Not saying it wasnt a skillful display, but from what I’ve been led to believe, it was certainly doable.
At 250ft even a relatively inaccurate rifle should be able to shoot a 3"-4" group. I'll bet that the Carcano is in the range of a 2-3 MOA rifle which would produce around 2" groups at a range of 250ft. The Presidential limo wasn't moving very fast so it shouldn't have been a very hard shot to make.

"Air Force One" is the air traffic control call sign. It's only Air Force One when POTUS is onboard. There's two of them; the vice prez can ride in the spare, or it can be a redundant system. The prez and vice prez never fly together for security reasons. JFK had a 707 - modified with all the state-of-the-art electronics. Super expensive. Current Air Force One is a VC-25A, delivered in 1990 (a modified 747). A replacement was ordered in 2015 (VC-25B). Tweeting Trump put a stop to that, saying that $4 billion for 2 airplanes was too much. Currently Boeing has $170 million to figure out a cheaper option using built planes that are parked in the desert. I assume the air force upgrades the electronics on a regular basis, but that would be secret. The original 1990 computer would look huge and slow today. The plane is modified with conference rooms, sleeping rooms, mobile command and control center, all the electronics, and other expensive customizations. Redesigning the refrigerator is expensive. Air Force One can refuel in-flight, but it has to land when they run out of food. To stay in the air 4 weeks, the fridge needs to be 10X standard size.
Jack Ruby was originally going to be sentenced to death for the murder of Oswald, but was later given a new trial but unfortunately passed away in prison to some sort of illness.

Two things: Don't ever apologize for stopping the video to talk about something! That is why we watch the video. If we wanted to see the full video itself without commentary, we can just go to the channel of the video you are reacting to. You talking about what you are seeing adds substance to your video, allowing us to see YOUR take on a video's topic, I don't see many react channels actually do that ironically enough. I especially enjoy watching you react to videos about either history or military-related things and listening to your take on the situation as a soldier and as an Estonian. But that is personal preference. Americans don't typically take the law into their own hands, the only time this would have been the case would be in the times of the Wild West, and even then the sheriff existed for a reason. The guy who shot Oswald, while his reasons may have been morally justified. Legally, he still murdered someone and still went to prison for it. As with every country, our legal system exists for a reason, and when people circumvent it to do what THEY think is right, they do a disservice to everyone. Kennedy's highly modified Boeing 707 "Air Force One" was in service from 1962 to 1998. A second Boeing 707 was added to the fleet in 1972, it was also retired in 1998. They were replaced by two highly modified Boeing 747-200 that are still currently in service. Design/construction has already begun on the next two aircraft. They reportedly be highly advanced/highly modified Boeing 747-800 at a cost of almost 4 Billion dollars.
Okay, from your own military history, you know the sound of weapon's fire around you. There was a veteran that said shots came from the grassy knoll. Further, twelve men, described as hobos, were seen boarding a train illegally. The men were clean-shaven and wearing military combat boots. The railway worker who identified the men was killed within the year. Second, Though the Mauser and the Carcano rifles were clearly different. If the initial report said the rifle was a Mauser, I believe the initial report. Third, when Oswald came down the stairs from the break-room of the book depository, he appeared normal. He wasn't sweating from sitting in the top floor warehouse that had no air conditioning or from running down the stairs and had a Coke in his hand from the break room. Fourth, two of the eye witnesses identified Oswald as the man who shot officer Tippett from almost eighty yards. The lady sitting on her porch said the man who shot Officer Tippett was heavier and more solidly built than Oswald. Fifth, Oswald filed a report at two FBI field offices imploring the government to act before President Kennedy arrived in Texas. Sixth, Oswald was known to interact with various foreign entities as well as members of the FBI and CIA. (An odd occurrence for a repatriated American. More odd because Oswald, who was part of the classified working of American Radar Systems was allowed to go to the Soviet Union in the first place.) Seventh, though Oswald was a Marine, he could barely qualify with a rifle. Even though he may have been able to hit a stationary target, hitting a side profile is much harder. Even harder when you consider that the tree along the route obstructed the view from the book depository. Eighth, the DC switchboard went down shortly after President Kennedy entered Dealey Plaza. Ninth, when Oswald entered the theater without paying, it was a man at a neighboring store that called the police, not the theater employee. Though not proof, this does suggest that it was a prearranged meeting place. Tenth, though it shows that two men arrested Oswald, it doesn't show the number of vehicles outside for all the officers who showed up to arrest Oswald who hadn't been proven to be the shooter at this time. Eleventh, in New Zealand and Australia, the newspapers show a picture of Oswald as the assassin. Twelfth, of the six eye witnesses that continue to refute the Warren Report, five die under mysterious circumstances and one disappears all with sixteen months. Thirteenth, an agent had died in Texas who was looking into various organizations that had reason to hate the president. It was claimed to be a suicide. He shot himself seven times in the head and chest with a single action rifle. Finally, Jim Garrett of Louisiana was the only prosecutor who ever tried to prosecute anyone connected with the assassination. He was lied to, given false information, had criminal records and police records denied him. (Kevin Costner did a fairly good portrayal.)
