You don't have to remove the alternator. Take out the radiator fan. It's so much easier. Just 2 10mm bolts, Fan wire and the resovoir hose holding it there. You can thank me later

I always test even new ones, with a pan of water on the stove first. That's a lot of work to drop in a dud!

did this fix an ac problem? Im trying to figure if I need to replace the compressor or thermastat?

No, thermostat controls how much water goes into the engine to cool it down. You also may just need to recharge your AC instead of replacing the whole compressor. That worked for me and it's pretty cheap to do so even if it doesn't work it's a good first try.

How do u get to the bottom bolts

Do you put a little blue thread seal on your water pump bolts, so vibrations from the engine don’t cause them to back out and leak coolant?

Only if the bolts I take out have thread sealant on them then I will put sealant on them. For the most part if you torque the bolts to spec you have no issues. Thanks for watchin teally apreciate it besure to like and subscribe for more tips and tricks.
