Would loved if him and chester Bennington did a collab
i would have to agree
Но это было не всегда, бэйби
This has, out of my 46 years on earth, flown and parked at first place. I will forever be grateful for this. 💖
TRUTH!
This is instantly in my top 3 favorite covers of all time. I’m so glad i found this. Korn absolutely killed it while maintaining the spirit of the original song. Just wow
Same here never been a fan of Korn but f:&k me that was awesome
I think mine 2. WOW❗️❗️❗️
@@teddybears4life240 Qqqq1q11 uh
Well said!! They definitely killed it as they do with every cover, staying close to its Trueness Johnathan Davis's voice has a way of just grabbing you, From the Drums OMG! THE DRUMS, All THE BASS! AT 45 IT still grabs me!! #ROCKIN2KORN4LIFE
what are the other favs
When he yelled "daddy what ya leave behind for me?!" Man I got chills. Jonathan has such great vocals!
That was intense!
You could tell that that meant something deep for him.....love singers that sing with real emotion!!! Well done Johnathan!!
Same. Incredible vocal control and great feeling. This guy is fearless
Yes such an amazing front man . Hes the definition of stage presence and just raw energy, true master of his art
I really believe JD gets his demons out on stage and with music. It's legit therapy for him imho, and amazing to witness. If you haven't seen Korn live yet, you simply must. My older son and I have twice now and can't wait to go again. Just an amazing live band, and no matter how much you like the bands they tour with, Korn always blows them away. The other bands aren't bad, it's just that Korn is a step above live. I'm ashamed to admit I didn't even listen to them until AFTER I saw them live. I was seriously blown away and have been a huge fan ever since.
And JD has asthma, he keeps oxygen behind a speaker and sometimes has to use it between songs. He gives it his everything and you can tell. 💘🤘
Korn covering Pink Floyd with Mudvayne's bassist... True masterpiece
Ah that's who that bassist is? I saw him and thought it was, that guy is great at bass. Best possible fill in for fieldy
@@alex8449 from mudvayne he is
Brr brr Deng
lol i was like whaaaat, Ryan Martini is a bad mf..
the amount of restrain he was exercising was ungodly. to play without goin full ape on it.
they just nailed the spirit of the song and the audience of the rock.... live long and prosper...
My father is huge fan of pink flyod and i am of korn i show this to my father he say amazing
Sounds like your father is the man
Your father is genius and you're the moron
YOU are amazing
I'm dead. But it's good. 👍
One of best memories with my dad is when i was little he had pink floyd the wall on a cassette and we would ride around jamming it. I did the same thing and showed him this performance and he thought it was badassery.
KoRn has reached Immortality ...this will forever be one of the best pieces they have done and will be epic as long as the lights are on!
Just another sub-par new-metal band who died out. It's not like anyone remembers the bands members names.
Ñ
@@SeanSitka You're a moron.
@@SeanSitka I'm not even a Korn fan and never have been, and I can tell you all of their names except the drummer.
Jon Davis
Brian "Head" Welch
Reggie "Fieldy" Arvizu
And I'm pretty sure the drummer's name is Joey, but I could be wrong there. My point is, you're wrong.
Oh and James "Monkey" Schaffer (sp?)
@@SeanSitka not mainstream≠dead brother, you’re wrong on that.
I had a pet brick when i was a kid. KoRN is my childs favorite band. Thank you
'Are there any Pink Floyd fans in the audience tonight?'
Just everybody
No one
2:37 the build up, him reaching deep into his emotions to deliver these lines, the raw power is fenomenal!! KoRn 4EVER ! Floyd fan !

Huge pink Floyd fan very impressed
You should see these guys live!
@Cognitive Chaos snoop doggy what a ledgend
@@mariephillips7972 They are awesome live. I've seen them 6 times and never disappointed.
This is nothing compared to them live!
The darkness of his growth through life has been a rough journey for him. Still rock music. But remember, God is not Dead!!!
I was there, one of the best performances ever! I just showed this to my 6yo son (whos really into metal) and got goosebumps all over again
Johnathan Davis has attitude of an angry lion. He roars. Seen Korn live a few times and he always puts his entire heart into it. You don’t sing like that from having it easy.
Ты абсолютно прав!
Indeed f..hell.aeesome petformance..
I love that you can see the pain and intensity in his eyes.
and in my ears...
As a bigest Pink Floyd fan I want to say that isTOTALY AWESOME MASTERPIECE and best cover i ever seen...
I haven't even started listening to this song yet and I'm pretty stoked for it
Yeees!!!! 😊👍

Truly epic! Huge Floyd fan.hope Roger approved, wonderful.rob
THAT'S ONE OF THE MOST SUPER BADDEST COVERS EVER
True!
You need to see him pull off Linkin Parks memorial concert for Chester Bennington. He nailed One Step Closer.