In 1963, I am reasonably sure that Air Force One was a Boeing 707. The current plane is a highly customized 747. The air frame gets replaced periodically. I had just turned 4 years old when Kennedy was assassinated. My father was in the US military, and our family was stationed in Bremerhaven in the north of Germany. I have only vague memories of what went on, but I do recall that the military immediately went on very high alert, and my dad had to spend a period of time away from home, actually on the airbase. Carswell AFB no longer exists under that name, but was reestablished as Navy Air Station Joint Reserve Base in the mid-1990's, only a couple of years after the base was closed under a program called BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure), a program created to reduce the number of active military bases globally. I worked for many years on a Navy account, and have visited the JRB several times to have my CAC (Common Access Card, a secure government ID badge) renewed. Then we got President Johnson, who decided we needed to escalate Viet Nam. He was eligible to run for reelection in 1968, but that war was so unpopular it was clear he would not be reelected. Jack Ruby died in prison. EDIT: Oops, NAVAL Air Station Joint Reserve Base. Part of NAVAIR in terms of Claimant.
Teddy roosevelt was shot then gave a speech in which he made fun of the failed assassination attempt, and jack ruby was sentenced to death for killing lee harvey oswald
On Jack Ruby, the nightclub owned. Jack Leon Ruby (born Jacob Leon Rubenstein; April 25, 1911- January 3, 1967) was a Dallas, Texas nightclub owner. He fatally shot Lee Harvey Oswald on November 24, 1963, while Oswald was in police custody after being charged with assassinating United States President John F. Kennedy and murdering Dallas policeman J. D. Tippit about an hour later. A Dallas jury found him guilty of murdering Oswald, and he was sentenced to death. Ruby's conviction was later appealed, and he was granted a new trial. However, as the date for his new trial was being set, Ruby became ill in prison and died of a pulmonary embolism from lung cancer on January 3, 1967.
Hi so as a historian who deals alot in military small arms I would just like to point out that the 7.35 Carcano is actually not an innacurate rifle by standards of the time and only earned that reputation by missized commercial ammunition as, with original ammo, it is a perfectly accurate weapon.
cameron austin As a guy who works in arms sales, with a military background, I agree, it absolutely can be an accurate rifle. Especially in the hands of a trained person.
@@atexandude8734 "merchant of death" here, former anyways. The above sentiments are correct, poorly engineered commercial loadings and incorrectly modified ("sporterized") weapons were the root of the accuracy rumors. But even if the rifle were woefully inaccurate by today's standards, the shots were made at 100 yards. Keeping rounds in an 8" circle at that distance even with a 'broken' rifle wouldn't be all that difficult, and Oswald was well trained.
Just a fact: In 1963, the Air Force One was a Boeing 707 Aircraft Designed inside to be much more luxury. In around 1980, Air Force one changed to a Boeing 747, which is a double decker aircraft that has the ability to carry over 500 people!

@@presadisticlaw9717 That is entirely wrong. If you knew anything about ballistics you'd know that the entry wound is small (there was a small entrance wound on the back of Kennedy's skull) and the exit wound considerably larger. It was the FRONT right portion of his head that was blown out. Also, with regard to the backward jerk of his head, you are ignoring another well understood phenomenon call jet thrust, when the violent forward ejection of brain and skull matter causes a reactive backward thrust of the head.
