 of the Dark Urge playthrough when the butler Sceleritas Fel shows up during a long rest trying to convince The Dark Urge to kill one of their companions (the one with the highest rating/romanced and if not mistaken, this scene only triggers if The Dark Urge didn't kill Isobel like Sceleritas asked to early in Act 2) • "He is afraid because all he has ever known is you and me, and without us he is nothing." - From the same conversation as 1:17 (Tav's playthrough, meet Cazador without Astarion) and triggered by the following order "1. He's not coming....." → "1. He's worried about me and wants me to get back safe." Hopefully it's accurate. I've not played since the newer updates so I'm not aware if there are any changes to the dialogues. Hope this helps though!! When I tell you I was SCREAMING throughout this entire thing!! It is SO BEAUTIFUL. The comment that was displaying as it started was about how it feels like a movie trailer, so I was thinking about that the whole time and it DOES. There are even scenes I haven't seen before (and some I hear are others), which served to make it even morw powerful. Wow. Just wow. Amazing
There's a lot of model-swapping going on here. The dance scene, for example, is really a scene of Wyll's where Wyll's model has been swapped out for Astarion's. So a lot of what you see in this video is not actually in the game, as sucnh.

I've seen some swapping out a character with Tav, no idea how, but omg it really would double the clips and some of it would look so cute too. Plus making Tav look like she's talking would be cool! ❤️

I'm so glad for the spawn ending and just happy that we get to be happy forever with him ❤ he's just too sweet. I wish they'd make more DLC so we can see our continued story with him past the cute him happier then ever with us epilogue. Or maybe even a story. Almost went for Wyll each time because...the dance. The dance was so incredibly charming and he feels like the most wholesome character. Wyll...(sighs) the man you are 🫶 I've also reached Karlach's Act 2 romance and ohhhh I want to give her all the hugs and kisses. I'm taking a break from the game now but on the next run I'm gonna play through the other origin characters' stories, and probably romance Karlach first...or Lae'zel. [SPOILERS AHEAD] Hahaha that knife throwing scene omg...at some point I just decided to leave it ambiguous and up to everyone watching this to decide if it's towards Astarion or Cazador. I think the epilogue wasn't out yet when this fanvid was posted but it doesn't really matter because for this edit, I wanted to leave it open to interpretation and still imply that despite the choices made, the player has already made a huge impression on him and going forward whether or not they end up together or even live through it, "Whatever the future holds for me, I want you. I don't want to lose that." You (Tav/character) will always be there and through you (Tav/character), so will Astarion...if that makes sense? I don't know really haha it's really up to the ones watching. I didn't want to show a definite route/ending 😅

Gods - these poor people." "1. His scars matches one of the runes on your back." Sebastian will ask how long he's been down there, "1. Let Astarion answer." Sentences triggered after "3. We need to go. Now." (1:24 first, then 1:08) - apparently failing the persuasion/intimidation checks also triggers this (There's a video by Stellina titled 'Avoid Astarion Getting Cursed by Sebastian Rare Conversation Choices BG3 Sad Scene All Responses' showing the entire encounter, very helpful!) I'm not sure if there's anything specific that triggers the scene but it happens quite early in Act 1 during a long rest and it involves Lae'zel. It's also the first time meeting the dream guardian right after this scene. Hope this helps without spoiling too much 😅 Thank you for your comment!! 🩷
It may be useful for you if it's mentioned, that scene happens to the 'main character'. If you play Astarion as an origin character, you get this scene with Astarion's model; otherwise it's your own Tav.

It's the romance scene with the dream guardian/emperor. It's Astarion's origin playthrough and I made the guardian to look like my Tav. According to an online guide (gamerant), you gotta find the emperor's hideout in the Elfsong Tavern and after a long rest you'll have to pick the option to hold his hand and then take another long rest. Basically just keep accepting his flirting advances. During the romance scene there's an option to romance in their current form or ask them to change into the guardian form. Hehe hope this helps ❤️
What are the clips of him turning into... Uh, ash? where he's near the sun or something? I had the spawn ending, but I haven't seen the other clips. Edit: like the one at around 0:35?
[SPOILERS AHEAD] It's from Astarion's origin playthrough, spawn ending. For 0:33 and 0:40, he has no romanced character left (romanced Gale but to trigger the ending scene of Astarion underground avoiding sunlight, I picked the option for Gale to blow up the orb). 0:36 happens on the docks at the end before he runs for cover. The clip at 0:37 is model swapped Dark Urge and the scene takes place after the Emerald Grove bard joins the camp.
[SPOILERS AHEAD] The part where he says "I had a plan.....and all I had to do was not fall for you" is from Act 2 (a video titled 'Baldur's Gate 3 - Astarion's Confession' by Sungrave mentioned having to kill Yurgir and taking 2 long rests after. This scene can also be triggered after telling off Araj Oblodra in Moonrise Towers but according to the same video, it would lead to a shorter version of this dialogue). For a quick reference, it's the same scene as the one where the player gets to give him a hug at the end of the dialogue. "For nearly 2 centuries....now I need to figure out who I am" is from Act 3 after defeating Cazador and not ascending Astarion. The lines are triggered after a long rest when he shows you his gravestone. Hope this helps! It's been a while since playing the game so I don't know if the updates affect how the dialogue triggers now 😅

