    Hi Violet,
    Thank you for the great tutorial on weaving the taniko. I have also been showing my friend who is making one for her wedding day.
    Would you please be able to show us how to finish the taniko. Thank you .

    I am having so much fun doing Taniko weaving which I learned from your videos! Thank you so much. One area I can't figure out is how to end a row. Is there a way to do it neatly without leaving a bunch of knots?

      Não. Os nós têm que ser trabalhados no fim. Também demorei a descobrir. Na lateral e no fim ficam fios então vira o trabalho e dá nó de dois a dois fios. Depois faz como começa o trabalho com o ponto espinha com uma linha fina. Fica igual ao inicio do trabalho. Acho que possa ser assim. Também estou a aprender. Se fosse eu, explicava tudo. Faço várias manualidades como pintura de mandalas, trabalhos em missanga pequenina, bijuteria, crochet, tricot, bordado etc.

    Tena koe whaea thankyou for your tutorial on UTUBE I see it was 4 yrs ago I'm hoping you are still doing this as his is my first time weaving ..
    I am preparing to begin weaving a small size for my mokopuna new born due August .
    My patai is what size lengths and width do I need when beginning the taniko ..
    I had some spare wool handy an followed your tutorial do you recommend wool or something else to begin ..
    If you are no longer doing tutorial kei te pai but I do thankyou for your tutorial you are a very good instructor ka rawe .

    Thank you for this! I do have a question...if your weft doesn't make it all the way across your warp threads, how do you add on weft to finish the row? I've tied on a piece of thread at the back, but I hate leaving knots!!!