On your question about Air Force one... there is no particular aircraft called air force one, but whatever plane the president is in would then be called Air Force one. I’m pretty sure there are 2 planes mainly used though
To answer your question on Air Force One, it's a little complicated. Air Force One is the designated name for whatever plane the president happens to be flying on, however there is a specific plane (actually 2) that is typically used. In the case of an emergency, any plane could be used and designated as Air Force One. I believe the current plane is not the same as the one Kennedy flew on, however some interior decorations from the original have been used in the current plane which is actually 1 of 2 Boeing 747-200B series aircraft, which carry the tail codes 28000 and 29000. The Air Force designation for the aircraft is VC-25A which are capable of refueling while flying which makes the range of the plane and it's flight time unlimited.
The car was a modified Lincoln Continental. You'll notice in the animation that the President's seat and the middle seat were the same height. That is a fallacy. The jump seats in front of the president were actually lower. The car was a "Hard Top." Meaning, unlike convertibles where the roof could be lowered, a hard top had to be removed to show the occupants. VP Johnson was very upset that the parade was nearly cancelled because of the rain earlier in the day.
The hot line is actually text based. and it’s connected to translators on both sides. So the president can dictate a message. It will be typed and translated. And by design both sides will have access to translated and untranslated messages to try and make sure nuance isn’t lost
2:46 - So the hotline is actually not a voice line, it's basically like an old chatroom from the 1990s, the President dictates to a military officer who will type the message in either Russian or English.
5:15 well the "official" airforce one is, but technically any plane the president flies in is given the title airforce one but there is an official plane that is supposed to be airforce one unless its broken.
Yes, I commented on Airforce 1 and 2, Marine 1 and 2 as well as "The Beastx aka the limo in a different video earlier this week or last. The current Airforce 1 is not the same. Although Jackie Kennedy picked the original colors. It is due to be replaced, it has in air refueling ability unlike it's civilian version. It always flies with Airforce 2 so you don't know which one the president is on and has many defensive countermeasures with a lot of classified tech. It's theorized to have offensive weapons on board as well.
Oswald fired three shots, but tone missed. The motorcade was only traveling around 10 mph to give spectators a better look at Kennedy and didn't really speed up until after Kennedy's head exploded because they didn't realize what was happening. The car was also traveling pretty close to directly away from Oswald, with a slight left to right movement. The first shot was at a distance of less than 30 meters, and the last at about 80 meters. So it's not quite the feet of marksmanship most people seem to believe it is.
The Air Force One that Kennedy used was a modified Boeing 707, it is no longer in service and is currently on display at the National Museum of the US Air Force in Dayton, Ohio. If you ever visit that museum you can actually walk through and see the interior of that plane. The current Air Force One is a modified Boeing 747-200, there are actually 2 identical planes, one with tail number 28000 and the other with 29000. The plane only goes by callsign Air Force One when the president is on board. The air force is also currently working on modifying 2 new Boeing 747-8i's to replace the existing planes, they should go into service within the next decade.
Fun fact. There is of course a designated plane that is assigned to be Air Force One. However, that is the plane's designation not it's name. It is only Air Force One if the US President is onboard. Conversely, any plane that the President has to step foot on due to the assigned plane being unavailable for any reason such as an emergency automatically becomes Air Force One.
There are actually 2 identical planes that are typically used as Air Force One, although Air Force One isn’t any one plane in particular, it’s merely the code name given to any plane that the president flies in. Similar to this, any helicopter the president flies in is designated Marine One. It’s similar with the Vice President except they are then designated Air Force Two and Marine Two. As for whether they’re the same planes Kennedy used, I believe they are and I believe the US military is currently working on building new, upgraded planes to be used as Air Force One.

Yeah, but, why does no one speak of the money his daughter got after he went to prison?
@@Grimreaper-up1uy No, he was not sentenced to 25 - life, he was sentenced to death. However, the verdict was overturned on appeal (on a legal technicality) and he was awaiting a retrial when he died in prison in January 1967.
The Carcano was not an inaccurate rifle, especially not at 250 feet.
biggest problem with the carcano being inaccurate is no one makes the amunition that it requires and most are makeshift from another rifle round where the bullet is close but not quite right but get the right bullet and its a good rifle , what makes his assination so crazy is over 50 years later and we still dont know all the facts surrounding it and alot of questions remain unanswered to this day
Shawn Mcglamery Oswald was in possession of the proper 6.5 x 52 Mannlicher-Carcano ball ammunition.
