@@DarkSideCookies They don't carry over, but you can buy part of a unit on one turn and finish it over time. Keep buying units until the last one in the queue is grayed out, meaning you're out of resources, rec points or holy points. It'll appear first in line next turn. Handy for getting high value units out of low value provinces. Works kinda like slow to recruit commanders.
1:48 "But oh well, can't have anything" lol For that rec point problem, there is a Nature Blood spell that should boost your growth scales considerably. I'm not sure how far down the research track it is though, and I know how you feel about looking at books
they used to! i couldn't find the information about it in the manual though, but the map manual does say you can still make provinces more likely to have certain sites. that province does turn out to have an earth site if i remember correctly.
I'm glad you enjoy them! For fonts, if you navigate to the folder where dominions is installed (e.g. ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Dominions6\data) you'll find three font files named 'guifont.ttf', 'guifont_fancy.ttf', and 'guifont_texty.ttf'. These are the three font files used by Dominions. Dominions will use any truetype fonts you put in this folder though, as long as the fonts are named 'guifont.ttf' etc. so you can drop Comic Sans in there and name it 'guifont.ttf' and Dominions will use it. The fonts I use are these: www.dafont.com/nk57-monospace.font www.dafont.com/romanserif.font
That would be disastrous if there is a crippled unit in the squad. Even a limp would be very bad on a squad ordered to attack rear. On the retreat when they've already taken losses and probably afflictions it's probably best to leave the slower (crippled and limping) units to die to preserve the healthier guys.
10:30 Why not put the Atavi archers on fire and keep distance? If they're shooting at the front line, they'll be safe as long as your line holds. If the line fails, they ought to back off as quickly as they can. 'Fire and keep distance' really shines with horse archers/javelineers, but foot archers should be able to make it work as long as you don't want them to duel enemy shooters.
Being 2 recpoints short should just cost you 1 palankasha per 10 turns, not one per turn, if you recruit the partial units.
oh god you're right i forgot i could just do that.
I thought rec points didn't carry over like resources. Did that change?

I have a feeling this will be the Pythium game all over again in terms of pain.

I love hearing the proclamations so much, Foremost Salesbeing of Product 😂
I can't express how much your D6 games bring me joy!
So despise those 3 connections starts. Min should be 4.
Whoop whoop!
"This province has a little icon that suggests it has more earth sites I think"
Wait, those little details on the map mean something?
they used to! i couldn't find the information about it in the manual though, but the map manual does say you can still make provinces more likely to have certain sites. that province does turn out to have an earth site if i remember correctly.
IIRC only province terrain type affects the probability of finding magic sites.
yeah 'earth sites' is a hidden province type.
enjoy your videos!
by the way, also like your fonts of the game, how to change it like yours?

The more earth sites little stonehenge icon moves on turn 2 for some reason. Aliens?
haha never noticed that before, it moves every turn. the volcano one south east does too.
I would have thought a squad/formation would move at the speed of the slowest unit in the group in combat.

could've gotten 2 extra scouts right
who is that Pangean player and what discord server are you playing on?
i play on the ruby discord. i try not to identify players by name any more tho.
It's mysterious.

i always forget fire and keep distance exists for units.
