@@Postthisvideo I saw him in 2019 and he sounded great and their stage presence was top notch, probably because it's a recording. It was a top 5 of concerts (of about 300+ I've been to) level performance and fun.
hey guys im Shane's wife Bre and ive loved these guys since they started. I love listening to them live as Jons voice is still dreamy and has that magic presence. ILL ALWAYS LOVE KORN
Not that this is a bad version of "Clown" live but I've heard them play it better. There was a version I heard/downloaded years and years ago that was live and they absolutely tore the shit up with it
They're a good band but they sound nothing like early korn. Orthodox are just another hardcore/beatdown band with those knocked loose sounding riffs and breakdowns

Man its a shame that Silveria said all that shit and they don't play with him anymore. He was the best drummer and especially in this song someone else playing drums doesn't do the original drumming justice. Same with bass here. Fieldy is crazy on it and this other bass player isn't doing justice.
+Evan Paluch don't get me wrong he is still a fantastic drummer and their live shows are still great, he just can get carried away with adding shot to the older classic korn songs we know and love. the beats and grooves that David came up with were simple but so different and worked so well.
Korn - Clown (Live at Phoenix 95) Look at this performance of Clown compared to this and someone please tell me the difference. No I dont give a fuck that one was in 1995 and another was in 2014. When you perform a song that YOU FUCKING WROTE YOURSELF you perform it with all emotion that was inside you when you wrote that song. Fucking JD is happy and in a better place, and I am so happy for him. But for the love of God man its like he doesnt feel it anymore. Wait no, HE DOES NOT FEEL IT ANYMORE! People can disagree and what not, but seriously I'm not saying I was the guys to be depressed again. I just want them to feel the music and lyrics again. Because as far as I'm concerned this is a performance, not a "lets try our best to hype the crowd up" show. Fuck me man Im so disappointed. Korn went from legends to this. They are seriously throwing their careers down the drain. FFS they are opening for Slipknot now! Really?! Dont get me wrong slipknot are awesome and I love them. But thats like saying Mudvayne will open for Bring me the horizon. Stupid right? Every song or album title Korn have come up with has been a slow progression of their own demise. Started off Blind, then Good God, Got the life, things got Dirty, then were Here to stay, later they did their (my) time, seen them on the other side, tearjerker was the name, an Evolution began to a new sounding korn, but just like they couldnt name their album untitled, their fans had nothing to say, tried to excite us and the world by calling out, hey! remember who we are? Everyone said no, so they said fuck you all we are on the path to totality and yelled GET UP! we all stared in shock. Is this our Korn? They realised fuck, what have we done, now attempt a paradigm shift, yet something still seems lost! So Im calling out to korn, get back to your roots, or simply just fuck off!
I understand your point man, but come on, at least JD has been giving us the very best of him for 20 years, his voice, his heart is no longer the same and for fans like you, he has been trying to come up with good lyrics and almost touchable feelings in his music, thas why in the last 3 years he has had 5 depression cryssis, but now when he doesnt feel like a clown anymore or he cant take enought air during a song, some people just talk bad about him? And their albums, come on, its awfull for any artis keep doing the same for 20 years, specialy musicians, so is understandable that they like to come up with new stuff, and radical and questionable changes is what Korn has been doing since their firts album, They even have a song with Ice cube! but fans, and specially metal fans dont like that kind of changes, but Korn take the risk and gain a lot of fans, now they take the risk again and their own fans booo it, when they should see it coming first.
i had only love for this gyus since the '90s but as time pass i'm getting more and more dissapointed at they live performances. i'm getting the feeling that jon doesn't feel his songs anymore... i think this song in particular sucks .... just hear the part "hit me clown because i'm not from your town, now, hit me clown" and you'll see my point....i don't blame him for changing, everybody grows over time but come on man! wtf are the fans mean to him anymore?
Yolo Swegit will be better if Ray use the old drum set that David used, it's not that expensive to get a piccolo snare, personally this snare that he's using doesn't fit with the korn sound
It seems korn dosent enjoy their music anymore, it sound bored, jon dont hace emotions like before, instead the vocals sound so bad, i love their new música toó, but un stage they arent korn :'(
i love their 90s albums the best but theyre still good. their live performances however arent as crazy and fast as they used to be but they always deliver
They're not teenagers anymore so they've matured along with their music through out the years. Also, the band doesn't want the same sound for every album , it's obvious they've done something new for every album and they still got their own unique sound along with every each one of them. If you only like their old stuff, just listen to their old stuff. It's simple.
lol , if you ever seen there old school live versions of this song. I think they murdered it better than they did back when they first cracked the song in live.
KoRn was put on this earth for live shows. They're all 40+ years old and still shatter your teeth live. \m/
Braden Scott see Meshuggah live
Why do people spell it koRn.
@@B_e_e_k_a_y I don't know, because the band has ALWAYS spelled it as KoЯn
90th like mine of your comment Braden bro
I read so many people saying this my expectations were super high, I was a little underwhelmed when I saw them last month. Still kicked ass tho
This is easily one of the best riffs ever made.
Korn is the best of the best ....GOAT
AM i ryt?
Who is with me
Slipnot have pic of GOAT in their suit!!! 😁🤘
That intro bring back the life is peachy era
This is from their first album
And Life is Peachy is their second, dude didn't mean it literally is from LIP lol
Jon Davis isn't the beast on stage anymore that he was in the 90s, but his voice is still top notch. Not many guys doing it for as long can say that
His voice is shot. Noticed he hits the O2 lately. But that's not surprising as hes now in his 50's
slayer 88 his voice is in excellent shape.
Corey Taylor still pretty top notch with Slipknot.