I had the pleasure to see this live...they cant take that away from me
I'm jealous! Wish I could have been there too!
@@staceyevans638 Me too, I seriously don't even know why I wasn't there? :D
THE power in his vocals when he opens up!
truly unmatched to this day
This is so good my favorite growing up when this was popular in school lol
I was there. I remember the chills that tore the skin from my body and the immense sound energy that came like a massive wave from the stage
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🤘🤘🤘🤘🤟🤟🤟🤘🤘
Unfrickenbelievable cover of a masterful song by the legends Pink Floyd. Korn did this righteous justice. Huge props to Korn.
Couldn't of said it better myself!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘✊✊✊✊
@@jasonbussey6742 th-cam.com/video/bM605fANlyw/w-d-xo.html
Sure did man 👍👌😁
I must agree with you it's like his body and soul went into Pinkey's world showing all the anger that led to the breakdown that caused judgment to tear down his wall . Best work I've ever seen on that song.
Absolutely No other group could do a finer job Wow they know how to rock
Their cover of “One” by Metallica is incredible too! David absolutely crushes the drums - the double bass is real with that one 🙌🏽
Yup and there performance with heavy head banging plus the guitarists jumping while strumming 😄
yup lars couldnt keep his feet still lol
That's not Dave that's Ray luzier
@@johnstonedavis1792 I know, I was referring to the MTV ICON Metallica performance.
Fantastic cover! Words cant describe the energy this work of art produces when you crank it up on a system with great bass. Great work Korn.
Agree !!!
59 years old and a huge Pink Floyd fanatic. My daughter (so proud of her choices in music)was a Korn fan. I decided to listen thinking,...hmm. Wow, Awesome job.
an apple won't fall far from its tree. My mom is a hard rock fan, met my father at a Bon Jovi concert, I met my son's father in an anarcho-punk fair. My son is 6, as a baby, he used to sleep to rockabilly, Elvis, and samba, but these days he dances and makes up his own lyrics to Korn whenever I'm listening to it.
Personally, I think Korn is one of the greatest, they're relatively younger but still of such a great music quality. So much rhythm and transparent feelings. Pink Floyd is a classic, that should be in the hall of greatness as it is lol
Atta. Girl
I love the feeling you get. David did a similar heartfelt during the Delicate Sound of Thunder!!
What makes this version epic is that they successfully merged all 3 parts in to one great version. No one can be as good as Floyd, but this cover is king.
My exact thoughts
ur right no one needs floy he just wants to be heard for him cause we. like it and he wanted to show he's excellent to get it
It's shit
I have too agree ✋
I've been listening Korn since Blind was realeased and I love this band, especially the first albums. But I must say that this version is terrible and terrible played. The solo makes my ears bleed. some covers shouldn't be made and Korn trying to play Another Brick in The Wall massacred this song..
Imagine how many teachers in that crowd still bangin like they weren’t the cause for another brick on those walls haha
Future teacher 😅
Jonathan Davis , you sang out with all your soul ..I am speechless.., tears just started about to roll down seeing your performance... Great performance ever and may you live long live where ever you are!
This DRUMMER is EPIC !

Great take by Jonathan and his boys on one of the greatest rock songs ever.
When he sang "Daddy what did you leave behind for me" I almost passed out!!!!
I did pass out. I'm passed out right now. Maybe its the drugs. Whatever, I like your comment though.
Dude I keep playing that part over and over it's sooooo sick
The vocal performance on this is something else. JD killing it.
This is the best musical piece i have ever heard in my fkn life. Just wow man. This hits different. It hits deep, the darker side of me. It enters my trauma room. This brings a joy to the most broken part of me. Love in the darkness 🔥💖🔥
I'm a Floyd fan, but damn korn rocked this song
You're stupid.
@Kevin Warriner where true ?
No, they didn’t.

