I talked to him today. I am building a 1978 F350 with a 8.1L and a 6 speed Allison. I really hope I don’t have too much interference with the transmission tunnel of my 2wd truck. 400 v8 is locked up and it has a gooC6, but that will be on CL soon. Dave really knows his stuff!

I've had power windows/locks for 30yrs...NEVER more than a $75 regulator and motor...very worth the convenience

I watched this earlier this morning as I'm looking to put a new transmission in my 1997 f350 7.3L. I called decided to give them a call. It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Dave answered the phone!!!! I was blown away!! He talked to me on the phone for close to an hour. It was absolutely awesome talking with him and listening to his knowledge and listening to him explain how he runs his business, FULL RESPECT!! I will be purchasing an Allison 1000 for my 6door, I highly recommend if you have any questions call them! Great video and great family owned business!

Wow I had given that some thought when my 47rh finally gave up on my 95 4x4 of using a Allison 1000 . I had the truck for a long time and it pretty clean truck with 215 k miles on it . So I plan on keeping it from now own ..I always hated the huge gear split of the 4 speed automatic. That and the crappy fluid coupling in the convertor.. every one said just just have it built . I said he'll no . So now I have a rebuilt g56 rebuilt tc case one piece aluminum drive shaft. So how does the shifter schedule work on the Allison as far as lock up . Nice job on the conversation. I doing a hydroboost conversation on my brakes now .

Was hoping to some footage on how to fit these monster Allison’s in these tiny trans tunnels but sadly there was no footage
we didnt need to modify the trans tunnel at all. it fit just fine
They fit rather nicely, from this Ford, square body chevys all the way to OBS fords and many others. We don't need to make any extra room for them at all. Some can get a bit snug but clears without hitting anything.

Love the bull nose and what his plan is but he was definitely wrong about the 6.9 they got many that where 400k plus running and the 460 with 90k was junk lol definitely not a long lasting truck if it was done in a year, hope he get on the project sooner then later, cool vid
All that truck needs is some wider meats on it. It’ll look more aggressive.