@@Alderak1 then his shots should have been fine and dead on with proper zero on his scope but hitting a moving target would still have been a chalenge but not impossible
Shawn Mcglamery At that distance and the car’s speed the lead would have been basically non-existent. Its not a hard shot if you’ve been practicing for it (assuming he didnt just wing it) and if you’re a marine marksman. Experts seem to be pretty confident Oswald would have been able to execute it.
This is a day I'll remember my entire life. We were in school and they announced it and immediately sent us home. We didn't go back for a week. So much sadness! I still feel the pain.
Hey Artur Rehi! Im getting ready to send my post, should be sent between this week between next next week! Can’t wait to see your reaction 💕
This is the best commentary ive ever had the pleasure of hearing from anywhere and would honestly love to see how you handle horror games
JFK: I saved the world!
Assassin: *Im bout to end this whole mans career*
And life
Grandpa Soviet q lmfao it is Mans whole career but this is funny even without being correct 🤣🤣
How awful that must have been to go through for poor Jackie. How absolutely horrific it must have been. Imagine being next to your spouse or loved one or family member, and THIS happens. Absolutely horrific. Poor thing was screaming for help and was being told "Sit down!". She tried to save a piece of his skull that flew off, which was one reason she was grabbing for the back. I think that is a natural human fear, to die suddenly, scared, and in pain.
“Don’t become a president,it’s bad for you”
One of the smartest men alive
The guy that killed Lee Harvey Oswald was Jack Ruby. He was convicted of murder for killing Oswald and sentenced to death. He later was granted a new trial, but before the new trial could begin he got sick and died in prison.
Artur...
*Tea is hot!*
I'm going to buy the cup for Christmas!
Jack Ruby, the guy who killed Oswald was initially sentenced to death, but had his sentence reduced to life. However, he only served 3 years in prison before dying of cancer.
I was just in the middle of watching it but then I saw your notification so I clicked repeatedly
My grandparents were there. They skipped school that day and saw Kennedy drive by. Once they got back to the car it was all over the radio that he had been shot.
I love the intro but missed the calm words of “Hello my friends, my names is Arthur Rehi and I’m an Estonian TH-camr.”
Jack Ruby, the nightclub owner that killed Lee Harvey Oswald, was originally sentenced to death but was then scheduled to have another trial. He fell ill and died at the prison before his second trial took place.
@CaptainNice AF1 also has on-board anti-missile capability to intercept ground launched surface to air missiles and RPG's
Jack Ruby was originally going to be sentenced to death for the murder of Oswald, but was later given a new trial but unfortunately passed away in prison to some sort of illness.
Call me a concpiracy theorist but i did research on this since i was a kid and i swear they were in a 2 row double seater car not in a 3 row car
You are wrong. There was the back seat, then in front of that two inset fold down "jump" seats (on which Governor John Connally and his wife were sitting) then the front seats. Three rows of seats in all.
A lot of people recall it as a 2 seater. It was 3.
Jack Ruby was arrested and sentenced to death, but the sentence was appealed. While waiting for the appeal case to go to court, he died of a pulmonary embolism in prison.

As for suggestions in regard to what to react to? If Roman history is your thing, Historia Civilis has a huge playlist on various topics, Roman Politics, things about Julius Caesar, Battles and the like.
“The last day we had a President who was intelligent and powerful was the die George Washington died.”
My elderly neighbor when I lived in Franklin, Tennessee, was a Secret Service Officer from President Eisenhower to President Carter. His unit was in Chicago that day. He said the Dallas unit was considered one of the weaker Sec Service units. He lays all of the blame on a weak sweep of the area. The actual video footage of the incident is unnerving.
Kennedy's presidential limousine was a bulletproof Lincoln limousine convertible that had the bulletproof top removed so that people could see him better during the parade.
This was a fun video and I enjoy your commentary, I don't know why people get mad when you comment, that's the whole point of watching it here, instead of the main channel who posted it. Love it and would like to see more. For a suggestion of video I would suggest "America in Africa? (Welcome to LIBERIA)" or "The Rise and Fall of America's Only African Colony (History of Liberia and Americo-Liberians)" as I know you like history and this is some interesting history that people don't see much of.
Jack Ruby was arrested, found guilty of murder, sentenced to death, had his death sentence appealed and overturned, then died anyway due to health complications caused by lung cancer.
He certainly led a helluva life. His Wikipedia page is an interesting read.
More odd because Oswald, who was part of the classified working of American Radar Systems was allowed to go to the Soviet Union in the first place.)
