Kiaora, could you maybe show part of your design processes please ? I'm trying to design my own pattern but am having trouble with the grids I'm using and how Koru are coming up not quite right 🤔

Tena koe, yes that is a korowai I am working on at the moment. The only way I can describe the stand is its similar to a carpenters horse thingy LOL. The one on the video is just a long wood sitting on 2 bar stools clamped so it won't move while your weaving. I'll put a short video up. This is all self taught as like you were saying, there are no weavers around, especially here in Melbourne. There are lessons out there, but they can be costly. So thank you for the comment and I will try to explain in a video - kia ora

Tena koe Violet, is that a korowai your making in the background? would you be able to make a video (or just a reply if thats easier) showing how the korowai stand is made and how the korowai fits and is worked on the stand please. I live in Wellington and am not sure if there are any taniko weavers nearby.