I'm a big KoЯn fan and this is freakin Amazing, a Great tribute to a Great band
Don’t think I need anything at allllllll.....except Korn rocking my world with a kick ass version of one of the best songs by the best artists ever!!!!!
You can see his own emotions in this 3part timeless pieces for a huge Floyd fan and fan of korn they honored Floyd awesomely
The emotion in his scream at 2:40 is palpable. Unbelievable performance
The more I listen to this track the more I think this drummer has got to be up there with some of the best. The heavy beat and the way he uses that bass drum leaves we with tingles. Just brilliant.
Couldn't agree more...funny how many Ray-haters there are just cause he not the original drummer. Just shows that the haters have no idea what they're talking about. There are many clips of Ray Luzier on here, check them out...he never fails to impress.
Ray is a monster for sure......one bad boy right there....fk’n monster
Ray is a BEAST
I agree...he is extremely talented on the drums!!!
Absolutely.......unbelievably good drummer!!! Precision, tempo, and his range is phenomenal !!!
That voice is unique
Tenor
2024 anyone🤟?
Best cover of Brick in the Wall - ever.
Hello..listening during 2020 quarantine.
This band has done alot for the troops also
Duh
One of the most epic covers ever done next to Korn doing "One" from Metallica.
metallica - Brothers in arms
epic like hell
Agreed !
Korn covering One so standart as usual, nothing special
@@kikubro3606 It's not that great, IDC much for the One cover, it doesn't fit Korn's style that well if you ask me.
One of the absolute best live bands ever Jonathon's vocal range is amazing 🤘🐰🤘
Easily one of the best cover versions of this epic song and surely one of Korn's greatest live performances! The tremendous power in Jonathan's voice gets me every time! 🤟🏼
The best modern interpretation of another brick in the wall
This version came out in 2004
Jordan page is pretty good too but this is solid gold
Are those 2.9k down votes die hard Pink Floyd fans who don't like others paying homage to their music? I'm a Pink Floyd fan, but I love what Korn have done! Pure music genius!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Lot of Korn haters out there
What a feelings of this guy singing this song
One of the best bands ever!
Korn is a perfect example of a band that is staying true to their fans. I love these guys.
I think these guys r already in the Rock& Roll Hall of Fame and Rock on forever🤘🖐✌🙏
@@kennethfriedlander7562 F*ck that, KoЯn is too good for the Rock & Roll HOF!
This is a classic, because it's from the heart, the soul, the brain and the rock n roll spirit.
I’ve listened to Korn’s cover of this Pink Floyd song as much as I’ve of I’ve listened to the original Pink Floyd song and this is by far the best cover. So much pure emotions from Johnathan and Munky and Ray. Truly amazing!
Exelent interpretation, very authentic without breaking both styles...both styles? Wow very professional.
Fooking awesome ✌️✌️✌️✌️🤘🤘🤘😎🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘😇😇🇬🇧😍😍😍
Dear stranger who are reading my comment may their parents live 100 year's 🤗
there dead already aha
This is my neighbors new favorite song wether they like it or not
I relate to that . Doing same @ this moment...back 2 back very very loud . Love the intensity of this performance performance and i
My line is funnier.
Lol luv it 😊
Kkkkkk
That is an awesome comment. Think my neighbor is gonna have to like it also!!!
2:38 2:44
It is incredible when you realize that the artist over exploits the feeling and emotion of singing a song! He leaves his performance and explodes, it is so real to see them like this, that you know that his emotion surpasses.
This man can evoke and control emotions its magic. Especially an enormous amount of anger so beautiful to see how nothing is hold back.
They totally did this song justice
right
Absolutely one of the best band ever
Korn should never touched another brick in the wall i hope they get sued
@@johnbarker3308 go fall in a hole
I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan and this is just bloody awesome! KORN!
This is the rare opportunity that the Cover is WAY BETTER then the original.
Well done, Korn!
I think this is the, "I wrote it but can I play it" phase of Monkey's masterpiece Pink Floyd interpretation! ❤❤❤❤
I’m a Floyd and a KORN Fan. Love this EPIC version of the song !!! Love both of them !!!!
Haven't listened to Korn covering this in almost 10 years and this is still the best "reimagining" that I have heard.
Nobody could convey pain in this song like Jonathan.
This song and "One"by metallica are the best cover ever from korn!
Man I love koRn. This was an emotionally metal experience.
KoЯn
That says it for me... you just coined the phrase "an emotionally metal experience" wowed
*nu-metal, don't you forget that...
Pretty good way to put it. Music has kept me going through a lot (understatement), Pink Floyd playing a good part in it....but this version brought me close to tears.
@BrownMan98 f'n right! Class!
Pink Floyd released The Wall when I was in 9th grade. It has been my favorite concept album ever since. Korn are the perfect band to do this cover.
Munky solo was perfect,respect!
I am a Korn Fanatic.. but.. despite yhat.. this is one of the best remastered songs ever.. I'll die happy knowing I knew this version in this era😎😎😎
That was one of the greatest guitar solos of all time
i agree!
Nothing says we're all in this together like KoRn doing a cover of Pink Floyd.
When the lead singer has tambourines when guitar and drums are front and center=respect in my book.
My son asked me, what did you leave behind for me?
I said, the legacy of ROCK.
he sings like he owns the song.. amazing..😃
I grew up with Pink Floyd and this is definitely the best cover version I've ever heard 👏👏😁😁😎✌️
I agree with you. I'm 54 and I absolutely love the way Johnathan Davis totally rocked this.
I agree as well, also that drummer was epic !!!
I’m a huge Pink Floyd fan and I will say that was just phenomenal!!👍💯
oh yeah me too
Great.💪👌
The Wall came out right at the end of 9th grade and it was an anthem for a lot of kids then. So glad Korn did it justice.
Best Remake of this song. Much respect for the band and Jonathan for an amazing vocal performance.
was lucky to be there.Munky’s solo was and still is one of the most unique music experience i ever witnessed live.still remember the people around me was also under shock.i prefer the old school korn stuffs but this was unreal

He always brings it.
Sometimes I think Jonathan is the only person who has ever written anything that conveys the things I feel and think. This is an awesome cover of a great classic song.
This is phenomenal 🔥💖
I came for the Pink Floyd cover. I stayed for that solo afterward. And am I ever glad I did! Damn....
Its even more satisfying when you know that korn basicly don't do solo at all
Is it me or anyone else but when he sings this i get chills and goosebumps OMG instant mind blowing spine tingling goosebumps ..................i would be rocking this very loud in my garden and not giving A F*** ABOUT the neighbours .
Took the words right outta my mouth 🤘🏼