Seventh, though Oswald was a Marine, he could barely qualify with a rifle.
The car is a Lincoln Continental
Keep up the good work Arthur, great energy and vibe.
Hi so as a historian who deals alot in military small arms I would just like to point out that the 7.35 Carcano is actually not an innacurate rifle by standards of the time and only earned that reputation by missized commercial ammunition as, with original ammo, it is a perfectly accurate weapon.
Some Carcano rifles also had "progressive rifling", so if people shortened the barrel the bullet wouldn't get the correct spin to fly straight.
cameron austin As a guy who works in arms sales, with a military background, I agree, it absolutely can be an accurate rifle.
The car he was riding in was a Lincoln Continental I believe.
Jack Ruby (the nightclub owner) got sentenced to death that was overturned and he spent a few more years in jail before his death in 1967(aged 55)
The way the hotline gets around the language barrier is that it's not a telephone as shown in movies, it's a teletype machine- it gives written messages, so everybody can read it and agree on translations.

i enjoy the editing you are adding to your facecam. Like the zoom in on your face when drinking the hot tea 😂

Anyone else notice the Joker theme playing in the background every time Artur pauses?
Oswald: *Shoots Kennedy from behind*
Kennedy: *Falls backward toward the shooter*
Nothing to see here folks. Move along.
Not wanting to get into conspiracy theories but that could be explained by the acceleration of the vehicle in response to the first shot
th-cam.com/video/jdwVUBlK-Y0/w-d-xo.html 0:27-0:28 You can see the impact of the bullet. It doesn't hit his head from behind. The side of his face that the bullet hits is the side that's facing forward. Away from Oswald.
Jack Ruby was tried and convicted for Oswald's murder and sentenced to death. He was granted a new trial, but grew ill and died in prison in 1967.
All of my grandma's was there on a Friday and November 22nd 1963
I saw few days ago. You are the best estonian youtube ever. Sa oled parim
The auto in question was an especially equipped Lincoln Continental made by Ford Motor Company and it was big.
(5:10) The current Air-force one is a newer plane made in the 80s, though they are currently working on making a new one in the coming years.
It's pretty funny you ask about Jack Ruby cause he *rather suspiciously* died in prison before he could disclose any information about his club
"Air Force One" isn't a specific jet, it's a codename. Any aircraft that the president rides in is officially designated "Air Force One."
the car is a lincoln. ive seen it in museum at the henry ford museum
I buy the cup on next Friday when pay comes in
Air Force one is any plane that the President is using. The main plane used as Air Force One is replaced or updated regularly.
Hyvää Itsenäisyyspäivää!
Air Force one is still used today which means it’s very old. Of course there has been some upgrades to it in the interior.
The Cadillac (made by General Motors) was for others in the cavalcade (parade).
The car was a Lincoln continental.
The back seat door opens backwards and was called a suicide doors for some reason
Finland
What's the background music you use called? It sounds pretty amazing.
You can see the car at the Henry Ford museum in Dearborn Michigan.
Although the car behind Kennedy's car was indeed a Cadillac, the car Kennedy was riding in was a Lincoln, not a Cadillac.
The presidential Fleet is always consisted of two planes. The call sign "Air Force One" depends on if the president is on board.
5:15 well the "official" airforce one is, but technically any plane the president flies in is given the title airforce one but there is an official plane that is supposed to be airforce one unless its broken.
I love your vids!
Let's do this
Theirs a video showing the hole assassination I forgot what It was called if you want to see it reply and I'll try finding it
It's called "The Zaprouder Film".
I am impressed about your interest in American history. I'm kinda curious about of Estonian history.
There arw actually 2 Air Force One planes, and yes they have a different plane now.
The car was a specially outfitted 1961 Lincoln continental limo..it was called.
Dam you were quick to get this video done.😁
Artur Rehi President Kennedy's car was a Lincoln Continental. But now they are always Cadillacs
I believe that was a stretched special edition 1961 Lincoln Continental limousine.
Jack Ruby, the nightclub owner who shot Oswald did go to jail but, he was suffering from cancer and died before his trial
You asked what car it was.
I am pretty sure it was a Lincoln Continental X-100.
Love it bro
Is it just me or there’s joker’s song playing in the background
The car was a modified 1961 Lincoln Continental.
Jackie's pink Chanel dress is in a time capsule and still can't be opened for like 100 years or something.