You have nothing to worry about - it's a very good face." 2:44 - 3:22 I'm guessing you mean the dialogue "For as long as I can remember...." onwards • "For as long as I can remember, I've been used by others..." - (Tav's playthrough, Act 2, Astarion's confession scene) this is from the scene if he's forced to sleep with Tav after the confession. • "You were always weak, brother." - (Tav's playthrough, Act 3, Cazador's spawns trying to kidnap Astarion during a long rest in the lower city) - triggered if Tav fails the check for "DECEPTION: He's free of Cazador's command. You should follow him. He will save you." • "No, do not do this!" - (Astarion's origin, Act 3, choosing to Ascend) triggered when choosing to 'begin the ritual'. Alright (rolls up sleeve) gonna try my best to breakdown this next one: It's a combination from the graveyard and post-graveyard conversation scene (Tav's playthrough, Act 3) • "But you saw something in me. Someone else I could be." is from the post-graveyard conversation triggered by selecting "1. And? How does it feel?" • "And whatever the future holds for me..." is from the graveyard scene, the same line where he says "You were by my side through all of this. Through bloodlust, and pain, and misery. You were patient, you cared....." triggered by telling him "1. You're the person I love. The person I want." • "You. I want you." graveyard scene. Ask him "2. And what do you want?" • "I don't want to lose that." - from the same line as "And whatever the future holds for me...I don't want to lose that." • Also, that little background "Don't you dare!" at 3:16 is during the ascension ritual from Tav's playthrough. 1:17 - Happens during Tav's playthrough when you meet Cazador without Astarion. There's a check you have to succeed, "3. [PERSUASION] I'm here to discuss handing him over..." and Cazador will reply something along the lines of "Very well. But cross me and I promise I will deliver you an eternity of suffering!"
1:34 - This is a combination so basically:
• "He is so afraid" - Some time in Act 2 of the Dark Urge playthrough when the butler Sceleritas Fel shows up during a long rest trying to convince The Dark Urge to kill one of their companions (the one with the highest rating/romanced and if not mistaken, this scene only triggers if The Dark Urge didn't kill Isobel like Sceleritas asked to early in Act 2)
• "He is afraid because all he has ever known is you and me, and without us he is nothing." - From the same conversation as 1:17 (Tav's playthrough, meet Cazador without Astarion) and triggered by the following order "1. He's not coming....." → "1. He's worried about me and wants me to get back safe."

When I tell you I was SCREAMING throughout this entire thing!! It is SO BEAUTIFUL. The comment that was displaying as it started was about how it feels like a movie trailer, so I was thinking about that the whole time and it DOES. There are even scenes I haven't seen before (and some I hear are others), which served to make it even morw powerful. Wow. Just wow. Amazing
There's a lot of model-swapping going on here. The dance scene, for example, is really a scene of Wyll's where Wyll's model has been swapped out for Astarion's. So a lot of what you see in this video is not actually in the game, as sucnh.

So far I've played through Astarion's romance as Tav and The Dark Urge. Romanced Gale! I enjoyed his as well. Almost went for Wyll each time because...the dance. The dance was so incredibly charming and he feels like the most wholesome character. Wyll...(sighs) the man you are 🫶 I've also reached Karlach's Act 2 romance and ohhhh I want to give her all the hugs and kisses.
I'm taking a break from the game now but on the next run I'm gonna play through the other origin characters' stories, and probably romance Karlach first...or Lae'zel. Honestly can't decide, they're all great choices ❤️

Hahaha that knife throwing scene omg...at some point I just decided to leave it ambiguous and up to everyone watching this to decide if it's towards Astarion or Cazador. I think the epilogue wasn't out yet when this fanvid was posted but it doesn't really matter because for this edit, I wanted to leave it open to interpretation and still imply that despite the choices made, the player has already made a huge impression on him and going forward whether or not they end up together or even live through it, "Whatever the future holds for me, I want you. I don't want to lose that." You (Tav/character) will always be there and through you (Tav/character), so will Astarion...if that makes sense? I don't know really haha it's really up to the ones watching. I didn't want to show a definite route/ending 😅

(1:24 first, then 1:08) - apparently failing the persuasion/intimidation checks also triggers this (There's a video by Stellina titled 'Avoid Astarion Getting Cursed by Sebastian Rare Conversation Choices BG3 Sad Scene All Responses' showing the entire encounter, very helpful!)

