    I had to rewatch the first second of stage 2 about seven times because that draw and split was so insane

    You can really see the effectiveness of the comp in this video. Pretty awesome.

    That handgaurd is so sick... I can't wait to build a PCC just so I can stick one on! I hope they make em' for AR15s soon!

    I've noticed that a lot of PCC competitors run 2 optics. Is the purpose of the canted optic to be a backup in case the primary fails during a stage?

  • @Amatt95
    @Amatt95 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Well do you like that they gave PCC it’s own match? The stages look they had some good distances.
    I doubt we would see that if a pistol match was shot with PCC. Although we had a few long shots at Universal for optics Nats.
    Congrats on your win, those were some smokin runs?

    Gotta ask, did you hit that transition right after 1:42? If so, DUDE... Hats off...

      yes, all hits on that stage. I had 21A 8C 1D, I think my delta was my 2nd shot of the 2nd target (the top of the far double stack from the start)

    I know you experiment a lot. What benefit did you find when you put your offset (optic) behind your primary optic rather than in front?

    Interesting, why did you go with a EOtech instead of your normal setup?

    • @Maxamundi
      @Maxamundi  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is my normal setup now. I'm running the xps2-1 so it's still just a single dot. I love it. I looked for another option after having a lot of QC issues with holosun over the winter season. But it seems the issues are mostly fixed, I just have less trust in them now for my primary match gun.

    Max, how do you operate with your grip? Do you push with your thumb or just hold it firmly, or how?

    • @Maxamundi
      @Maxamundi  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just hold it lightly. My left arm does almost nothing for controlling the gun. I pull the gun straight back into my body with minor force.

    Interesting plan on 12. Went that way to be a little less winded on the long shots I presume?

    • @Maxamundi
      @Maxamundi  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. To be closer to the array of 4 and guarantee alphas (low hit factor), and not have to shoot it on the move or swing back for the 4th. It popped into my head and I went with it as I was on deck. Pretty sure it was better. It wasn't any more movement.

    • @FC_Jason
      @FC_Jason 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maxamundi speaking of low hit factors... not a one over 10 at the entire match. 😐

    • @Maxamundi
      @Maxamundi  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FC_Jason stage 5 should have been, but I was taking it super easy since it was our first stage 😁

    • @FC_Jason
      @FC_Jason 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maxamundi fair enough. Even I broke 8.0 on that one... with a mike.. so yeah.. you could’ve. 😁

    • @Jeffferguson1911
      @Jeffferguson1911 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That one surprised me too when I saw the video. All of us shot the far and 3/4 paper from the first spot, followed the back line to the corner and picked up the double stack, the left-most in the 3/4 paper and then went on to the triples and finishing on the swinger. I ended up with WAY low hits...apparently something happened between Ohio and Florida with my dot. I should've been 6-7" high for that distance and held on the bottom of the paper still getting mikes.

    • @Maxamundi

      Eotech XPS2-1. It's an 8.6oz absolute cowitness single 1moa dot sight. It gets so incredibly bright though, with lots of settings for fine tuning.

    1:01 and 3:54 those are .09 splits at the slowest. Was that bumpfiring or were you pulling the trigger normally but really really fast?

    • @kw2519
      @kw2519 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Watch his other videos, he’s just that fast. He has his gun tuned to run really fast.

    • @shootinbruin3614
      @shootinbruin3614 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kw2519 I've seen a lot of Max's videos and he's very fast. His splits are not consistently that fast however and he's mentioned in prior videos that he bump fires on very close range targets. I'm just wondering if he still did that during the Nationals

    • @kw2519
      @kw2519 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shootin' Bruin I’ve seen consistently hit .10 splits and his gun is capable of .09, but ya, he could be bumping it.

    • @MaxxSauce2
      @MaxxSauce2 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, those were just fast splits. I have caught my gun bump firing on video, and it's way faster than these examples. It's in my Day 10 video (footstep timing) at about 3:45 in the video: /watch?v=JQKus10sKvk

      @@MaxxSauce2 Hi Max, thanks for clearing that up! Amazing splits. Glad to see you back on SuperSetCA as well. If you don't mind me asking, what LPVO among those you've tried is the quickest/easiest to use at 1x?
      Currently I'm between the Razor 1-6x and the Swaro Z6i and Z8i, but am open to any input. Just looking for the most RDS-like 1x performance available.
