I typically don’t like what I see when I revisit the creepypasta fandom. But I absolutely adore when people make actually decent content like the decently rewritten versions of Jeff the Killer, Slender, and the others. And this song, it’s definitely one of the good things to come out of the fandom.

Honestly, I absolutely love this fandom. Horror is something I adore, though I can only hear it. I can listen to descriptions people being tortured to death but make me look at a video of it and I'd be traumatized. I just hate how toxic a lot of this fandom is.
I'd also like to say that some pastas are based off of real killers, and I think Jeff is in fact one of them. Just food for thought
A lot of fandoms nowadays seem really toxic. Something rotted somewhere and either peeps never grew up or we didn't teach the new gen better.

Alright here is his story along with his history
Jeffery Allen Wood (full name)
Born: July 9th (somewhere there) 1995
Mother: margret Wood
Father: peter Wood
Brother: Liu Wood
Last caught on cctv footage on January of 2008
When he was thirteen he was invited to a birthday party for his neighbors
He went along with his parents and brother
There he met up with three of his bullies
They picked on Liu first so Jeff attacked and ended up killing two of them
The remaining one poured bleach and gasoline on him and set him on fire
He ended up in a hospital and after a few days and a surgery he was discharged
Upon returning home at night while everyone was sleeping he looked at himself in the bathroom mirror
He then burned off his eye lids so that he “won’t have to sleep” and then cut a permanent grin with a kitchen knife into his mouth because his “mouth was hurting from smiling” at his reflection
His mother ended up catching him and he turned to her and asked “am I beautiful?”
The mother replied yes, and then went to go wake up peter and told him to get the shotgun
Jeff walked in on their discussion
“YOU LIED TO ME!” Said Jeff and he charged at his parents with the knife, killing them
He then proceeded into his brothers room and stabbed him (Liu lived Jeff didn’t know) while saying “GO TO SLEEP”
Then he left the running with the kitchen knife
He had committed 11-12 crimes which include:
Homicide
Familicide
Attempted murder
Stalking
Torture
Kidnapping
Break in
Vandalism
Stealing...etc
He was caught a few times and put to jail and a mental institution but Jeff successfully escaped every time and is still on the loose
He wants to kill his other bully as revenge
He is now 25 years old
He kills people by sneaking into set persons bedroom and yelling GO TO SLEEP before killing the victim and carving a smile like his into their face
If anyone wants to know Liu’s history tell me

When I last listened to this? I was depressed, had unidentified PTSD, and anxiety up the wazoo and I was in this horror phase. Mostly because my depression didn't want me to listen to anything that didn't have suffering. I'm doing better and have happiness in cute, pink, Japanese stuff, Moomins, all that. I'm diagnosed with PTSD. Just today, I was looking back and remembered how many times I listened to this song. Listening... I don't feel sad about the days I went through. I feel happy I'm able to look back on them. How I almost ended my life and here I am now, typing this, feeling the keys on my fingers, the day before Christmas Eve, having turned 25 recently. Thanks for getting me through, Creepypasta. I still listen to some creepypasta stories, I adore Happy Tree Friends, am interested in gore, and love DDLC... but it's not my personality anymore. While I'm glad it isn't? I'm glad I had it.

9 Years ago today and it's still a bop
I adore the thumbnail/ the image that is on the screen throughout the video. It reminds me that Jeff is meant to be a terrifying concept, he’s meant to frighten you. It also reminds me of when I first got into creepypastas, I was genuinely curious and maybe a bit scared of these creepypasta stories but now, I still love them, but they are no longer scary. The song is lovely as well, even though it’s been a long time since it was released onto this platform it’s still just as good as the first time I heard it a few years ago.

I come back here from time to time. 2 of my younger cousins asked me about Creepypasta a few years ago and they are still kinda getting used to the fandom. They mainly enjoy the original icons of Creepypastas. They are 9 and 10. They originally knew Slenderman, Jeff, Ben, EJ, LJ, and Lost Silver. They are slowly getting used to Jane, Clockwork, Toby, and a few others. They occasionally get spooked but they are also slowly becoming immune to the spooks like me though. But I still love the fandom and they are starting to at least like the fandom a lot.
I personally like this version much more than the one on spotify. Just something about it scratches an itch in my brain better than the newer more polished one💜