I'm not sure if there's anything specific that triggers the scene but it happens quite early in Act 1 during a long rest and it involves Lae'zel. It's also the first time meeting the dream guardian right after this scene. Hope this helps without spoiling too much 😅

It's the romance scene with the dream guardian/emperor. It's Astarion's origin playthrough and I made the guardian to look like my Tav. According to an online guide (gamerant), you gotta find the emperor's hideout in the Elfsong Tavern and after a long rest you'll have to pick the option to hold his hand and then take another long rest. Basically just keep accepting his flirting advances. During the romance scene there's an option to romance in their current form or ask them to change into the guardian form. Hehe hope this helps ❤️

It's from Astarion's origin playthrough, spawn ending. For 0:33 and 0:40, he has no romanced character left (romanced Gale but to trigger the ending scene of Astarion underground avoiding sunlight, I picked the option for Gale to blow up the orb). 0:36 happens on the docks at the end before he runs for cover. The clip at 0:37 is model swapped Dark Urge and the scene takes place after the Emerald Grove bard joins the camp.

Out of curiosity, how do you trigger the lines at the beginning? Ive played multiple playthroughs and cant figure out where this dialogue is from
[SPOILERS AHEAD]
The part where he says "I had a plan.....and all I had to do was not fall for you" is from Act 2 (a video titled 'Baldur's Gate 3 - Astarion's Confession' by Sungrave mentioned having to kill Yurgir and taking 2 long rests after. This scene can also be triggered after telling off Araj Oblodra in Moonrise Towers but according to the same video, it would lead to a shorter version of this dialogue). For a quick reference, it's the same scene as the one where the player gets to give him a hug at the end of the dialogue.
"For nearly 2 centuries....now I need to figure out who I am" is from Act 3 after defeating Cazador and not ascending Astarion. The lines are triggered after a long rest when he shows you his gravestone.
Hope this helps! It's been a while since playing the game so I don't know if the updates affect how the dialogue triggers now 😅

• "Until you." - (Tav's playthrough, Act 2 during his confession scene) the original dialogue is "But a friend? I can't think of a single one...until you." triggered when you select the dialogue "2. Maybe what you really need is a friend, not a lover."
2:42 (Tav's playthrough, Act 1, Astarion's mirror scene)
• "Being reflected in someone else's eyes..." - after telling him "You're beautiful." at the end of the conversation.
• "What do you see when you look at me?" - near the start of the mirror scene conversation when telling him "2. You have nothing to worry about - it's a very good face."
2:44 - 3:22 I'm guessing you mean the dialogue "For as long as I can remember...." onwards
• "For as long as I can remember, I've been used by others..." - (Tav's playthrough, Act 2, Astarion's confession scene) this is from the scene if he's forced to sleep with Tav after the confession.
• "You were always weak, brother." - (Tav's playthrough, Act 3, Cazador's spawns trying to kidnap Astarion during a long rest in the lower city) - triggered if Tav fails the check for "DECEPTION: He's free of Cazador's command. You should follow him. He will save you."

Alright (rolls up sleeve) gonna try my best to breakdown this next one:
It's a combination from the graveyard and post-graveyard conversation scene (Tav's playthrough, Act 3)
• "But you saw something in me. Someone else I could be." is from the post-graveyard conversation triggered by selecting "1. And? How does it feel?"
• "And whatever the future holds for me..." is from the graveyard scene, the same line where he says "You were by my side through all of this. Through bloodlust, and pain, and misery. You were patient, you cared....." triggered by telling him "1. You're the person I love. The person I want."
• "You. I want you." graveyard scene. Ask him "2. And what do you want?"
• "I don't want to lose that." - from the same line as "And whatever the future holds for me...I don't want to lose that."
• Also, that little background "Don't you dare!" at 3:16 is during the ascension ritual from Tav's playthrough. At some point, one of the companions will tell him to stop it and he shouts that in response.

0:32 - the one where he opens the window is actually modded (Tav playthrough, he's swapped with Lae'zel in Act 1 Lae'zel's romance scene) / the one where he reaches out to the sun is from his non-ascended and non-romanced ending (Astarion's origin).
0:35 (Astarion's origin) - Non-ascended ending on the docks.
0:41 (same as explained in the second part of 0:32).
1:05 (Astarion's origin) - Act 1, nightmare scene during the (first?) long rest.
"Now I need to figure out who I am" (Act 3 non-ascended Astarion, graveyard scene) - After he clears the gravestone and says "from that day on I was his" I selected "1. You were never his....."
1:11 - Sebastian, one of the spawn you meet at Cazador's dungeon. Triggered by having Astarion in your party.
1:27 - Also Sebastian but if you meant the voice after that, it's Sceleritas Fel from The Dark Urge playthrough when he tries to convince you to kill your closest companion (whoever with the highest approval at the time) in Act 2.
2:20 to 2:25, 1:33 - Cazador, this is one of the lines if you meet him without Astarion in your party, triggered by the order "1. He's not coming....." and then "1. He's worried about me and wants me to get back safe."
3:19 "I want you" - Act 3 non-ascended romance scene at the graveyard after asking "2. And what do you want?"
3:45 to 3:50 stargazing scene - Act 2 Gale's romance scene, model swapped Astarion with Gale.

So at 1:33 Cazador is the one that says "he is afraid because all he's ever known is you and me and without us he'd be nothing" but before that, dark urge's butler says "he is so afraid of everyone"? Sorry just wanted to check!
