I will say, this song, as well as the image, is accurate to what I have encountered with real wendigo, but I have gained some knowledge that has saved my life in every encounter with them, and I’m going to share it so that it may also save anyone else who is unfortunate enough to encounter one. The wendigo has such horrible eyesight, that it can only see movement. As crazy and maybe even suicidal as it sounds, if a wendigo is looking your way, whatever you do, DON’T RUN. As long as you stay perfectly still, it won’t see you. If it looks in a different direction, then you can take the chance to escape, but I’d advise acting like you’re in a deadly game of “Red light, Green light.” Because at that point, you kind of are. If it looks in your direction again, just be still and hope it hasn’t already seen you moving.
I absolutely love this song. There is only one thing I’d change, the double use of ghost, Greeds Ghost and Famines Host would, be better I think. But that’s my personal opinion. Regardless this is a great song!
@jazzmynecook5963 He's the illegitimate son of a famous duke, after starving for several weeks in the wild, where he escaped after a failed assassination (he survived) , he finds several human corpses in decomposition sacrificed, hungry and driven to madness by everything that happened to him he decides to eat them. After that he becomes a wendigo, one of the few that are sapients, he begins travelling in search of a cure for his insatiable and growing hunger. He loves to sing and tell stories, but every now and then his hunger creates dangerous situations for him and the party.
@fantasma3038 DAMN that's an awesome background! I was thinking about making an Elk Satyr/Seasonal Wendigo mix and basing him off of Asterian, one of the Synth V Voices in that program; specifically I wanna base him on a song with Asterian singing, called "Chronic Wasting Disease" which is named after a contagious and fatal prion sickness. so yeah, this guy is gonna get a lot of problems; has PTSD and Anxiety, always in famine and drought, extremely sick but can't die from the serious ailment, etc.
I love the wendigo as a monster, and the instrumental you got here is a perfect fit for a creature of indigenous American mythology. But am i the only one who noticed how strange of a lyric, “A hunger burning darker than the sun” really is? (0:56)
its actually a really good lyric line, its describing that even though the sun is more of a warmth and light object, Its also got a got dark side to it no matter what how nice it is, There is always another side to things and its up too the listener to see that more darker side, all and all, its a very good lyric ^^
Nope, its a silly line--the only dark part of the sun is the occasional sunspot. It's not the moon, it doesn't have a dark side, it's just fiery all the way 'round. "A hunger burning fiercer than the sun" would've worked better. The line that baffled me, though, was "A warning carved in the winter's rule." How does one carve a warning into a rule?!

Neat👍
I dread the wendigo meeting a eye doctor😰
Thanks for the tip, I'll have to tell the others to be more weary if they suspect prey is near!

This monster is the stuff of nightmares. Resembles cold, hunger and greed.

@KristinChoruby cute, but maybe you should consider the fact that not everyone gives a shit?
My favorite cannibal creature. We share same favorite meal. Wendigo was always high on my favorite mythological creature list.