Korn is rules!!!

Badass performance, they killed this shit
Freaking Epic!! Love Korn!
That intro is incredible ❤🫶🏼
LOV3 the pre hype🙈🙈🙈🔥🔥🔥then they hit you with the RIFF!!!!!
My fave band korn and siakol...from philippines
i bet heads like OMG i remember this song
The most shocking yet best part, they went back to there grassroots with the intro to the song when it was played live.
This reminds me so much of Meshuggas intro to death is life/ life is death 💪🏽
Fucken aye they play clown LIVE SO BADASS
Imagine having Giger design you a mic stand
Not that this is a bad version of "Clown" live but I've heard them play it better. There was a version I heard/downloaded years and years ago that was live and they absolutely tore the shit up with it
one of my fav songs
The intro is the same from 1994 live version
Alex Rodriguez 1996 bro
I like ghow they incorporated the keyboard
Not hating, but Davids flow on this live is much better. It's hard to emulate someone else's style but Ray does a great job.
To be honest, when Joey Jordinson played Clown live, he still did better than Ray.
0_Plague_0 not really. Especially since they had to speed the song up for him.
Ray Luizer is a genius. OMG
Johnathon is amazing but the guitars are the real front man of KoRn, this riff is so good
fucking drummer! come back David please !!!!
yes!
He's a dick though.
he left. no coming back for him.
he wants to come back but korn doesn't want him for whatever reason
Ray is a god
David has more groove which makes early songs bettet
The Never fuck David.
KoRn lml

David fuckin Silveria!

i like the drummer :D damn David !!
Ray is their former drummer, David was their first. Lol
Why does everybody think that ray is david, its ray, David hasnt played with korn since 2005 i think
Klown CoRn Performance
if you’re looking for a newer band that sounds like old korn listen to orthodox they’re from nashville Tennessee and they’re hard af
They're a good band but they sound nothing like early korn. Orthodox are just another hardcore/beatdown band with those knocked loose sounding riffs and breakdowns

sounds amazingly similar to the album version
+Paul Revere the intro is something you can only listen to in a live and Jon's singing is different here than on the album
@@princedevitt1581 molested is the track
Nah man this song doesn't feel canon when Brian doesn't give us the "I'm the god up here" look.
Bro I get sent to the shadow realm
When I hear this
And that album look in the mirror

Do korn play in drop a or a standard in first 3 albums?
a standard i think
Can bunlar can
Ray stop adding so much shit!!!! don't need fills and double bass where there isn't any

Jelly much? Ray is much better and much more creative than the boring/plain drummer Korn used to have. NOW THIS SOUNDS LIKE METAL!!! lml
No his style is so entertaining
So they can STILL play that classic sound from their first album, it would seem. Why not do that for a newer album? :/
Ray 😒

Ya no es lo mismo. Hace rato que Korn valió queso para mí. Hoy solo vine a ver un vídeo y comprobarlo

Song is missing daves groove
WTF??
All they have to do is get David back and they will be whole again
Ray is also a really good drummer in my opinion
Yolo Swegit will be better if Ray use the old drum set that David used, it's not that expensive to get a piccolo snare, personally this snare that he's using doesn't fit with the korn sound
I'm guessing you don't realize the shit David's done right?
Nino Falletta uh no
Killerman551 I disagree. I love his Snare sound.
The start is off putting. Vocals are soft. RIP My LIFE.
it's just sad to see Ray destroying (in avery bad way) David Silvera's drums,
