    Apitong wood, very expensive and tough. Trailer is looking great. Hard work pays off..

    Dude, this is outstanding. You put in a load of sweat equity to literally build your own gear, and profit from it; very well done.

      Genius really. Except some companies want clean trailers.

      True, but there are also plenty that will do business without that requirement.

    Rusty, I repaired accident damage trailers in the UK. I think you did as I would have done on budget rebuilds. Don't keep making excuses for what you have done, it's more than adequate

    Those are know as solid rivets which are installed with a air hammer and a bucking bar. It wouldn't be a bad idea to use an adhesive like 3m panel bond when installing the roof cross members.

    Great work saving all them parts, people waste so much stuff that takes a bit of talent to fix 👍 Rusty you have to change the name of the trailer from Great Dane to Great Ukraine 🇺🇦 and see how many people notice apart from you and me obviously

    I have a question. I am currently working for a job for 7 years now. It's alright. The pay is basically $650.00 a week. To me, I feel like there's jobs that's paying much more than this. So I've started looking up on truck driving. I have ideas for the future like wanting a tiny house, buying a boat, and possibly getting a new vehicle. To me, I'm strongly thinking this current job I got is going nowhere and they don't seem to want to hire people for help. I currently live in NY but I'm strongly thinking of moving towards the southern states. I've just started studying the general knowledge test.
    Should I get the CDL here in NY and move on down the country and get the license changed into another state license?. I need some opinions. Thanks.

    • @paulshields2220
      @paulshields2220 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It doesn’t matter which state you get your original license in. It will fallow you to every state. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is not every state gives a manual restriction if you test in an automatic truck but if you transfer it to that state they may keep the restriction on and you’d have to retest in a manual to get it removed. Also don’t lose your DOT medical exam because you need that too to transfer your CDL.

    I bet it would be easier to knock the walls down and make it a flat bed 😂

    • @buckrogers2828
      @buckrogers2828 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can't as a box trailer without sidewalls and roof would have less structural strength than an Airfix kit!(Plastic models you make to fly round bedroom!).flat trailers have chassis rails with depth along with side rails. Box vans strength is all of it as the box frame/structure makes the strength.
